“We are so grateful for the incredible care our puppy Boone has received here at what we lovingly call "Harlan's Holler". From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond—not just watching him, but truly investing in his well-being. When Boone was sick, they treated him with so much compassion and gave us advice that helped us through a really difficult time. Honestly, we might not have made it through the challenges of raising our wild boxer puppy without their support. They’ve given Boone not only love, but also new skills—teaching him how to swim, helping with his manners, and making him feel happy and safe. It’s clear that this isn’t just a job for them; it’s a genuine passion. Knowing Boone is cared for by people who treat him like their own has been such a gift. We couldn’t recommend them more highly—they are kind, knowledgeable, and truly one of the best things that has happened for us and our pup. Boone absolutely adores them, and so do we!”

“Fantastic experience! They took such good care of Remi. Huge yard with lots of running space for play. It really is a paradise for dogs and people. They have a ton of insight and experience with dogs. They have it down to a science. Fun and safe environment for everyone. Remi had so much fun! Thank you so much Leon.”

“First time puppy mom, first time Rover user with that said while puppies can’t talk i can tell based on how happy he was to see Laurie on each day he had a great time . Would definitely recommend and have already booked his next stay!”

“Linda was wonderful! We so appreciate her calm and gentle way with pups! Winnie can be a little nervous with new people but Linda was a pro. We will definitely return to Linda and Dickens!”

“Highly recommended! Michael and his family took wonderful care of Mambo. His wife was especially great with him, and Mambo became very attached to her, which says a lot about how comfortable and loved he felt. Their children were also very sweet with him. They have a beautiful, spacious home with a nice yard, making it a great place for dogs. I was very happy with Mambo’s care and will definitely use My again. 100% recommended! 🐾❤️”

“First time leaving my Irish Setter with Emily. She made me feel very comfortable that my Olivia was in good hands. It seems. My pup was quite content having been spoiled a bit and having had playtime. I received pics and updates letting me know and showing that Olivia was well taken are of. I most definitely will be bringing her back if they will have my rambunctious doggie back. Thanks Emily!”

About: I work from home so your pup will receive continuous attention and playtime. Personal pet owner of up to 4 dogs at a time. As a RN I have no problem administering your dogs medications, including injections. Daycare/boarding includes walking your pet and possible doggie park on the weekends if you are comfortable with that. After recently losing 2 members of my pack, I decided to spoil and love on other peoples pets. Most of my best friends are dog owners! I prefer a meet and greet before boarding your pet. My greys are friendly and once they do some sniffy sniffs they are good. If your dog likes to mark I do have belly bands to use while in the house.
“we left our sweet girl rodham with amber while we were on a day in universal during our vacation. i can’t say enough good things!! amber constantly sent photos, was intentional about introducing rodham to other dogs in a controlled environment, and stayed so communicative and flexible with my timing. i would use her again in heartbeat!!”

About: Hi, we’re Samantha & Joel, an experienced multi‑pet caregiver team based in De Leon Springs. We’ve been caring for pets on Rover since 2017, and what started as a side job has turned into work we feel genuinely honored to do. We know handing your keys and your animals to someone else can feel vulnerable. You’re not just paying for walks, litter scoops, or food bowls; you’re choosing who your pets will rely on when you’re not there, and that choice matters to us. Our approach stays consistent and straightforward: no rotating sitters, no rushed care, no random faces. Just familiarize people with your pets so they can get to know and trust them over time. We’re exceptionally comfortable in multi‑pet homes, mixed cat‑and‑dog households, and with anxious or sensitive animals. Between training experience and years of house sitting, we’ve cared for nervous rescues, seniors who need meds, cats who prefer slow, choice‑based interactions, and small or aquatic pets with precise routines. We meet each pet where they are, using structure, enrichment, and patience to reduce stress instead of forcing them to adapt to us. Our families tend to be easygoing, communicative people who want care that’s personal and predictable, not rushed or transactional. If that sounds like you, we’d love to set up a meet-and-greet and start building a routine for your pets. Most requested services: multi‑pet house sitting and cat‑heavy homes. We’re easygoing and communicative, and we’ll always be honest about what we can safely handle. Pet care isn’t a side job for us – it’s part of our weekly rhythm. We live in De Leon Springs and build our schedule around house sitting and drop-ins, especially for families and snowbirds who travel. When we’re caring for pets, they’re our primary focus: meals and meds on time, routines followed, and daily check-ins sent to you. This lets you enjoy your plans without wondering if anything is being rushed or forgotten. We provide a calm, training-informed environment where pets feel safe, understood, and respected. With dog-training experience, we read body language, reinforce routines, and prevent stress through structure, enrichment, and patient introductions. For cats and other species, we take a slower approach. We let them come to us, build confidence at their own pace, and feel secure through consistency. We often recommend multiple drop-ins before long trips, especially for shy or anxious pets, so we’re familiar faces before you leave. Whether we’re doing drop-ins or house sitting, we always do a final check to make sure pets are secure, litter boxes/yards are safe, and everyone has settled comfortably before bed. Safety is never rushed; it’s built through trust and repetition. 🐾 Safe, consistent care designed with training knowledge and emotional comfort in mind.
“Lili was phenomenal! Her house is set up perfectly for shy/slow to warm up pups. She sent just enough pictures that I wasn’t worried. We got our pup back in a good mood, and exhausted like he played hard all day.”

