About: i can handle all sorts of animals and breeds including a husky, wolves mean dogs, nice dogs, shy cats, hamsters and way more animal care. i am currently working part time so i have plenty of time to look after your lovely pets. anytime from 8am-2pm and anytime after 9pm. i have an automatic feeder and i give them fresh water twice a day. i can feed them as many times and walk them when needed.

About: I’ve taken care of everything from Great Danes to Shih Tsu and numerous cats. Most of my clients are repeat customers. My passion for animals comes through the way I care for them I work full but my daughter 15 and son 13 after school help me with the pets with whatever it needs to be done. I’m free on the weekends to care for the pets. I live in a 3 floor townhouse. The senior pets stay in the first floor where my bedroom but they are free to go up and down the stairs as they please. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.

About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I take my dog for a walk every day to my apartment's dog run where we play for at least 30 minutes. If your dog is staying overnight with me, I can make sure to take your dog to the dog run when it's cooler, right before sunset. I can watch cats in my apartment, too.

“Kim is the best pet caretaker on Rover or anywhere else, bar none. She's like a high-end innkeeper, animal whisperer, and nurse all wrapped into one very caring human being who will go the extra mile to create a personalized, happy, and healthy resort "vacation" for your pet. I'm always filled with dread when I board my special needs cat, Mochi. Pet sitters will usually humor you and tell you what you want to hear. Whether they follow through doing all the steps in a special needs regimen might be another story. I worry about this particularly when my cat is sick and in a poor emotional state after boarding. It's such a welcome change to be able to trust Kim to follow through on the long list of instructions for my cat's care. You know that she gets it because of her meticulous attention to every detail. She asks the right questions for clarification and she listens intently. You know that she can relate to whatever health concerns you may have and will take every safety precaution because Kim has walked in your shoes with her own cats. She has a wealth of animal tips, stories, and resources and is just as OCD as me in giving the best care to our animal friends. It says a lot when she inquired about Mochi's vaccination records. I wish that more Rover hosts did that because there is a real risk of disease and parasitic infection with every boarding situation, and at least Kim understands this. Her home was the definition of immaculate--every detail was perfect, and Mochi had a gorgeous bedroom to himself. Absolutely no worries about contagion here! Oh, and needless to say, Mochi was spoiled rotten in the cat's meow lap of luxury. Kim greeted my Mochi so warmly and gave him plenty of snuggles. Within no time at all, my cat was luxuriating on the bedroom's huge sleigh bed, belly-up and purring for more rubs. Best of all, Mochi came home, happy and healthy. This is the best boarding experience I could ever have dreamed up. Thank you, Kim and Brooke!”
About: I recently moved to the area and am a retired softball coach that owns a private practice working in sport psychology & mental performance. As you can imagine, marketing & finding new clients owning your own business takes time!! While making connections in the area, I thought back to how I made money as a kid… cue pet sitting! At the mere age of 8 I started to hustle by starting my own neighborhood dog washing business, and eventually this bloomed into being the first call any neighbor made when they were going away for vacation. On top of always having a variety of pets in my home (cats, dogs, reptiles, hedgehog, fish, etc.), I've picked up on a lot of the necessary skills needed to keep animals happy & healthy through diet, exercise, play, & affection. Pet sitting is a lot more than filling up their bowl and sitting on the couch watching tv- it's about being a temporary replacement for an animal's loved one while they are away. I currently have a VERY flexible schedule, I work from home so would be available to do any drop ins/boarding as necessary throughout the day. I currently live in a neighborhood with a ton of families that I see walking their pets daily! It allows for a lot of space to walk my home has a secure, fenced in back yard! I personally do have 2 cats in my home that are both good with dogs. I had recently introduced the kitten to my adult cat so have experience with introducing new animals to each other! In your home, I'd be sure to follow all instructions and keep your animal comfortable during your time away.
