“Cristy was great with our pup! It was our first time using Rover but she put our mind at ease and our dog looked very comfortable with her in the photos she sent. We will be using her again!”

“It was great having Caroline watch our fur-baby. As first time Rover users we were nervous about leaving our boy with someone new. As soon as we met her we knew he would be in good hands. She sent us regular updates and pictures, which put us at ease. I could tell he felt right at home staying with her and that she took great care of him.”

“This is our second time leaving our two dogs with Sam, and I can honestly say it’s such a relief to find someone I trust to care for them when I have to go out of town. We usually try to bring them with us, but sometimes that isn’t possible, and it eases a lot of stress knowing we have someone we trust to take care of them like Sam does. We will continue to book with her in the future. Our dogs are always at ease when they’re with her, and I can tell that she takes great care of them as if they were her own.”

“Julieth and her husband were wonderful hosts for our dog. They took great care of him, provided plenty of updates and photos, and were accommodating with our pick up time. We will definitely board with them again in the future!”

“Omg I can’t say enough about Luke. He was phenomenal with keeping me informed while boarding my dog. I enjoyed the photos and videos he sent each day. My dog was well taken care of and I highly recommend for short and long term stay!”

“Lily was an awesome sitter for our fur baby. She sent so many photos and videos that my 7yo daughter even felt good about leaving Max while we went on our cruise. In every photo, Max was smiling. You could tell he felt like he was on vacation also. This spoiled dog actually seems sad to be home with us 😂. Thank you, Lily, for taking such great care of our baby! We will see you again soon.”

“Sarah was absolutely amazing with our 2-year-old dog! We were away on a long vacation, and she kept us updated regularly with messages and pictures, which gave us peace of mind. She was very accommodating to our dog’s needs, and when we returned, our dog was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. You could tell she had been in great hands. I would definitely trust Sarah again and highly recommend her!”

“Juan is very nice and professional. Beautiful home and backyard. My dogs did nothing but sleep after I picked them up I can tell they had a blast. Thank you guys for your hospitality.”

“I was looking for a dog sitter closer to my home and found Candace. I have two dogs that had a great time while staying with Candace and Larry. They have a large fenced yard so my doggies enjoyed running and lizard hunting. I will definitely use Candace again.”

“Koda stayed for an extended visit and everything went really smoothly. I got videos regularly, which made me feel totally at ease while I was away. He clearly had a blast — especially making new dog friends. He came home happy and tired in the best way. I’d definitely book again.”

“I highly recommend Treasure! They took amazing care of, Jax, and treated him like their own. I loved getting picture updates every single time. It gave me total peace of mind, and I will definitely book again!”