“We absolutely love Daniel and his mom Yvonne! Amazing people 🙏 Baxter is so happy to come for doggy day care and when he finishes, He has a good night of sleep! Very trustworthy Dogsitter ❤️”

“Emillie is a dream pet sitter! This was my 5 month old Golden's first time being away from me. I had more anxiety than him, but Emillie put my mind at ease from the initial meeting through the day, and at pick up! Of everyone communicated as well as Emillie, this world would be a better and less confused place. Emillie kept me updated about every half hour with how Prince was doing, and I got wonderful photos too, which made me laugh and relax at the same time. At pick up, my boy was happy to see me but totally comfortable with Emillie snuggling him goodbye and he just laid down on the driveway, relaxed, tired, and happy while we talked about our next drop off. Emillie's two Goldens are beautiful and very healthy and happy. Her house is clean and well set up for dogs. I couldn't be happier and neither could Prince. I'm thrilled to have a go-to that's close by when my daughter has away games or whenever I need to be gone for longer periods of time and can't take my puppy.”

“Maeve came home happy and tired from a full day of play during her daycare stay with Suhas & Shruthi. They were reliable, attentive to Maeve’s needs, took her out on several walks during the day, and sent me several adorable photos & videos throughout the day. I highly recommend!”

“Magnolia was very prompt in responding and easy to work with. She took great care of my boy for my day away. Very pleased with the details of Rocco’s day and the cute snapshots of him enjoying the big spacious yard. I would definitely recommend and use her again!”

About: Hi! I’m a mom and a lifelong dog lover who has grown up around dogs my entire life. I truly have a heart for dogs and believe they deserve a safe, loving, and fun environment while their owners are away. I enjoy spending time playing with them, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. Your dog will be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, patience, and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am currently working part time so I am home most of the time, have lots of space and a yard for them to roam around and have fun! I have a fenced yard, patio and of course our home for your pets to feel comfortable wherever they want to be will take great care.

All dogs need to be current on their vaccinations (including Bordetella) and flea/tick preventative. All adult dogs need to be spayed or neutered. Please send me a picture of your dog’s shot record through the rover app. For your dog’s safety, I do separate dogs while they are eating, when I am away from home and at. I only accept crate trained dogs. Overnight boarding is $37 for adult dogs and $49 for puppies. The puppy rate is charged for any dog up to 12 months old. This is for a 24-hour period. I am a friendly, down to earth person that LOVES dogs I will provide quality and loving care for your furbaby! Hi, my name is Kathy Smith. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 1981 when I enrolled in Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I met a Florida boy and never left Florida. We got married in 1985 and started our family. We raised 2 boys and now our furbabies are our at-home kids 😊 My husband and I have always been animal lovers and at one time had quite a “farm” going with horses, a pot-bellied pig, goat, cats and, of course, many dogs. After going "furbaby-less" for a few years, in 2018, we brought home our first Siberian husky, Rusty, a chocolate red, wooly. Well, huskies are like Lays potato chips...you cannot just have only one. Rusty has brought so much joy to our lives. Therefore, in 2019 we added another husky to our family. Koda, is such a unique boy. He is an Agouti and, in the beginning, it was like having a different dog every month as he went thru his color changes. Well, 3 is better than 2, right?? After being on a waiting list for 2 years, May 2021, we added Oakley to our pack. He is a black and white pie-bald. They each have their own unique personalities! Rusty is scared of my sneezes :) Koda demands belly rubs and Oakley is like a cat, sleeping on the back of the couch. My reason for becoming a dog sitter is quite simple…to provide quality, loving care for dogs while being away from their owners. A few years ago, we needed to board our boys and couldn’t find a place that we trusted to watch our “kids” while we were away. We ended up driving them to our breeder located 1 ½ hours away. We did not feel comfortable with boarding facilities located on a busy road. Our resort, country setting is the perfect location for your baby to spend vacation. For 16 years, I owned my own business, building custom water features and creating paradise one yard at a time. This required me to be away from the house every day. Now I spend everyday home with my furbabies!! I have retired from building water features and am now a full time "Dog Mom". Since, I dog sit full time, I am home with the dogs all day. We go outside to play throughout the day in our large fenced in yard. Then, relax in the house. Let me take care of your best friend! Whether it's for the day, while you work or multiple days for vacation, rest easy knowing that your dog will have the absolute best care during their stay. I will spoil your furbaby as if he/she is my own! All pups must be crate trained for their safety. Your furbaby will have free range of the house, but must be in a crate while unsupervised. From time to time, I will need to leave the house to run errands and all pups will spend some downtime napping in a crate. Overnight stays will require sleeping in a crate. We have three Siberian Huskies and know that they tend to be escape artists. Our property is completely fenced in. In addition, the doggy yards have additional fencing. Therefore, we have a double fenced yard. We take every precaution to keep all pups within the doggy yards, but, in the event that a Houdini escapes, we have a perimeter fence to contain them. For this reason, our gates stay closed at all times. When you are dropping off or picking up, we will open the gate for you to drive into the property. We offer curbside service at the front door for drop off and pick up. We are very experienced with huskies. Our boys (Rusty, Koda & Oakley) are very friendly and love dogs of all breeds and sizes. Rest assured that your furbaby will fit in and have the best vacation during their stay here.
“Alice is the best! This was my first time using Rover and I am so happy that I chose Alice. It was great doing a meet-n-greet to make sure our dog was a fit with Alice & her pup. I got lots of updates and pictures of our little Peanut throughout the day. It's also great to see how many times he was walked, fed, peed and pooed during the sitting. It put me at such ease to know that Peanut was in good hands and had a good time. Alice took care of him like he was one of her own. We will definitely book with Alice again!”
