“Elly was absolutely amazing with my 2 dogs. Great communication and my dogs loved her. She helped me out immensely with a barking issue I was having with one of them (just moved to a new place and 1 of the 2 was having some separation anxiety at night). She knew just what to do! I would definitely have hire her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I am well versed on various training, dog sitting, boarding and walking methods for our canine family members. Gained hands on experience of training and handling with my 11 year old GSD. I personally researched for years and only then successfully trained my current 10 month old GSD, using my other 11 year old GSD as a control. I will offer free consults to clients in need of repeat services in order to determine the tailored needs for your dog. Always willing to go above and beyond for my love of dogs. Excel with all dogs and utilize communication with the client in order to fully understand the specific qualities, needs and wants of the dog in order to organize and manage effective walks/boarding/training. I have been living in the area for over 20 years and know all of the dog-friendly parks or areas that provide a clean and safe environment offering an array of enrichment. Knowledgeable in training and recognizing animal body language used to establish positive communication with the dogs. I can not only improve the lives of the dog, but also clearly communicate and empower the owner with training tips to continue effective conditioning for a well-trained dog. My remote position of over 5 years as a Sr Mortgage Underwriter was recently moved into the office (Tampa) and decided to take time off. Therefore, I am available 24/7 and mainly focusing on the transition into the Dog Walking/Boarding/Training business. *HOUSE SITTING SERVICE: Active as a less expensive alternative to booking numerous Drop-In visits with multiple dogs. “Needed help with dog walking for the day while visiting family out of town. Stasia was friendly and responsive with getting everything set up. I received updates and pictures both times she walked our dog. I'll definitely use her services again when we're in town. Thanks Stasia!”

About: With years of experience as both a nanny and house manager, I provide reliable, detail-oriented care for pets and the home as a whole. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages, maintaining routines, administering medications, and handling unexpected situations calmly. My house management background means I go beyond basic pet sitting—I help keep your home running smoothly while you're away, whether that’s bringing in mail, watering plants, or ensuring everything is secure. Families trust me for my professionalism, communication, and ability to care for both their home and pets with the highest level of attention. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’m able to maintain your pet’s routine, provide regular check-ins, and be present for feedings, walks, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate both weekdays and weekends as needed. I provide care in your home to ensure your pet remains comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. With my background as a nanny and house manager, I am attentive to both pet care and home care details. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication, providing regular updates so you feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. Whatever you need, I can do it! I can assure you that I will treat your pet as my own. I currently work full time at a law firm in downtown but I live in Sanford. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I am off on the weekends so I will be able to be there full time. Depending on the owner, I have put pets into their crates when leaving the house or at night for sleeping but I have also let them roam freely, if the owner allows it.
About: We are a pet-loving household with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent attention and companionship throughout the day—something I currently do with my disabled dachshund, who is a big part of my daily routine. I was raised around dogs, and over time, I’ve grown to truly love and appreciate cats as well. My fiancé shares that same passion for animals—she can’t pass a dog without asking to say hello! She previously worked at a humane society, where she trained volunteers on how to safely and positively interact with animals, ensuring a rewarding experience for both pets and people. Between the two of us, we bring a balance of professional experience and genuine love for animals. We’re happy to care for your pets together or individually, depending on scheduling needs, and will always treat them like part of our family. We work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. We are happy to work with your schedule to make sure that your pet receives the care they need throughout the day. We are happy to work with you to develop a plan to care for your pet to minimize the stress for both them and you. We will also be very diligent in providing you communication and updates as you request.

I would love to help other pet owners during these processes. I love dogs! I am a young empty nester that spends weekends at the beach, lakes, and parks with my beautiful dog Giovanna Joy! We would love to welcome yours too to have fun with us in a loving , safe, clean, and cozy environment. I am very active with my dogs and have great knowledge of all parks and entertainment for dogs all around my area. I am very well located and enjoy great availability after 5 and weekends. Your dog will love me!
“Lori did an amazing job walking my dogs. They can be pretty hyper, but she was able to give all 3 of them good walks, both all together and individually. Lori sent me pictures of my dogs throughout her walks with them. I will definitely be having Lori walk my dogs again in the future.”

- 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
