“Second time leaving my 2 dogs with Douglania and this time was for about 14 days. felt informed at all times. One of my dogs is diabetic and it’s not easy to feel comfortable leaving her with anyone but Douglania has been amazing and made us feel that they were in great hands. My other pup is a little odd with other dogs and they have done a great job socializing him with other dogs and kept sending photos and videos of how well they were all playing and behaving. About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and believe that they have real feelings that should not be ignored. I have a tiny yorkie, Rissa, and a Pom puppy, Rambo. Your pet would be in very safe and loving hands while under my care. I am patient and kind, most dogs and animals will immediately be happy to be around me even if they are skittish. The majority become attached quickly and become my little shadows. :) I have been on Rover since June of 2015. In that time I have had 100+ bookings from different people and 50+ of these have booked more than once. I have watched over 100 different dogs and am very experienced in all types of pup personalities. These numbers do not include bookings from friends and neighbors who are not on the Rover website. I am over 30 years old and work from home. Your pup will have 24/7 supervision and attention. (Many pups enjoy supervising me work in my office) For safety, if I am out of the house, your dog would be baby-gated in the bedroom unless crate training is necessary or requested. If they get along with my dog and don't need to be separated, they can have free run of the house while I'm home. At night, they would have their bed or be crated in my room to sleep so they aren't lonely. If they can keep up and like to run, I will take them with me around the block as well! I also volunteer at TEARS animal rescue and want to make sure all animals are taken care of. Monday through Friday, I'm available from 4pm until midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays, I'm available from 7am until midnight. I love to take dogs for walks. I take my dog for a walk every day to my apartment's dog run where we play for at least 30 minutes. If your dog is staying overnight with me, I can make sure to take your dog to the dog run when it's cooler, right before sunset. I can watch cats in my apartment, too.

“Second time leaving my 2 dogs with Douglania and this time was for about 14 days. felt informed at all times. One of my dogs is diabetic and it’s not easy to feel comfortable leaving her with anyone but Douglania has been amazing and made us feel that they were in great hands. My other pup is a little odd with other dogs and they have done a great job socializing him with other dogs and kept sending photos and videos of how well they were all playing and behaving. You can tell that she truly loves dogs by the way that she allows them to settle in on their own terms. She doesn’t push anything with dogs, and that allows them to fully be comfortable and trusting with her. We have a bit of a finicky and anxious dog so sometimes it’s hard to find the right fit, but kathryn was definitely it! In fact, we are booking her again in three days for a long weekend. About: I recently moved to the area and am a retired softball coach that owns a private practice working in sport psychology & mental performance. As you can imagine, marketing & finding new clients owning your own business takes time!! While making connections in the area, I thought back to how I made money as a kid… cue pet sitting! At the mere age of 8 I started to hustle by starting my own neighborhood dog washing business, and eventually this bloomed into being the first call any neighbor made when they were going away for vacation. On top of always having a variety of pets in my home (cats, dogs, reptiles, hedgehog, fish, etc.), I've picked up on a lot of the necessary skills needed to keep animals happy & healthy through diet, exercise, play, & affection. Pet sitting is a lot more than filling up their bowl and sitting on the couch watching tv- it's about being a temporary replacement for an animal's loved one while they are away. I currently have a VERY flexible schedule, I work from home so would be available to do any drop ins/boarding as necessary throughout the day. I currently live in a neighborhood with a ton of families that I see walking their pets daily! It allows for a lot of space to walk my home has a secure, fenced in back yard! I personally do have 2 cats in my home that are both good with dogs. I had recently introduced the kitten to my adult cat so have experience with introducing new animals to each other! In your home, I'd be sure to follow all instructions and keep your animal comfortable during your time away.
