About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. Whatever you need, I can do it! I can assure you that I will treat your pet as my own. I currently work full time at a law firm in downtown but I live in Sanford. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I am off on the weekends so I will be able to be there full time. Depending on the owner, I have put pets into their crates when leaving the house or at night for sleeping but I have also let them roam freely, if the owner allows it.

Brianna came and took our fur baby for a walk. She took adorable pictures and I love the description she left. It was raining when she came, and she still got him to potty and took the time to play with him. Thanks Brianna!

Morgan has been absolutely incredible with my two dogs. One of my babies has been sick and she has been so compassionate and patient with him during drop ins. She definitely eased my anxiety being away for the first time since he was hospitalized. I’d recommend Morgan to anyone looking for care for their dogs. Thank you for everything!

About: I have cared for dogs and cats throughout my life and understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone. With a background rooted in responsibility, safety, and attention to detail, I provide calm, structured, and dependable in-home care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I intentionally schedule visits to allow unrushed, attentive time with each pet. I plan my day carefully to maintain consistency in feeding times, medications, litter care, and companionship. I am dependable and punctual, and I limit the number of clients I take at one time so every animal receives calm, focused attention. Your pet’s comfort and routine are always my priority. specialize in senior pets and animals who benefit from a gentle, steady presence. I am comfortable administering medications, maintaining feeding schedules, and keeping routines consistent to reduce stress while you are away. In my home, pets are treated with calm structure and loving attentiveness. I cared for my own sweet Annabelle for 17-years. This has given me deep experience with senior pet needs, including administering medications and providing frequent, gentle potty breaks. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and watching closely for subtle changes in behavior. If boarding in my home, I maintain a peaceful environment, supervised interactions, and routines that help pets feel safe and comfortable.

About: Throughout the past few years, I've sat for several of my neighbors and friend’s dogs, from yorkies to pit bulls. This includes both walks and visits to provide food, water, and fun. Caring for my own dog, Charlotte, in recent years has given me experience in caring for senior dogs. This includes accommodating for hearing loss, blindness, low energy, and stomach problems. I am an incoming college student looking for a fun way to spend my free time. My current schedule is very flexible before I start classes. I am free most days aside from occasional family obligations and weekly senior living volunteering. Safety is my number one priority when caring for your best friend(s). When walking dogs in Florida, I have found it extremely important to monitor the weather and your pets breathing. I will always ensure they have access to enough water and food at meal time. And if they’re allowed, I love giving them the occasional treat.

About: I’ve been petting sitting since I was 13 from walking my neighbors dog while they were away for the day to feeding my best friends snake when she went on a 2 week vacation. There aren’t many animals I dislike and always open to taking care of new animals. I currently work in retail with a varying schedule but always off by 6 pm and every other weekend off. Most days I am in a 9-5 role but there are a few days that I open at 6 am. I am open to dog walking, house sitting at home or dropping in multiple times a day. I have multiple cats. I feed them a both wet food and dry food, scoop their litter boxes at least once a day with a once a week clean. I live in a small place, while I am not able to board I will check on your animal multiples times if needed, make sure they get plenty of enrichment and loves.

About: Hi! I'm a 19-year-old college student and lifelong animal lover who would be thrilled to care for your pets as if they were my own. I've grown up around dogs and cats and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply sticking to their daily schedule, I'm happy to provide attentive and loving care. Cats are easy too! I'm responsible, dependable, and understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for a member of your family. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away. I have availability every day of the week and my own transportation. I'm looking to fill my calendar with pet sitting jobs around the Sanford/Heathrow area. I am comfortable playing with dogs in a fenced area, or taking on a walk with a leash and collar. I can easily feed the pet as instructed.

Vanessa is amazing! Both my dogs absolutely love her and she is so responsive and caring with them. After their 1st daycare day with her the next day we started driving into the neighborhood and they got so excited because they knew they were going to see her. I’ll refer her to anyone who needs a dog sitter/walker.

About: I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life and shared responsibility for taking care of them with my siblings. I now have my own fuzzball - Miso (Brown tabby cat). I also frequently watch my close friends, neighbors, and family's pets while they’re out of town or just need a little 'me' time away from their energetic gremlins - always being sure to give them lots of love while their person is away. I have helped my closest friend train her Husky/German Shepard mix puppy do simple commands like: sit, stay, paw and most importantly potty training. I do have experience with younger animals so I can help out with training and I of course have loads of patience, experience, and love to care for senior pets too! I have always loved being around animals, they’re such pure creatures that we are soo undeserving of a lot of times! Feel free to shoot me a message to discuss times and availability. Weekends I am typically completely free unless marked on my Rover Calendar! :)) I currently WFH so can be very flexible. I can work on the road, or simply bring my work with me where ever I go. Just looking to pick back up some side jigs - mostly ones I find joy in, and this is definitely a big one on my list! I have an apartment that is near a small dog park and other parks in the area as well. I have a younger cat that is still adjusting to dogs but doesn't mind keeping to herself on her kitty castle (cat tower/tree) or in a separate room.

Sarah was so great with our big 90lb fur baby! Our dog can be intimidating to some and he is particular about who he likes. Sarah was a perfect fit! It was such a peace of mind to get photo and video updates while we were away for the day. Sarah went above and beyond in her care - even brushing his fur! Highly recommend!

Caitlin was so kind and caring for my older guy. She really took the time to ask ALL the questions even ones I didn’t think about. You can tell she has such a genuine connection with dogs. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