About: A Home Away From Home for Your Dog 🐾 Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives. In May 2026, we said goodbye to our beloved Chihuahua-mix rescue, Shredderz. The hole he left in our hearts is enormous. We aren’t ready for another lifelong dog just yet, but we also know that our love for dogs isn’t going anywhere. So we found a way to keep dogs in our lives while giving them something wonderful in return: a true home away from home. We love to travel, and we’ve learned firsthand how difficult it can be to travel with a dog. And when your dog is family, traditional boarding just doesn’t feel like an option. That’s actually what inspired us to create The Doghouse Inn, a dog-themed vacation rental we owned from 2022–2025. We didn’t just allow dogs. We designed the experience around them. They had their own room, a literal dog castle made of beds, and a dog park in the backyard. 🐶🏰 We learned something during those years: dogs deserve to feel like welcome guests, too. Now we’d love to offer that same feeling to your dog in our home. When your pup stays with us, they’re not being tucked away in a kennel or treated like an afterthought. They’ll be part of our home, our routine, and our day. We’ll give them attention, affection, playtime, cozy places to nap, and all the little comforts that help them feel secure while you’re away. And because we’ve loved and lost a dog ourselves, we understand something else very deeply: Leaving your dog with someone is an act of trust. We don’t take that trust lightly. We’re not trying to replace Shredderz. We’re simply opening a door that he helped us discover: sometimes loving dogs means loving the ones who need a safe place to stay, too. If you’re looking for a home away from home where your dog will be genuinely loved and cared for while you’re traveling, we’d be honored to welcome them. ❤️🐾 We both work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day. Our schedules also give us flexibility, and when one of us has a commitment outside the home, the other stays behind. We love having dogs as part of our daily routine and are happy to include them in our work-from-home day. 🐾 We have a spacious 2,000-square-foot home on its own property with a completely fenced-in backyard and a screened-in pool. There are no other pets in our home, and we only board one family’s dogs at a time, so your dog gets our full attention without having to share the space with other boarding dogs. Our quiet, safe neighborhood has sidewalks for easy walks, and there’s a park about a mile away. Our fenced yard also gives dogs plenty of room to stretch their legs and run some serious zoomies. 🐾 We have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and truly enjoy having them in our home. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, loving environment where your dog can settle in and feel at home while you’re away.
“Thank you so much! 😊🐶This was Bono’s first time staying with her, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She took such great care of him and kept me updated throughout, which I really appreciated. Her communication was excellent, and it was clear that Bono was in great hands. I’m definitely planning to book with her again whenever I need someone. Highly recommend!”

“5 star rating!!! Rolanda was great, at the last minute I was able to attend an event, she was able to keep my puppy and gave updates on how he was doing, I will use her again for overnight boarding and would recommend her to any pet owner, She made it is easy to drop off and pick up, much appreciated!”

“Sophie had a wonderful time! I could tell she felt right at home from the moment she arrived. The updates and photos gave me so much peace of mind, and I felt completely confident that she was being well cared for. It’s such a relief to know she was in loving, capable hands while I was away. I would absolutely book again!🐾❤️”

“Chopper had a great time with Sasha. He got to make a new friend which made his time so fun! This was Chopper’s first long stay away from home and I felt extremely confident that he was in good hands.”

“This was our first time booking with Victoria, and Rocket absolutely loved it! He adjusted quickly and even made a new friend, Leo. Victoria was incredibly responsive, providing daily updates with pictures and videos, which gave us peace of mind. She took excellent care of Rocket, and we truly appreciate her attention to detail. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Matt and Jamie took excellent care of our very particular little men. They went above and beyond and were proactive about informing us of any changes in and around the house or concerns that they noticed during their daily visits. We got great pictures and lots of comments about our boys’ behavior every day. Would absolutely book with again.”

About: I understand that every cat has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. Some want plenty of attention and playtime, while others prefer their space—and I’m happy to let your cat set the pace. I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, medications or other routines you provide. I’ll also spend quality time with your cat so they have companionship while you’re away, without forcing interaction if they’d rather relax on their own. I know leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be stressful, so reliability and communication are extremely important to me. You can expect updates and plenty of photos so you can relax knowing your cat and home are being well cared for.

“Brianna was wonderful. Felix felt super comfortable with her and that’s a huge thing for a cat and for us as parents. Everything we asked was taken care of by Brianna!”

“Summer did a great job taking care of our two cats while we were gone. She was very responsive and made sure to send pictures showing all she had done. Definitely will book again!”

“My first time using Rover I booked Jeanna and she was nothing short of a great first experience! I was very nervous about leaving my cats but Jeanna was very attentive and communicated every thing she did each day in great detail. She definitely made me feel reassured my cats were in good hands. Will definitely book her again in the future!”

About: I have worked in a vet clinic setting that has allowed me to work with different types of animals of all ages. I have works from little dogs to big dogs to little cats to big cats. I always treat the animals like they’re one of us and make sure they are comfortable and happy. I always make time for my animals no matter the time I always work around and make sure everyone is happy. I’m open to work around my schedule in their schedule. The care that I give all animals does not change. I care for them all equally making sure they are all comfortable and they feel safe in their home either if it’s in my place or theirs.

