“Cristy was so lovely and took amazing care of my senior pug! She was very welcoming and flexible to my scheduling adjustments, and sent the perfect amount of photo/video updates on my boy while I was away. He normally takes a minute to adjust to a new location, but he was totally fine and trusting with Cristy. She also has the sweetest little dog, and her cat is very calm and personable!”
“Sam and her family have been absolutely amazing with our dog. I cannot recommend her enough. We travel quite often and finding her has been such a huge relief knowing our baby is so well cared for. Another very positive thing is that there is always an open line of communication and updates throughout his stay with her.”

“Susann and her family took wonderful care of Gracie. She sent pictures of their adventures - including a 3 mile hike on a trail. Gracie slept quite a bit on the day I picked her up, so I know she had lots of fun and attention while at Susann's house.”

“So thankful for Christina and Oskar! They took great care of my baby Charley, gave us updates and sent pictures of how he was doing. They are very organized and detailed, making sure Charley had everything he needed and worked with him during his pickiness in eating.”

“Caroline and her family were very kind and patient with our husky, with it being her first time staying with someone else. She kept us updated on how our pup was doing with plenty of pictures. Definitely couldn’t recommend her more!!”
“So kind and a great communicator. Thank you for caring for Bonnie Bella with love. We look forward to seeing you in the future as our entrusted partner when my family and I are away.”

“Luke took care of our two little doggos and also my in-law’s dog. Though there was some complexity with drop off due to the home being in a gated community, Luke kept in touch and was quite flexible about adapting to changes in our schedule. We were traveling for a funeral and his kindness and accommodations were very much appreciated. The doggos came home happy and clearly well cared for.”

“MJ was amazing watching my pup, the photos proved she felt comfortable in her home, even playing with her doggies! Will definitely be contacting her for future sitting, and so should you!”

“Chopper had a great time with Sasha. He got to make a new friend which made his time so fun! This was Chopper’s first long stay away from home and I felt extremely confident that he was in good hands.”

“Lillian was absolutely AMAZING!!! My dog was with her 5 days and could not have been happier. Daily pictures sent once or twice a day, her house did not smell like dog, and het back yard was perfect for Baxter. I picked up a very happy, healthy and cery clean dog…she even gave him a bath. Shes the best!!”

“I am so thankful Sarah was able to watch my dog, Stella. She was incredibly knowledgeable and had a passion for pets. She sent many pictures and updates, which kept my mind at ease while I was away for 3 nights. Stella was in great hands and I would absolutely ask Sarah to watch her again!”

“Joanna is great. It was such a relief knowing our dog was in safe, loving, and attentive hands while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her service!”

“Andrea took amazing care of mars! She sent over tons of photos and was very flexible with my schedule. Mars felt very at home by the time I came to pick him up :) definitely planning on requesting Andrea in the future!”

“Laurie fit us in at the last minute and was wonderful. She communicates quickly, confirms times, and was willing to accommodate us. Lainey (0ur dog) is a social dog who loves being outside. With Laurie’s pack, she was happy. She came home and slept all day! Would definitely use again.”

“An amazing family to leave my furbabies with! They were attentive and welcoming to my boys, great pics and fun walks with them. Can’t thank them enough for the love and care.”

“Juan provided services for us for our nearly 1 month vacation overseas. We needed someone reliable, caring and attentive, Juan fit that hat perfectly. Thanks to Juan and his superb dog boarding we could be practically a world away and still get regular updates/pictures. He also took care of our newest addition to our family, our puppy Chewie who was not even 6months old and provided him loving care while also giving him structure to learn and grow. Thanks again we will be using Juan in the future.”

“Catherine was awesome! She was very communicative, sent plenty of photos and videos, and definitely spoiled my babies! She was a positive energy from beginning to end! My babies loved staying with her and was able to get comfortable within the first night of staying.”

“Susana was great to work with. She was so sweet to our puppy. I felt very comfortable with her watching him for a week. She sent daily pictures and videos. We will definitely be using her again! Overall a wonderful experience!”

