âOur furry son Barrett had never been away from us until he stayed with Candace. We were a bit nervous, but things went great! Candace and Larry are wonderful people, and Larry is a great groomer. Barrett came home shiny and he smelled amazing! We highly recommend Candace and we will definitely be bringing our dog back in the near future.â

âLilliana is great. She is knowledgeable and patient. Our dog is very energetic. She's given us some good training tips, also. We're visiting from out of town and we've used her three times. She sends pictures and texts throughout his visit to keep us up on what he's up to.â

About: https://www.rover.com/sit/geethk04148 Use this to get $20 off your first booking. Iâve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember â fostering puppies and kittens, helping them find loving forever homes, and caring for my own pets over the years. I grew up with a gentle Labrador who will always hold a special place in my heart, and I now have a spirited 6-month-old Miniature Pinscher mix rescue who keeps me on my toes and fills my days with joy. My experience ranges from raising playful puppies and kittens to caring for older dogs and cats, and I understand the patience, attention, and consistency they need. Iâve even traveled multiple times with my own dog between Florida and other states, so I know how to keep pets comfortable and secure in different environments. While Iâm new to Rover and donât yet have reviews, I bring dedication, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every job. If trusted with your pet, Iâll treat them like my own â ensuring theyâre safe, happy, and cared for as if you never left. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. From regular walks and play sessions to cuddle breaks and feeding schedules, I can be there for your furry friend every step of the way. Their comfort and happiness will be part of my daily routine. I have a spacious yard where dogs can enjoy fresh air and playtime, safe for outdoor fun. For exercise, I can also take dogs on leashed walks around the neighborhood or to nearby pet-friendly areas. Inside my home, pets have a comfortable and safe environment with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I make sure fresh water is always available, follow their feeding schedule exactly, and give them lots of affection and attention. If caring for pets in a clientâs home, I respect their space and keep routines consistent â from walks and play to feeding and medication (if needed). I make sure your pet feels loved and secure until you return. Your petâs comfort and happiness are my top priorities â theyâll be treated like part of the family from the moment they arrive.

About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. I deeply believe that animals are caring intelligent beings. So much, that I started my vegan journey when I was a teenager. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm. There may be a couple of day out of the week in which I have more availability. I am also available for daycare/overnight boarding. Let me know if you are looking for a regular sitter. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. Itâs best to know your dogâs personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.
âMy goodness! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Xena is amazing. Helping people have a great experience with their dogs is her life. She is a trainer for trainers. I highly recommend her.â

About: I have 13+ years of experience as a vet tech, can handle your energetic 3 month old puppy to cuddle on the couch with your senior feline. I also have many years of experience with large animals. I am more then happy to give medications when needed. Keep your family member on a schedule. With being a vet tech those pets who need the extra care from being a diabetic, cardiac patient or other health problems I'm well educated to take care of them when you are away. My home is a pet home so you would find dogs and cats on the couches and in the bed at any given time. I also offer bathing, nail trims, ear cleaning. I believe our pets are our family members.
âEmillie is a dream pet sitter! This was my 5 month old Golden's first time being away from me. I had more anxiety than him, but Emillie put my mind at ease from the initial meeting through the day, and at pick up! Of everyone communicated as well as Emillie, this world would be a better and less confused place. Emillie kept me updated about every half hour with how Prince was doing, and I got wonderful photos too, which made me laugh and relax at the same time. At pick up, my boy was happy to see me but totally comfortable with Emillie snuggling him goodbye and he just laid down on the driveway, relaxed, tired, and happy while we talked about our next drop off. Emillie's two Goldens are beautiful and very healthy and happy. Her house is clean and well set up for dogs. I couldn't be happier and neither could Prince. I'm thrilled to have a go-to that's close by when my daughter has away games or whenever I need to be gone for longer periods of time and can't take my puppy.â

Fort Florida dog parents share their Rover experiences
I have been taking my puppy Chloe to Larry and Candace for daycare twice a week for the last few weeks. She was timid at first but they were patient and kind with her and now she has come out of her shell and really enjoys playing with her friends. She is so excited when I drop her off and that says it all!