“Shirley is the best. Not only is she an amazing person overall, but she’s the best pet sitter I’ve ever had for my 4 kitty cats. I was shocked that my one cat, who is usually terrified of new people, let her pet him on the second day! She really has a way with animals. You can tell she loves and cares for them deeply. While I was gone I got daily updates and pictures most days. Shirley really went above and beyond to care for my cats. She went over twice a day and hung out with them, let them out on the patio (which is their favorite thing ever). She even helped take out our trash and brought our mail in, which she didn’t have to do. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!”

“Caitlin is amazing! She responds super fast, and I hired her for a couple of nights to stay with my nervous kitty. She was able to bond with him which is tough to do, and sent me pictures and updates while I was away. I highly recommend Caitlin for house/pet sitting!”

About: I have cared for cats in a pet store setting (cats for adoption on site) as well as in a veterinary kennel. I have 3 cat babies and have always grown up around them! Both my kids have said “kitty” as one of their first few words if that says anything about how much we love cats over here 🐱💕

“Miss Audrey was fantastic with our kitten! Very personable and welcoming. She gently cared for our shy guy as he had to become comfortable in a new environment. Miss Audrey also sent updates about his stay. I recommend her for your pet's needs!!”
“Sarah took my cat, Noah, on very short notice due to an unexpected family event. She was quick to respond, great with communication and was so friendly and reassuring that we knew Noah was in the right place. I highly recommend Sarah and will utilize her services in the future!”

About: I’ve been around cats my whole life and have cared for family cats for years, so I know every cat has their own personality and how wonderfully bougie they can be! Whether they want to play, cuddle, or simply have their space, I’m happy to care for them on their terms. I’ll make sure your cat gets the love, attention, and routine they’re used to, and I’ll treat them like one of my own while keeping you updated with photos and messages.
“Caralin was absolutely excellent taking care of our pets while we were away on vacation. My girlfriend and I are overprotective pet parents and have trouble leaving our loved ones home while away; Caralin went over above and beyond with her care of them and truly impressed us with the care and love she showed to our pets. We would be happy to hire her again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to family and friends. If you’re like us and worry about your pets while away, you can trust Caralin to make sure they’re happy and taken care of.”

“So glad I found Douglania! Just moved here and needed a new daycare for my dog and she has made my dog so happy and comfortable! And has eased my mind while I’m at work. She is now my weekly go to!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also worked in a dog kennel where I helped manage and care for 25+ dogs, which taught me how to stay calm, attentive, and handle different energy levels and personalities. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog is playful, shy, high-energy, or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to follow their routine and give them the attention they need. I take pet care seriously and always aim to be dependable, communicative, and respectful of your home and your pet’s needs. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My daily routine is super pet-friendly—I do all my homework from home, so your pet will have company and attention throughout the day. I also work out in my garage, which means I’m never far away and can easily take breaks for playtime, walks, or cuddles. I’m homebody at heart, so your furry friend will always have someone around to keep them happy, safe, and loved. In my home, I treat pets like family—giving them a cozy, calm space where they feel safe and loved. I keep a consistent routine with plenty of playtime, potty breaks, and snuggles, and I always follow any special instructions you provide. When I’m in your home, I care for your pet the same way I would my own—respecting your space, keeping things tidy, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s sticking to their feeding schedule, going on their favorite walking route, or giving belly rubs just the way they like them, I make sure they feel right at home.
“Rachel did a great job taking care of Charlie. He was calm when I arrived to pick him up. Rachel reported that he ate his dinner with no problem and didn't bark once. Setting up the appointment was easy as was communication. Rachel provided a calm, safe, orderly environment for Charlie to relax and feel at home. And that helped me to relax, knowing he was well taken care of.”