About: I understand that every cat has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. Some want plenty of attention and playtime, while others prefer their space—and I’m happy to let your cat set the pace. I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, medications or other routines you provide. I’ll also spend quality time with your cat so they have companionship while you’re away, without forcing interaction if they’d rather relax on their own. I know leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be stressful, so reliability and communication are extremely important to me. You can expect updates and plenty of photos so you can relax knowing your cat and home are being well cared for.

“Brianna was wonderful. Felix felt super comfortable with her and that’s a huge thing for a cat and for us as parents. Everything we asked was taken care of by Brianna!”

“Morgan did a great job taking care of our outdoor neighborhood cats. She even managed to get pictures of them nearly every day. I can tell Morgan loves animals and genuinely cared about taking care of Vader and our sometimes porch cat Alexander.”

“Summer did a great job taking care of our two cats while we were gone. She was very responsive and made sure to send pictures showing all she had done. Definitely will book again!”

“Shirley is the best. Not only is she an amazing person overall, but she’s the best pet sitter I’ve ever had for my 4 kitty cats. I was shocked that my one cat, who is usually terrified of new people, let her pet him on the second day! She really has a way with animals. You can tell she loves and cares for them deeply. While I was gone I got daily updates and pictures most days. Shirley really went above and beyond to care for my cats. She went over twice a day and hung out with them, let them out on the patio (which is their favorite thing ever). She even helped take out our trash and brought our mail in, which she didn’t have to do. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!”

“Caitlin is amazing! She responds super fast, and I hired her for a couple of nights to stay with my nervous kitty. She was able to bond with him which is tough to do, and sent me pictures and updates while I was away. I highly recommend Caitlin for house/pet sitting!”

About: I love cats and small animals! My furballs have struggled with all sorts of medical complexities like diabetes, eating disorders, ear mites, congestion, cancer, and eye issues so I am well versed in what it takes to keep the small members of the household healthy! Back home I have a Mainecoon named Charcoal with lots of beautiful fur to take care of and a shorthair black cat named snowball that is a ball of energy more than anything! I miss spending time with them dearly. Taking care of your cats fills my heart just as much as it does yours!

“Joy took exceptionally good care of our 2 cats for nearly a week while we were out of town. She won over our very shy kitty with consistent kindness and her favorite treats. She didn't just feed and clean their litter boxes, she interacted with them, and kept them company. I will definitely call on her for our next out of town trip!”

About: Hi there! I’m Hailey — a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter based in Sanford, Florida. I’ve grown up with dogs of all kinds, from energetic Boxers and Labradors to gentle Shih Tzus, Golden Doodles, and even Pitbulls. I also have a sweet cat of my own who’s been part of my life for nine years, so I understand how much love and attention our pets need to feel safe and happy. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, and drop-in visits, always prioritizing your pet’s comfort and routine. I prefer to care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in a familiar environment. I’m also experienced in administering medications: topical, oral, and even injectable. You can count on me to make sure your pet’s health needs are handled with care. While you’re away, I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own: watering plants, cleaning floors, doing light laundry, and keeping everything neat and cozy for your return. You can count on me for reliable communication, regular photo updates, and genuine love for your furry family members. I’d love to meet you and your pets soon! 🐾 I am not currently working. I do drop in visits 4 times a day or I am able to spend the night with the pups. When I usually stay at the owners house I will have them write out instructions on how they want their animal taken care of and I will do just that as well as send pictures to make the owner feel more comfortable.

About: I’ve been around cats my whole life and have cared for family cats for years, so I know every cat has their own personality and how wonderfully bougie they can be! Whether they want to play, cuddle, or simply have their space, I’m happy to care for them on their terms. I’ll make sure your cat gets the love, attention, and routine they’re used to, and I’ll treat them like one of my own while keeping you updated with photos and messages.
About: I have worked in a vet clinic setting that has allowed me to work with different types of animals of all ages. I have works from little dogs to big dogs to little cats to big cats. I always treat the animals like they’re one of us and make sure they are comfortable and happy. I always make time for my animals no matter the time I always work around and make sure everyone is happy. I’m open to work around my schedule in their schedule. The care that I give all animals does not change. I care for them all equally making sure they are all comfortable and they feel safe in their home either if it’s in my place or theirs.
“I had to travel out of state for a week. Douglania dropped in at my house every evening as I had asked, to feed my cat Clove, change out her drinking water, clean her litter box and to play with Clove as well. While I was away I received many photos, videos and updates every day of Clove and I could tell Clove was very happy. It gave me peace of mind to know that Clove would be checked on every day and given some love. Douglania took great care of my cat Clove and I would for sure use her services again in future.”

