About: A Home Away From Home for Your Dog 🐾 Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives. In May 2026, we said goodbye to our beloved Chihuahua-mix rescue, Shredderz. The hole he left in our hearts is enormous. We aren’t ready for another lifelong dog just yet, but we also know that our love for dogs isn’t going anywhere. So we found a way to keep dogs in our lives while giving them something wonderful in return: a true home away from home. We love to travel, and we’ve learned firsthand how difficult it can be to travel with a dog. And when your dog is family, traditional boarding just doesn’t feel like an option. That’s actually what inspired us to create The Doghouse Inn, a dog-themed vacation rental we owned from 2022–2025. We didn’t just allow dogs. We designed the experience around them. They had their own room, a literal dog castle made of beds, and a dog park in the backyard. 🐶🏰 We learned something during those years: dogs deserve to feel like welcome guests, too. Now we’d love to offer that same feeling to your dog in our home. When your pup stays with us, they’re not being tucked away in a kennel or treated like an afterthought. About: I have worked in a vet clinic setting that has allowed me to work with different types of animals of all ages. I have works from little dogs to big dogs to little cats to big cats. I always treat the animals like they’re one of us and make sure they are comfortable and happy. I always make time for my animals no matter the time I always work around and make sure everyone is happy. I’m open to work around my schedule in their schedule. About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.

About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. Whatever you need, I can do it! I can assure you that I will treat your pet as my own. I currently work full time at a law firm in downtown but I live in Sanford. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I am off on the weekends so I will be able to be there full time. Depending on the owner, I have put pets into their crates when leaving the house or at night for sleeping but I have also let them roam freely, if the owner allows it.

About: I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life and shared responsibility for taking care of them with my siblings. I now have my own fuzzball - Miso (Brown tabby cat). I also frequently watch my close friends, neighbors, and family's pets while they’re out of town or just need a little 'me' time away from their energetic gremlins - always being sure to give them lots of love while their person is away. I have helped my closest friend train her Husky/German Shepard mix puppy do simple commands like: sit, stay, paw and most importantly potty training. About: A Home Away From Home for Your Dog 🐾 Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives. In May 2026, we said goodbye to our beloved Chihuahua-mix rescue, Shredderz. The hole he left in our hearts is enormous. We aren’t ready for another lifelong dog just yet, but we also know that our love for dogs isn’t going anywhere. So we found a way to keep dogs in our lives while giving them something wonderful in return: a true home away from home. We love to travel, and we’ve learned firsthand how difficult it can be to travel with a dog. And when your dog is family, traditional boarding just doesn’t feel like an option. That’s actually what inspired us to create The Doghouse Inn, a dog-themed vacation rental we owned from 2022–2025. We didn’t just allow dogs. We designed the experience around them. They had their own room, a literal dog castle made of beds, and a dog park in the backyard. 🐶🏰 We learned something during those years: dogs deserve to feel like welcome guests, too. Now we’d love to offer that same feeling to your dog in our home. When your pup stays with us, they’re not being tucked away in a kennel or treated like an afterthought. They’ll be part of our home, our routine, and our day. We’ll give them attention, affection, playtime, cozy places to nap, and all the little comforts that help them feel secure while you’re away. Our quiet, safe neighborhood has sidewalks for easy walks, and there’s a park about a mile away. Our fenced yard also gives dogs plenty of room to stretch their legs and run some serious zoomies. 🐾 We have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and truly enjoy having them in our home.
