About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and believe that they have real feelings that should not be ignored. I have a tiny yorkie, Rissa, and a Pom puppy, Rambo. Your pet would be in very safe and loving hands while under my care. I am patient and kind, most dogs and animals will immediately be happy to be around me even if they are skittish. The majority become attached quickly and become my little shadows. :) I have been on Rover since June of 2015. In that time I have had 100+ bookings from different people and 50+ of these have booked more than once. I have watched over 100 different dogs and am very experienced in all types of pup personalities. These numbers do not include bookings from friends and neighbors who are not on the Rover website. I am over 30 years old and work from home. Your pup will have 24/7 supervision and attention. (Many pups enjoy supervising me work in my office) For safety, if I am out of the house, your dog would be baby-gated in the bedroom unless crate training is necessary or requested. If they get along with my dog and don't need to be separated, they can have free run of the house while I'm home. At night, they would have their bed or be crated in my room to sleep so they aren't lonely. If they can keep up and like to run, I will take them with me around the block as well! I also volunteer at TEARS animal rescue and want to make sure all animals are taken care of. What to bring: - Dog crate with blanket or bed - Dog food - Chew treats to keep them busy - Leash Do not bring: - Toys you care about a lot, the Roomba vacuum likes to hide them - Bowls, I have tons of bowls and don't want to mix yours up when I’m washing them
About: Hi there, I have worked in a doggy daycare for 2years, volunteered for a pet clinic for 1year, dog training on my own for going on 2years now. I have 2 big dogs, and 2cats! I have experience with shy dogs, anxiety dogs, leash reactive dogs too. Hi there! I am currently a stay at home mom with a one year old. If you need walks in the morning of early afternoon he will have to come with me but will stay in a stroller at all times! Otherwise I am able to be childfree for walks and any visits after 5:30pm, or after 12pm on Fridays, all day Saturdays and Sundays! I follow your instructions on how you want you fur baby to be treated. I send lots of pictures on walks and drops if I can. I love dog cuddles and playtime!
About: I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover for many years, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your pet. I treat every dog I care for with the same patience, attention, and affection I’d want for my own. I’m dependable, attentive to routines and instructions, and happy to provide walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, companionship, and plenty of attention while you’re away. I also know how reassuring it is to hear that your pet is doing well, so you can expect thoughtful updates and photos during every visit. Whether your dog is energetic and ready to play or would rather have some quiet company and belly rubs, I’ll take the time to learn their personality and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I work Monday through Friday from 8 AM–5 PM, but I have flexibility with my lunch break and can schedule midday visits as needed. I’m available for morning visits before 8 AM, midday walks or drop-ins, and evening visits after 5 PM. My weekends are much more flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of schedules. I’m happy to work with you to keep your pet as close to their normal routine as possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my priority. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any household routines. I’ll respect your home just as much as I respect your pet and make sure everything is secure before I leave. You can also expect dependable communication, detailed updates, and plenty of photos during each visit, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing.

“Brianna came and took our fur baby for a walk. She took adorable pictures and I love the description she left. It was raining when she came, and she still got him to potty and took the time to play with him. Thanks Brianna!”

About: I recently worked at a professional dog daycare, where I cared for and supervised dogs every day. My experience includes group play, handling dogs with different personalities and energy levels, monitoring behavior, and keeping dogs safe and comfortable throughout the day. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently have two Boxers of my own. I trained both of them and have plenty of experience with energetic, intelligent dogs who need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Through my work, I’ve been trained to read canine body language and recognize signs of excitement, stress, anxiety, overstimulation, and when a dog needs space. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and individual needs. I’d love the opportunity to give your pup one-on-one attention and provide the same thoughtful care I give the dogs I work with every day. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have open availability and can dedicate plenty of time to the pets in my care. I’m able to be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and sitting schedules, and I enjoy having the opportunity to build my day around each pet’s individual needs. In my home I have two very playful and friendly dogs! One likes to rough house and the other is gentle but I always keep an eye on them when they are playing together, around other dogs, and with other dogs that are not each other. I have a fenced backyard that has plenty of room to run around in!
“Great dog walker. Very flexible and answered right away. Joey loved her visit for his walk and she took tons of pictures which I appreciated. Would definitely recommend.”

“This was my first time using Rover, but I was going to some theme parks for 2 days and brought my dogs with me from out of town. I knew I couldn't leave them for hours without a potty break, and I have to admit I was anxious since this is the first time using a service like this, but Carli was awesome the entire way through! I'm super grateful to have the option for someone to come walk my dogs and I'm super grateful Carli was so communicative and my dogs were taken care of! I'm coming back to use the rest of my park tickets, and I will definitely book her again. Thank you Carli!!”

“Ava was great with our puppy Sadie, she took great pictures and was a great communicator! She was on time every day for the specific times we needed and our pup enjoyed the walks and the attention she provided. We be booking again when we need to!”

“Always attentive to Dunkin's body language!! Dunkin will be 14 Jan '27 and is slowing down just a lil and is more sensitive to heat/humidity. Addie keeps a watchful eye on him on their walks 😁🤗!”

“Morgan has been absolutely incredible with my two dogs. One of my babies has been sick and she has been so compassionate and patient with him during drop ins. She definitely eased my anxiety being away for the first time since he was hospitalized. I’d recommend Morgan to anyone looking for care for their dogs. Thank you for everything!”

“Peter was awesome! Our Jack Russell terrier Is super high energy and she loved him- great walks- and extra time was even spent with her to let her swim in our pool…. He really is a great dog walker! Very dependable and kind! I highly recommend Peter.”

Janelie was great! Because he is a Giant breed i was very nervous for someone to care for him. But she listened to all my instructions. She still came out while it was raining pretty hard. Thank you for your care and commitment! I will definitely be booking again!

She is so lovely with my dog, my dog have trust issues because he was abused in the past, and he is very anxious but with Julieth he felt ok right away. I totally recommend her for walking or boarding. When she walked my baby fur she was very gentle, followed all my instructions and I found my doggy happy after work.

With last minute vacation, we found Jackalyn and we love her and Chubbs adores her. Jackalyn is reliable, professional, and genuinely loves dogs. It's comforting to know that Chubbs is cared for like one of their own. The updates, photos, and attention to his needs give us complete peace of mind. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable to care for your furry family member, I highly recommend them. Chubbs absolutely adores his walks, and we are so grateful for the wonderful service

Sarah was so great with our big 90lb fur baby! Our dog can be intimidating to some and he is particular about who he likes. Sarah was a perfect fit! It was such a peace of mind to get photo and video updates while we were away for the day. Sarah went above and beyond in her care - even brushing his fur! Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