“Douglania is an exceptional professional. Having used pet resort/daycare facilities, I MUCH more prefer the direct care of someone I can do a meet and greet with, someone I can feel out and know that person will have my 2 pups under direct care while our family is away. Every appointment with Douglania, we have not been disappointed! We will continue to use and recommend her to all of our friends. Thank you for taking such great care of our pups!”

I’m currently working as a dispatcher part time. I can stay with pets or can bring them home with me. We can walk 3 times a day and i can stay with them overnight too. “Rachel did a great job taking care of Charlie. He was calm when I arrived to pick him up. Rachel reported that he ate his dinner with no problem and didn't bark once. Setting up the appointment was easy as was communication. Rachel provided a calm, safe, orderly environment for Charlie to relax and feel at home. And that helped me to relax, knowing he was well taken care of.”

About: Hi! I’m Victoria, a local Sanford dog sitter and proud dog mom to Leo, my toy schnauzer. I provide a safe, loving home environment where dogs are treated like family—not just pets. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. I work remotely, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. Whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor breaks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized attention. I intentionally keep my boarding numbers low to create a calm, low-stress environment where every dog receives the care they deserve. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a walk and immediately after can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.
“Here's a revised version of your review with some enhancements for clarity and flow: --- Sasha was wonderful! I was initially nervous about leaving my dog with someone unfamiliar, but as soon as Sasha met him, she showered him with love, and he was very happy. He didn’t even notice when I left! I felt a huge relief knowing he was in good hands. Sasha was incredibly kind and even sent me pictures, which made me even happier. I would absolutely choose Sasha to care for my dog again.”

A dog’s safety and well-being is my number one priority. New Clients: I cannot accept same day requests as I require a meet & greet prior to booking! I currently work from home Monday through Friday. “First time, but it definitely won’t be our last! So glad that I could find somebody trustworthy and reliable to watch my Angel when we are out of town. I received so many pictures and updates and felt safe and relieved the whole time I was away. For reference, I have 105 pound great dane and and she had so much fun!”

“Sarah was absolutely amazing with Mia! She is highly communicative, kept me updated throughout the day, and sent lots of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Mia had an incredible day and came home happy and tired—which, as every dog owner knows, means she had a great time! Sarah also went above and beyond by accepting not one, but TWO last-minute bookings for me, which I truly appreciated. It’s clear that Sarah genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and Mia was so comfortable and happy with her. We’re both very happy customers, and Mia is already excited to go back tomorrow! 🐾🐾🐾 Thank you, Sarah! We highly recommend you to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional Rover sitter.”
About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.
About: I’ve taken care of everything from Great Danes to Shih Tsu and numerous cats. Most of my clients are repeat customers. My passion for animals comes through the way I care for them I work full but my daughter 15 and son 13 after school help me with the pets with whatever it needs to be done. I’m free on the weekends to care for the pets. I live in a 3 floor townhouse. The senior pets stay in the first floor where my bedroom but they are free to go up and down the stairs as they please. The young ones in the second floor where then can run if they please. The pets can sleep on my bed, or around my bedroom or my sofa. I want them comfortable as possible.
“Would definitely leave Meeko with Juan again, he sent videos throughout the day and was very accommodating to my schedule, also you cant beat the yard space that he’s got so that doggos can play freely 🙂”

“Rita made my first experience with Rover pleasant and seamless. She is very professional and easy to work with. She communicated with me all throughout the stay and really went above and beyond to reassure me that my fur-baby was in good hands.”