About: Hi there! I’m Hailey — a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter based in Sanford, Florida. I’ve grown up with dogs of all kinds, from energetic Boxers and Labradors to gentle Shih Tzus, Golden Doodles, and even Pitbulls. I also have a sweet cat of my own who’s been part of my life for nine years, so I understand how much love and attention our pets need to feel safe and happy. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, and drop-in visits, always prioritizing your pet’s comfort and routine. I prefer to care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in a familiar environment. I’m also experienced in administering medications: topical, oral, and even injectable. You can count on me to make sure your pet’s health needs are handled with care. While you’re away, I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own: watering plants, cleaning floors, doing light laundry, and keeping everything neat and cozy for your return. You can count on me for reliable communication, regular photo updates, and genuine love for your furry family members. I’d love to meet you and your pets soon! 🐾 I am not currently working. I do drop in visits 4 times a day or I am able to spend the night with the pups. When I usually stay at the owners house I will have them write out instructions on how they want their animal taken care of and I will do just that as well as send pictures to make the owner feel more comfortable.
About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.
“Lili is THE absolute best there is. If you want your baby to feel right at home, get personalized attention (if that’s what they need), come home exhausted from playing, fed, pooped, and happy, then look no further!! Lili isn’t just a dog sitter to us, she’s FAMILY! I don’t know what I would do without her. Honestly. Tanner knows as soon as we turn onto her street, and gets SOOOO excited! We have used other hosts, and the result is not the same…not all hosts are created equal!! There have been times with others when Tanner doesn’t even want to get out of the car. With Lili, I feel bad picking him up because I know he’s having the best time and living his best life! She has been flexible, caring, understanding, and gone out of her way MANY times, just to make Tanner (and me) happy! So, of you’re looking for a host whether it be consistently or just one time, you will NOT be disappointed!! I cannot say enough great things about her! Be like Nike and JUST DO IT!! You won’t regret it!!”

“Don’t even know what to say except THANK YOU! First time using rover and interviewed others before meeting Kim. Once I met her and her pups, I knew Hudson would be in great hands. She provided photos and updates throughout the day and made him feel like part of her family. Can’t wait for Hudson to have more play dates and sleepovers with his extended family ?”

About: Hi! I’m Victoria, a local Sanford dog sitter and proud dog mom to Leo, my toy schnauzer. I provide a safe, loving home environment where dogs are treated like family—not just pets. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. I work remotely, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. Whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor breaks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized attention. I intentionally keep my boarding numbers low to create a calm, low-stress environment where every dog receives the care they deserve. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a walk and immediately after can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.

About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. Whatever you need, I can do it! I can assure you that I will treat your pet as my own. I currently work full time at a law firm in downtown but I live in Sanford. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I am off on the weekends so I will be able to be there full time. Depending on the owner, I have put pets into their crates when leaving the house or at night for sleeping but I have also let them roam freely, if the owner allows it.
About: I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover for many years, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your pet. I treat every dog I care for with the same patience, attention, and affection I’d want for my own. I also know how reassuring it is to hear that your pet is doing well, so you can expect thoughtful updates and photos during every visit. Whether your dog is energetic and ready to play or would rather have some quiet company and belly rubs, I’ll take the time to learn their personality and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I work Monday through Friday from 8 AM–5 PM, but I have flexibility with my lunch break and can schedule midday visits as needed. I’m available for morning visits before 8 AM, midday walks or drop-ins, and evening visits after 5 PM. My weekends are much more flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of schedules. I’m happy to work with you to keep your pet as close to their normal routine as possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my priority. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any household routines. I’ll respect your home just as much as I respect your pet and make sure everything is secure before I leave. You can also expect dependable communication, detailed updates, and plenty of photos during each visit, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing.
“Julieth was amazing she came right when scheduled and took such good care of my babies. It’s so great to have someone reliable and clearly so in love with dogs to take care of my pups.”

