About: Hi! I’m Victoria, a local Sanford dog sitter and proud dog mom to Leo, my toy schnauzer. I provide a safe, loving home environment where dogs are treated like family—not just pets. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. I work remotely, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. Whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor breaks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized attention. I intentionally keep my boarding numbers low to create a calm, low-stress environment where every dog receives the care they deserve. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a walk and immediately after can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.

About: I’ve taken care of everything from Great Danes to Shih Tsu and numerous cats. Most of my clients are repeat customers. My passion for animals comes through the way I care for them I work full but my daughter 15 and son 13 after school help me with the pets with whatever it needs to be done. I’m free on the weekends to care for the pets. I live in a 3 floor townhouse. The senior pets stay in the first floor where my bedroom but they are free to go up and down the stairs as they please. The young ones in the second floor where then can run if they please. The pets can sleep on my bed, or around my bedroom or my sofa. I want them comfortable as possible.

About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.

About: **New clients, please read below!** I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have a 14 year old Shih Tzu of my own that I have cared for since I was a teen. I frequently dog sit for family & friends and I have experience with all kinds of breeds. In the past, I have cared for small and large breeds as well as senior dogs & puppies! A dog’s safety and well-being is my number one priority. New Clients: I cannot accept same day walks as I require a meet & greet! I currently work from home Monday through Friday. Due to my work schedule, the following is how I currently accept bookings; Drop-ins/walks: Midday or evenings (after 5pm) for weekdays. Weekends can be anytime. Boarding/day care: anytime, given that I’m available. I can be flexible, so if you need extra accommodations I can definitely work with you. A meet & greet will be required for any new clients to make sure we’re a good fit! I live in a pet friendly apartment in a gated community. There is a vast grassy area behind my building and I have a screened in balcony that is loved by many pups. I make sure to keep all pets within my view at all times. I can assure that your pet will always be safe & gets plenty of love and affection from me :)
