About: Hi! I’m a mom and a lifelong dog lover who has grown up around dogs my entire life. I truly have a heart for dogs and believe they deserve a safe, loving, and fun environment while their owners are away. I enjoy spending time playing with them, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. Your dog will be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, patience, and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am currently working part time so I am home most of the time, have lots of space and a yard for them to roam around and have fun! I have a fenced yard, patio and of course our home for your pets to feel comfortable wherever they want to be will take great care.
“Our Maya girl always gets excited for a good camp day at Emilie’s with her friends! We always we receive updates with pictures and communication to make it easy for us to know she’s in good hands while we’re away for the day🐶😊”

“Karla was fantastic, our dog absolutely loved her. She was able to accommodate us last minute and was very responsive. We loved the multiple photos she sent and could tell our dog was having a great time with her. Thanks again Karla, would 100% recommend you to anyone looking for a rover. 😁”

“We are so grateful for the incredible care our puppy Boone has received here at what we lovingly call "Harlan's Holler". From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond—not just watching him, but truly investing in his well-being. When Boone was sick, they treated him with so much compassion and gave us advice that helped us through a really difficult time. Honestly, we might not have made it through the challenges of raising our wild boxer puppy without their support. They’ve given Boone not only love, but also new skills—teaching him how to swim, helping with his manners, and making him feel happy and safe. It’s clear that this isn’t just a job for them; it’s a genuine passion. Knowing Boone is cared for by people who treat him like their own has been such a gift. We couldn’t recommend them more highly—they are kind, knowledgeable, and truly one of the best things that has happened for us and our pup. Boone absolutely adores them, and so do we!”

“Good communication pre visit. Was ready for Sadie’s stay and we felt comfortable leaving her. Her day went well and we will definitely reserve again if needed when visiting in the area. Thank you James and Leslie :)”

“It was the first time I left my baby with someone else to care for him. I was scared, but Ven took good care of Otto. She sent me videos of him. When I picked Otto up, he seemed happy. She's very kind and reassures you.”

“we left our sweet girl rodham with amber while we were on a day in universal during our vacation. i can’t say enough good things!! amber constantly sent photos, was intentional about introducing rodham to other dogs in a controlled environment, and stayed so communicative and flexible with my timing. i would use her again in heartbeat!!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 20 years and caring for dogs is truly part of my life. I understand their routines, personalities, and needs at every stage, from playful puppies to senior dogs. Friends and family have trusted me for years to care for their pets because I treat every dog like my own. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. My home is calm, clean, and perfect for dogs who need a stress-free environment. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or simply companionship, your dog will receive personalized care and attention. I currently have a part-time job, but I’m never away from home for more than 4 hours at a time. This allows me to give your dog consistent attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, daycare, and walks on both weekdays and weekends. Your dog will not be left alone for long periods, and I make sure they receive plenty of playtime, affection, and a structured routine. I live in a spacious home with a large fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore. Safety is my priority, so I always supervise outdoor time. Inside, dogs have a clean and comfortable space to relax. I can follow your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide.
About: Hi! I’m Victoria, a local Sanford dog sitter and proud dog mom to Leo, my toy schnauzer. I provide a safe, loving home environment where dogs are treated like family—not just pets. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. I work remotely, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. Whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor breaks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized attention. I intentionally keep my boarding numbers low to create a calm, low-stress environment where every dog receives the care they deserve. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a walk and immediately after can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.
“Magnolia was very prompt in responding and easy to work with. She took great care of my boy for my day away. Very pleased with the details of Rocco’s day and the cute snapshots of him enjoying the big spacious yard. I would definitely recommend and use her again!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Brittany! I reached out last minute, and she was incredibly accommodating. She has four beautiful and playful dogs of her own, and they got along wonderfully with Biggie—it was such a relief knowing he had friends to play with! Throughout the day, I received adorable photos of Biggie having a blast, which really put my mind at ease while I was at work. By the time I picked him up, he was completely worn out from all the fun—exactly what you want after a long workday! Her location is also super convenient. I was driving from Orlando to a meeting in Daytona, and she’s right off I-4, which made drop-off and pick-up quick and stress-free. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and dog-loving sitter. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I absolutely love working with dogs! I have been sitting on Rover for about 5 years now but have over 20 years of experience with dogs and all animals in general. There’s just nothing like getting to take care of a pup and bring a smile to their face. I know how stressful it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m there to help fill that gap. My home is very welcoming to pups of all kind! Your pup would be cared for by my partner Jacob and myself. Although I’m the primary caregiver, it’s nice to have an extra helping hand now and again! We live together with our two fur babies Iris and Phoebe. Iris is a Yorkie/Chihuahua mix and Phoebe is full bred Chihuahua. It feels like I’m always sitting another pup though, so it feels like we just have three dogs! I am home all day every day, which means that I am the perfect match for pups that are used to having a presence at home with them. I’m always ready to provide love and care to the pups that I’m watching, which includes tons of cuddles and exercise. Sitting is my full-time job, which means that I bring the same amount of professionalism you’d expect in any other job. I am quick to reply and am always happy to take pups last minute. My town is called Belmont Cragin. Its pretty quiet and peaceful as well. Your pup will LOVE my backyard, it's huge and completely fenced in. I live in a 4 bedroom house, so it is very spacious and very comforting. We have lots of toys and lots of doggy beds as well! When I’m not sitting, I like to be outdoors, biking, skating, walking and laying in my hammock in the summer! I read A LOT and I like playing video games. I am a very family-oriented person so I try to visit my grandma as much as I can. My dogs are my life, so my time tends to revolve around them. I am home 24/7 so your dog would always have someone around. Either we are hanging out on the couch, outside for a walk or in the backyard hanging out. My dogs have multiple dog beds and plenty of toys. They hang out with us almost all day long and always have access to water. I feed them twice a day almost at the same time everyday.

Lili is THE absolute best there is. If you want your baby to feel right at home, get personalized attention (if that’s what they need), come home exhausted from playing, fed, pooped, and happy, then look no further!! Lili isn’t just a dog sitter to us, she’s FAMILY! I don’t know what I would do without her. Honestly. Tanner knows as soon as we turn onto her street, and gets SOOOO excited! We have used other hosts, and the result is not the same…not all hosts are created equal!! There have been times with others when Tanner doesn’t even want to get out of the car. With Lili, I feel bad picking him up because I know he’s having the best time and living his best life! She has been flexible, caring, understanding, and gone out of her way MANY times, just to make Tanner (and me) happy! So, of you’re looking for a host whether it be consistently or just one time, you will NOT be disappointed!! I cannot say enough great things about her! Be like Nike and JUST DO IT!! You won’t regret it!!

Brittany was fantastic with Skye! She kept us updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind while we were at the springs. Skye came home happy and well cared for. We would definitely book with Brittany again! Highly highly recommend!

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