“Morgan has been absolutely incredible with my two dogs. One of my babies has been sick and she has been so compassionate and patient with him during drop ins. She definitely eased my anxiety being away for the first time since he was hospitalized. I’d recommend Morgan to anyone looking for care for their dogs. Thank you for everything!”

I plan my day carefully to maintain consistency in feeding times, medications, litter care, and companionship. I am dependable and punctual, and I limit the number of clients I take at one time so every animal receives calm, focused attention. Your pet’s comfort and routine are always my priority. specialize in senior pets and animals who benefit from a gentle, steady presence. I am comfortable administering medications, maintaining feeding schedules, and keeping routines consistent to reduce stress while you are away. In my home, pets are treated with calm structure and loving attentiveness. I cared for my own sweet Annabelle for 17-years. This has given me deep experience with senior pet needs, including administering medications and providing frequent, gentle potty breaks. I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and watching closely for subtle changes in behavior. If boarding in my home, I maintain a peaceful environment, supervised interactions, and routines that help pets feel safe and comfortable.

“Vanessa is amazing! Both my dogs absolutely love her and she is so responsive and caring with them. After their 1st daycare day with her the next day we started driving into the neighborhood and they got so excited because they knew they were going to see her. I’ll refer her to anyone who needs a dog sitter/walker.”

About: I’ve been the lucky owner of my rescued dog for many years and I know how hard it is to leave them at other’s care while traveling or at times of transition. I would love to help other pet owners during these processes. I love dogs! I am a young empty nester that spends weekends at the beach, lakes, and parks with my beautiful dog Giovanna Joy! We would love to welcome yours too to have fun with us in a loving , safe, clean, and cozy environment. I am very active with my dogs and have great knowledge of all parks and entertainment for dogs all around my area. I am very well located and enjoy great availability after 5 and weekends. Your dog will love me!
About: I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life and shared responsibility for taking care of them with my siblings. I now have my own fuzzball - Miso (Brown tabby cat). I also frequently watch my close friends, neighbors, and family's pets while they’re out of town or just need a little 'me' time away from their energetic gremlins - always being sure to give them lots of love while their person is away. I have helped my closest friend train her Husky/German Shepard mix puppy do simple commands like: sit, stay, paw and most importantly potty training. I do have experience with younger animals so I can help out with training and I of course have loads of patience, experience, and love to care for senior pets too! I have always loved being around animals, they’re such pure creatures that we are soo undeserving of a lot of times! Feel free to shoot me a message to discuss times and availability. Weekends I am typically completely free unless marked on my Rover Calendar! :)) I currently WFH so can be very flexible. I can work on the road, or simply bring my work with me where ever I go. Just looking to pick back up some side jigs - mostly ones I find joy in, and this is definitely a big one on my list! I have an apartment that is near a small dog park and other parks in the area as well. I have a younger cat that is still adjusting to dogs but doesn't mind keeping to herself on her kitty castle (cat tower/tree) or in a separate room.

“Cristy was great with our pup! It was our first time using Rover but she put our mind at ease and our dog looked very comfortable with her in the photos she sent. We will be using her again!”

“Andrea took amazing care of mars! She sent over tons of photos and was very flexible with my schedule. Mars felt very at home by the time I came to pick him up :) definitely planning on requesting Andrea in the future!”

“Catherine is a wonderful sitter. She really gets my Genie. I know I'm leaving my beloved girl in caring hands. I appreciate the daily updates with pics and videos. She keeps me well informed, which provides me comfort. Thank again!”

“Leslie and James were AWESOME!! Our boys really seemed to love being there. They made our boys feel at home with toys, doggie beds, walks, stroller rides, and sleeping with them. We received pictures and status updates daily. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting their fur babies treated right!”

“Amanda watch my pup over the 4th of July weekend and she took great care of him. She let me know how he did great during the fireworks and there were no issues. He came home happy and completely wiped out! I would totally book Amanda again.”