About: “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” - Anatole France. I am a full-time dog mom, that thrives from the happiness of a wagging tail. I have joined this community as I have found the anxiety of leaving my own animals often times overwhelming. So I wanted to provide service to allow others pets to feel loved, safe, and have a little fun. I have 2 fur babies of my own, that I have had since they were puppies. Our oldest queen is 12 year old senior dog and if she could talk she would tell you I never give up on belly scratches and endless snuggles. Then, we have our 7 year old spit fire who could play chase all day, make messes, have accidents, and still fall safe in to a ball of cuddles at the end of play. My range of care helps relieve the stress of traveling and working. You'll come home to thriving plants and happy pets. I have extensive experience in taking care of my own pets puppies, and senior dogs. My oldest dog has one eye and I had to nurture her last year during that process of recovery. So I am very patient and non-judgmental; at the end of the day they just want to be loved. I am no stranger to felines either. I have watched friends cats over an extensive period of time, and enjoy the different personalities that come with each new job. I thrive to love the animals as my own and meet their own personal needs. My schedule is flexible to work around the needs and desires of your fur-baby. I am a stay at home mom to a seven year old daughter. Pet care and house sitting is the perfect fit to our schedule as I have great flexibility. I am able to accommodate the pet/home owners needs in my schedule according to their regular routine, and even pop in for additional visits for those who are anxious. I provide care for pets in the pet owners home as I have 2 dogs of my own, one being a senior dog. I always make sure the water bowl is full first prior to any walks or feedings. I acknowledge the animal and gage what type of attention the pet enjoys. Taking care of a pet is not only about the bathroom breaks and the food but about providing companionship while the owner is away.
“Don’t even know what to say except THANK YOU! First time using rover and interviewed others before meeting Kim. Once I met her and her pups, I knew Hudson would be in great hands. She provided photos and updates throughout the day and made him feel like part of her family. Can’t wait for Hudson to have more play dates and sleepovers with his extended family ?”

About: I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover for many years, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your pet. I treat every dog I care for with the same patience, attention, and affection I’d want for my own. I’m dependable, attentive to routines and instructions, and happy to provide walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, companionship, and plenty of attention while you’re away. I also know how reassuring it is to hear that your pet is doing well, so you can expect thoughtful updates and photos during every visit. Whether your dog is energetic and ready to play or would rather have some quiet company and belly rubs, I’ll take the time to learn their personality and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I work Monday through Friday from 8 AM–5 PM, but I have flexibility with my lunch break and can schedule midday visits as needed. I’m available for morning visits before 8 AM, midday walks or drop-ins, and evening visits after 5 PM. My weekends are much more flexible, allowing me to accommodate a variety of schedules. I’m happy to work with you to keep your pet as close to their normal routine as possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine will always be my priority. “Julieth was amazing she came right when scheduled and took such good care of my babies. It’s so great to have someone reliable and clearly so in love with dogs to take care of my pups.”

