About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. I enjoy letting cats be themselves and slowly come out of their shell. I'd like to think I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable around me. I'm eager to help you with your pets. Monday through Friday, I'm available from 4pm until midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays, I'm available from 7am until midnight. I love to take dogs for walks. I take my dog for a walk every day to my apartment's dog run where we play for at least 30 minutes. If your dog is staying overnight with me, I can make sure to take your dog to the dog run when it's cooler, right before sunset. I can watch cats in my apartment, too.
About: I’ve been petting sitting since I was 13 from walking my neighbors dog while they were away for the day to feeding my best friends snake when she went on a 2 week vacation. There aren’t many animals I dislike and always open to taking care of new animals. I currently work in retail with a varying schedule but always off by 6 pm and every other weekend off. Most days I am in a 9-5 role but there are a few days that I open at 6 am. I am open to dog walking, house sitting at home or dropping in multiple times a day. I have multiple cats. I feed them a both wet food and dry food, scoop their litter boxes at least once a day with a once a week clean. I live in a small place, while I am not able to board I will check on your animal multiples times if needed, make sure they get plenty of enrichment and loves.

You can tell that she truly loves dogs by the way that she allows them to settle in on their own terms. She doesn’t push anything with dogs, and that allows them to fully be comfortable and trusting with her. We have a bit of a finicky and anxious dog so sometimes it’s hard to find the right fit, but kathryn was definitely it! In fact, we are booking her again in three days for a long weekend.
