About: I grew up always having at least one pet. The first chore I was ever assigned was actually taking care of our cat and dog (at the time) and I did that for a while. Around middle school I started dog-sitting for my parents and I’ve been doing that for quite some time now. I’ve never met an animal (that isn’t super skittish) that doesn’t love or at the very least ‘tolerate’ me. My dogs will follow me around the house or sometimes paw/bark at my door just to see me. Even when it comes to skittish animals (especially cats) they usually warm up to me very quickly. My grandma’s stray rescue cat is petrified of everyone but my grandma. After a week of staying over at my grandma’s she would walk up to me on her own and even sit in my lap. I’m free almost 24/7 except when I’m asleep. I’m currently searching for a job hence the very flexible schedule. I don’t mind late night visits or early morning, my sleep schedule is just as flexible if not more. I respect animals the same way you would people, although we don’t have verbal communication it’s very easy to tell what an animal is feeling based on their body language. I can be stern and assertive without being overly aggressive or anything of that sort. Additionally, I am very respectful of others spaces and homes. I believe heavily in treat others how you want to be treated, so I behave as such and I think that reflects in my pet-care and work ethic

My passion for animals comes through the way I care for them I work full but my daughter 15 and son 13 after school help me with the pets with whatever it needs to be done. About: Throughout the past few years, I've sat for several of my neighbors and friend’s dogs, from yorkies to pit bulls. This includes both walks and visits to provide food, water, and fun. Caring for my own dog, Charlotte, in recent years has given me experience in caring for senior dogs. This includes accommodating for hearing loss, blindness, low energy, and stomach problems. I am an incoming college student looking for a fun way to spend my free time. My current schedule is very flexible before I start classes. I am over 30 years old and work from home. Your pup will have 24/7 supervision and attention. (Many pups enjoy supervising me work in my office) For safety, if I am out of the house, your dog would be baby-gated in the bedroom unless crate training is necessary or requested. If they get along with my dog and don't need to be separated, they can have free run of the house while I'm home. At night, they would have their bed or be crated in my room to sleep so they aren't lonely. If they can keep up and like to run, I will take them with me around the block as well! I also volunteer at TEARS animal rescue and want to make sure all animals are taken care of. My apartment can accommodate your pet as well. I have extra bowls, a doggy bed, and toys just for them.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life and shared responsibility for taking care of them with my siblings. I now have my own fuzzball - Miso (Brown tabby cat). I also frequently watch my close friends, neighbors, and family's pets while they’re out of town or just need a little 'me' time away from their energetic gremlins - always being sure to give them lots of love while their person is away. I have helped my closest friend train her Husky/German Shepard mix puppy do simple commands like: sit, stay, paw and most importantly potty training. I do have experience with younger animals so I can help out with training and I of course have loads of patience, experience, and love to care for senior pets too! I have always loved being around animals, they’re such pure creatures that we are soo undeserving of a lot of times! Feel free to shoot me a message to discuss times and availability. Weekends I am typically completely free unless marked on my Rover Calendar! :)) I currently WFH so can be very flexible. I can work on the road, or simply bring my work with me where ever I go. Just looking to pick back up some side jigs - mostly ones I find joy in, and this is definitely a big one on my list! I have an apartment that is near a small dog park and other parks in the area as well. I have a younger cat that is still adjusting to dogs but doesn't mind keeping to herself on her kitty castle (cat tower/tree) or in a separate room.