About: While I may not have years of experience like some, my love for animals does not fall short. I have taken care of dogs, big and small. Some with dietary restrictions and rigid feeding routines and others with a more lax regimen. I have house sat/pet sat and stayed in the owner’s home on multiple occasions. I’ve taken care of four dogs of various sizes at once, done drop-ins to feed/change water and let the puppers out for friends and family members, and I’ve also stopped by to do something as simple as a quick walk. Whatever you need, I can do it! I can assure you that I will treat your pet as my own. I currently work full time at a law firm in downtown but I live in Sanford. I have a reliable car and I don’t mind driving. I can pet sit/house sit on weekdays but I have work so it would be morning care and evening/night. I can also take a midday break if needed. I am off on the weekends so I will be able to be there full time. Depending on the owner, I have put pets into their crates when leaving the house or at night for sleeping but I have also let them roam freely, if the owner allows it.
About: I've always felt more comfortable with animals rather than people. I've worked with horses off and on for years. I like dogs more than most people. I feel comfortable around dogs that many people are afraid of. I take a cautious approach to dogs and let them get comfortable with me before petting them. I enjoy letting cats be themselves and slowly come out of their shell. I'd like to think I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable around me. I'm eager to help you with your pets. Monday through Friday, I'm available from 4pm until midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays, I'm available from 7am until midnight. I love to take dogs for walks. I take my dog for a walk every day to my apartment's dog run where we play for at least 30 minutes. If your dog is staying overnight with me, I can make sure to take your dog to the dog run when it's cooler, right before sunset. I can watch cats in my apartment, too.
“I had a fantastic experience with Faviana! She was very sweet, punctual, and went above and beyond by walking my dog a bit longer when I was running late. She took my pup to the park, sent adorable pictures, and made the whole experience stress free and great. I’d highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve been the lucky owner of my rescued dog for many years and I know how hard it is to leave them at other’s care while traveling or at times of transition. I would love to help other pet owners during these processes. I love dogs! I am a young empty nester that spends weekends at the beach, lakes, and parks with my beautiful dog Giovanna Joy! We would love to welcome yours too to have fun with us in a loving , safe, clean, and cozy environment. I am very active with my dogs and have great knowledge of all parks and entertainment for dogs all around my area. I am very well located and enjoy great availability after 5 and weekends. Your dog will love me!
“If your pet needs care, you need Pedro!! I was blown away by his responsiveness, professional attitude, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond to help us out. Our dog ended up having some gastrointestinal issues that started right before Pedro came to help us, and he not only helped us clean up her messes, but stopped at the store to get pumpkin and rice. He truly went above and beyond, and was so nice about helping us out. He was very reliable and trustworthy, which we think is of the utmost importance when you’re trusting your pets to someone. I could not recommend him more highly!!”
About: I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life and shared responsibility for taking care of them with my siblings. I now have my own fuzzball - Miso (Brown tabby cat). I also frequently watch my close friends, neighbors, and family's pets while they’re out of town or just need a little 'me' time away from their energetic gremlins - always being sure to give them lots of love while their person is away. I have helped my closest friend train her Husky/German Shepard mix puppy do simple commands like: sit, stay, paw and most importantly potty training. I do have experience with younger animals so I can help out with training and I of course have loads of patience, experience, and love to care for senior pets too! I have always loved being around animals, they’re such pure creatures that we are soo undeserving of a lot of times! Feel free to shoot me a message to discuss times and availability. Weekends I am typically completely free unless marked on my Rover Calendar! :)) I currently WFH so can be very flexible. I can work on the road, or simply bring my work with me where ever I go. Just looking to pick back up some side jigs - mostly ones I find joy in, and this is definitely a big one on my list! I have an apartment that is near a small dog park and other parks in the area as well. I have a younger cat that is still adjusting to dogs but doesn't mind keeping to herself on her kitty castle (cat tower/tree) or in a separate room.

“Catherine was awesome! She was very communicative, sent plenty of photos and videos, and definitely spoiled my babies! She was a positive energy from beginning to end! My babies loved staying with her and was able to get comfortable within the first night of staying.”

“Im always so happy leaving my dog with Douglania, shes been taking care of our dog everytime we leave town for over a year. We have been doing day care aswell with her and my dog really believes thats her second home. My dog is alway happy when we get to douglanias house and also when i pick her up. Thank youu for taking care of my baby Cora. :)”

“This was my first time using Rover and a pet sitter. Brian was amazing. He sent me updates and pictures several times a day, and my pups looked very happy. The best part of Brian’s service is that he works from home so my pups were with him all day. It made me feel good knowing that my pups weren’t in a kennel all day like they would be in at the pet resort I used in the past. I highly recommend Brian. He’s the best!”

“Treasure has watched my dog, Trip several times and is great with him. Communication is easy and she always sends lots of updates and puts me at ease. Highly recommend!”

“Carina took great care of Binkie over the long weekend. She sent regular updates so I didn't have to worry about how he was doing and could just enjoy my vacation. Wouldn't hesitate to leave him with her and his new dog friends anytime :)”

“Ashley and Jacob took such great care of our dog, Wesley, over the long weekend! The updates and photos they sent gave us so much peace of mind—we loved seeing him playing hard and napping harder. We also accidentally mixed up our pickup time, and they were incredibly accommodating and kept Wesley a little longer without any issues. It's clear they genuinely care about the dogs they watch. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Ashley and Jacob again, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable Rover sitter!”

“Carmin did a wonderful job with our 11 year old dog, Poppy, over the Thanksgiving holiday. I really appreciated the extra time and care she took with our anxious doggy . She sent photos and updates to us that were very much appreciated. Thank you, Carmin, for your top notch care!”
