“It was my first time leaving my Irish Setter with Linda. I am new to the area and based on her rating reviews I felt she would be a great match. Needless to say I was not disappointed. It appears my Olivia got the best care. I received regular updates and pics. Linda shows genuine love and care for pets under her care. I intend to use her services again in the near future! Thank you! 🐕”

“Leon is such an awesome dog sitter!! He is our go-to for daycare and weekend extended stays for our super high energy dog. He also was super willing to take on our (also high energy) Australian shepherd puppy, and took great care of him!”

“Harlan did a great job today with my Yorkies. They are exhausted now for the play and joy they had all day. Thank you very much for your kindness and professionalism. Highly recommended. 😃”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, starting with growing up in a house full of cats and litters to help care for. Over the years I’ve gotten to work with so many different animals—ferrets, bunnies, dogs, puppies, kittens, horses, goats, chickens—you name it. I’ve always been the one my sister called to watch her pets, so taking care of different personalities just became second nature to me. I also train dogs on the side, including big breeds like Cane Corsos, so I’m comfortable with dogs that need structure or a little extra understanding. Honestly, I just have a huge love for animals, and any pet I’m watching gets treated like one of my own. I’m currently not working right now so I have all the free time for your fur babies! I have very open availability. IM always up for snuggles and playtime! When I’m caring for your pets in your home, I treat them like family and follow their routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I give them plenty of love, attention, and reassurance, and I always respect your home and your space while I’m there. My goal is for you to come back to a happy pet and complete peace of mind.
“Lucy was excited to go to Emily's for doggy daycare and that put a lot of relief in me. I know Lucy is well taken care of and definitely a lot calmer when she comes home. Thank you Emily!”

About: I myself have a high energy husky mix and do well with high energy dogs who need walks and a backyard to run around in while you’re away! I’m currently waiting to go back to school and not working at the moment. My entire daily schedule is based on my dog currently… I’d love to add yours to the mix! In my home, I’ve created a dedicated 10×20 air-conditioned Florida room that serves as the primary dog space. It’s designed for comfort and peace of mind, with plenty of room to relax without access to household hazards. All furniture in the space is pet-friendly, and dogs are welcome on the couch so they can settle in comfortably. The room connects directly to a screened-in porch and a large fenced yard, allowing for safe indoor–outdoor flow. I also complete most of my schoolwork in this space, so it doubles as my office and ensures the dogs are rarely left on their own.

About: I have 13+ years of experience as a vet tech, can handle your energetic 3 month old puppy to cuddle on the couch with your senior feline. I also have many years of experience with large animals. I am more then happy to give medications when needed. Keep your family member on a schedule. With being a vet tech those pets who need the extra care from being a diabetic, cardiac patient or other health problems I'm well educated to take care of them when you are away. My home is a pet home so you would find dogs and cats on the couches and in the bed at any given time. I also offer bathing, nail trims, ear cleaning. I believe our pets are our family members.

About: I have been the manager of a doggy daycare & boarding facility for over 12 years near Orlando. Went to college for dog behavior & psychology. Finally bought an acre and moved back to my home town of DeLand recently. I built kennels in a room of my home and am ready to start a boarding business in the town I love. 💜 I have tons of experience in all kinds of dogs from behavioral issues to medical needs and everything in between. I speak dog and have a deep understanding of what they need. My roomate and I work opposite schedules so our dogs are rarely home alone for more than 2 hours. I still currently commute to Orlando everyday to continue my career as the manager of a dog daycare & boarding facility. If your dog needs to come to work with me I can easily accommodate. I have an acre of property with a fully fenced yard. In my spare bedroom I built 7 4ft kennels to feed your dogs separately as well as accommodate any anxiety, destruction, or females in heat. I am a friendly, down to earth person that LOVES dogs I will provide quality and loving care for your furbaby! Hi, my name is Kathy Smith. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 1981 when I enrolled in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I met a Florida boy and never left Florida. We got married in 1985 and started our family. We raised 2 boys and now our furbabies are our at-home kids 😊 My husband and I have always been animal lovers and at one time had quite a “farm” going with horses, a pot-bellied pig, goat, cats and, of course, many dogs. After going "furbaby-less" for a few years, in 2018, we brought home our first Siberian husky, Rusty, a chocolate red, wooly. Well, huskies are like Lays potato chips...you cannot just have only one. Rusty has brought so much joy to our lives. Therefore, in 2019 we added another husky to our family. Koda, is such a unique boy. He is an Agouti and, in the beginning, it was like having a different dog every month as he went thru his color changes. Well, 3 is better than 2, right?? After being on a waiting list for 2 years, May 2021, we added Oakley to our pack. He is a black and white pie-bald. They each have their own unique personalities! Rusty is scared of my sneezes :) Koda demands belly rubs and Oakley is like a cat, sleeping on the back of the couch. My reason for becoming a dog sitter is quite simple…to provide quality, loving care for dogs while being away from their owners. A few years ago, we needed to board our boys and couldn’t find a place that we trusted to watch our “kids” while we were away. We ended up driving them to our breeder located 1 ½ hours away. We did not feel comfortable with boarding facilities located on a busy road. Our resort, country setting is the perfect location for your baby to spend vacation. For 16 years, I owned my own business, building custom water features and creating paradise one yard at a time. This required me to be away from the house every day. Now I spend everyday home with my furbabies!! I have retired from building water features and am now a full time "Dog Mom". Since, I dog sit full time, I am home with the dogs all day. We go outside to play throughout the day in our large fenced in yard. Then, relax in the house. Let me take care of your best friend! Whether it's for the day, while you work or multiple days for vacation, rest easy knowing that your dog will have the absolute best care during their stay. I will spoil your furbaby as if he/she is my own! All pups must be crate trained for their safety. Your furbaby will have free range of the house, but must be in a crate while unsupervised. From time to time, I will need to leave the house to run errands and all pups will spend some downtime napping in a crate. Overnight stays will require sleeping in a crate. We have three Siberian Huskies and know that they tend to be escape artists. Our property is completely fenced in. In addition, the doggy yards have additional fencing. Therefore, we have a double fenced yard. We take every precaution to keep all pups within the doggy yards, but, in the event that a Houdini escapes, we have a perimeter fence to contain them. For this reason, our gates stay closed at all times. When you are dropping off or picking up, we will open the gate for you to drive into the property. We offer curbside service at the front door for drop off and pick up. We are very experienced with huskies. Our boys (Rusty, Koda & Oakley) are very friendly and love dogs of all breeds and sizes. Rest assured that your furbaby will fit in and have the best vacation during their stay here.
“Alice is the best! This was my first time using Rover and I am so happy that I chose Alice. It was great doing a meet-n-greet to make sure our dog was a fit with Alice & her pup. I got lots of updates and pictures of our little Peanut throughout the day. It's also great to see how many times he was walked, fed, peed and pooed during the sitting. It put me at such ease to know that Peanut was in good hands and had a good time. Alice took care of him like he was one of her own. We will definitely book with Alice again!”
