About: I grew up always having at least one pet. The first chore I was ever assigned was actually taking care of our cat and dog (at the time) and I did that for a while. Around middle school I started dog-sitting for my parents and I’ve been doing that for quite some time now. I’ve never met an animal (that isn’t super skittish) that doesn’t love or at the very least ‘tolerate’ me. My dogs will follow me around the house or sometimes paw/bark at my door just to see me. Even when it comes to skittish animals (especially cats) they usually warm up to me very quickly. My grandma’s stray rescue cat is petrified of everyone but my grandma. After a week of staying over at my grandma’s she would walk up to me on her own and even sit in my lap. I’m free almost 24/7 except when I’m asleep. I’m currently searching for a job hence the very flexible schedule. I don’t mind late night visits or early morning, my sleep schedule is just as flexible if not more. I respect animals the same way you would people, although we don’t have verbal communication it’s very easy to tell what an animal is feeling based on their body language. I can be stern and assertive without being overly aggressive or anything of that sort. Additionally, I am very respectful of others spaces and homes. I believe heavily in treat others how you want to be treated, so I behave as such and I think that reflects in my pet-care and work ethic

“Dan did a wonderful job taking care of my three cats for the 11 days I was out of town. I have one diabetic cat that needs daily insulin injections and another cat that needs a pill daily. It is a challenge finding a sitter that will give medications. Dan was happy to take that challenge on. It isn't always easy for me to give them their medications, but for someone the cats just met it is even more of a challenge. Dan took that responsibility on and got their medications done every day and lived to tell the tale! When my litter delivery didn’t show up, Dan was kind enough to pick some litter up. The cats and I really appreciated that. Dan sent lots of information about how the cats were doing and lots of pictures of my fur babies. I felt they were well cared for. You can tell Dan loves animals and that made me feel secure in his taking care of my furry family. Dan is at the top of my list for pet care the next time I go out of town. About: I've been caring for animals of all sizes for most of my adult life. I spent several years caring for animals professionally at a pet boarding facility in Sanford. I also learned a lot about animal care while working as a receptionist in a veterinary clinic. I'm currently only working free lance for a delivery company and am able to dedicate the majority of my time to caring for your pets. It is important to me that your pet sticks to their regular routine while you are away. I always schedule a meeting before booking to take detail notes on your pets daily routine.
About: I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life! I enjoy being around animals and love to take care of them. I own two female German shorthaired pointers who have TONS of energy! And that’s what I love most about them. I know how important it is to meet all animals exactly where they’re at temperament wise. I truly enjoy being around animals…more than humans sometimes! I look forward to getting to walk or play with your fur babies! I work a hybrid job, so I am remote 2-3 times a week where I am fully home all day with my pups. On the days I go into the office, my partner comes home during lunch to let our dogs out. On weekends, I am home full time as well. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for activities! My own pups love to run around and play fetch back there. Dogs are allowed in furniture and to sleep in the bed in my house.

1st day back. At 10:40am I heard Gizmo meowing. He was sitting by the front door looking out. This was the time Caitlyn visited everyday. He was obviously looking for her. That pretty much says it all. She took great care of him and kept us informed every day.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful Catherine is - my cat Max loves her, and she is simply amazing with him. She always gives him so much attention and affection when she is caring for him. I love getting the pictures, notes and updates each time she drops in to care for him. Allison took excellent care of my pets - dropping in multiple times a day and even going above and beyond picking up after there mini house renovations and bathroom stops outside!
