Emily is so friendly and communicative. She sent lots of pictures of our puppy and kept us updated throughout the day. We love that she has so many animals and so much space for our little guy to play. He came home good and sleepy after a fun day! I would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone!

Linda was wonderful! We so appreciate her calm and gentle way with pups! Winnie can be a little nervous with new people but Linda was a pro. We will definitely return to Linda and Dickens!

About: I am a devoted pet enthusiast with a heart as big as my love for dogs. For over a decade, I've immersed myself in the world of canine care, cherishing every wagging tail and sloppy kiss along the way. My passion for our furry friends knows no bounds, spanning across all ages and breeds. With a gentle touch and unwavering patience, I have honed my skills as a dog trainer, guiding numerous pups through obedience training and behavioral challenges. Whether it's teaching a rambunctious puppy to sit or helping an older dog master new tricks, I approach each furry student with compassion and understanding. I am a teacher but after work hours my life revolves around my dogs. I have 2 friendly Belgian Malinois ready to play if your pet would like. If not I am more than happy to crate and rotate. I am more than happy to come into your home and pet sit for you if your dog would do better at home. During the summer this will be my full time job so your dog will hardly ever be alone. I am more than happy to play and walk them whenever they would like and offer them lots of cuddles.

First time, but it definitely won’t be our last! So glad that I could find somebody trustworthy and reliable to watch my Angel when we are out of town. I received so many pictures and updates and felt safe and relieved the whole time I was away. For reference, I have 105 pound great dane and and she had so much fun!

About: Hi! I’m a mom and a lifelong dog lover who has grown up around dogs my entire life. I truly have a heart for dogs and believe they deserve a safe, loving, and fun environment while their owners are away. I enjoy spending time playing with them, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. Your dog will be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, patience, and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Someone will always be home. I work part time and my husband works from home. Latest pickup time we accept is 9pm unless arranged beforehand. Your pet will be treated like part of the family and receive lots of love, attention, and personalized care. I have a fully fenced yard where they can safely play and explore, as well as a covered patio where they can relax and enjoy the fresh air. Whether they're staying in my home or I'm caring for them in yours, I'll do my best to keep them comfortable, happy, and following their usual routine.

What a wonderful experience for my big boy. He had a wonderful time. This family keeps a clean house, things are orderly, and they really have a great setup to make sure my dog had a safe and enjoyable experience. I appreciated the pics and texts.

Emillie is a dream pet sitter! This was my 5 month old Golden's first time being away from me. I had more anxiety than him, but Emillie put my mind at ease from the initial meeting through the day, and at pick up! Of everyone communicated as well as Emillie, this world would be a better and less confused place. Emillie kept me updated about every half hour with how Prince was doing, and I got wonderful photos too, which made me laugh and relax at the same time. At pick up, my boy was happy to see me but totally comfortable with Emillie snuggling him goodbye and he just laid down on the driveway, relaxed, tired, and happy while we talked about our next drop off. Emillie's two Goldens are beautiful and very healthy and happy. Her house is clean and well set up for dogs. I couldn't be happier and neither could Prince. I'm thrilled to have a go-to that's close by when my daughter has away games or whenever I need to be gone for longer periods of time and can't take my puppy.

Candace and Larry took wonderful care of my dog Roger during his daycare stay. They sent lots of updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated and made me feel very comfortable knowing he was in good hands. They were both very kind and friendly, and it was clear that Roger was well cared for and happy while he was there. I would highly recommend Candace and Larry to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Fantastic experience! They took such good care of Remi. Huge yard with lots of running space for play. It really is a paradise for dogs and people. They have a ton of insight and experience with dogs. They have it down to a science. Fun and safe environment for everyone. Remi had so much fun! Thank you so much Leon.

About: Hi! I’m Victoria, a local Sanford dog sitter and proud dog mom to Leo, my toy schnauzer. I provide a safe, loving home environment where dogs are treated like family—not just pets. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. I work remotely, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. Whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor breaks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized attention. I intentionally keep my boarding numbers low to create a calm, low-stress environment where every dog receives the care they deserve. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a walk and immediately after can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.

About: My love for animals started when i was a little girl. I grew up on a farm that had multiple dogs, cats, bunnies, you name it. I am open to any kind of dogs or cats, no matter the age or size. I am willing to work around my schedule to accommodate you in any way possible. My care for pets grows more and more each day. I can understand how hard it can be to find someone you can rely on to tend to your pets needs and wants. Not only are they pets, they’re also considered family. Their needs will be tended to if i’m given the opportunity to do so.

About: I work from home so your pup will receive continuous attention and playtime. Personal pet owner of up to 4 dogs at a time. As a RN I have no problem administering your dogs medications, including injections. Daycare/boarding includes walking your pet and possible doggie park on the weekends if you are comfortable with that. After recently losing 2 members of my pack, I decided to spoil and love on other peoples pets. Most of my best friends are dog owners! I prefer a meet and greet before boarding your pet. My greys are friendly and once they do some sniffy sniffs they are good. If your dog likes to mark I do have belly bands to use while in the house.

Irene is a rescued dog who has been with us for over a year. She’s naturally skittish and gets stressed easily, so finding the right person to care for her was very important to us especially after the loss of our beloved Sophie, who was with us for 14 years. Before choosing a sitter, my husband and I carefully reviewed several Rover profiles, and Rita’s immediately stood out. We were drawn to her empathy and experience with rescue dogs and those with medical needs. After a meet-and-greet that went very well, we felt confident giving it a try. Over the past few months, Irene has been in Rita’s care several times, and each visit has only reassured us. We can see that Irene is becoming more comfortable, which speaks volumes about Rita’s patience and compassion. She keeps us updated with pictures throughout the day and always sends a detailed report card afterward, which we truly appreciate. Rita is kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of the dogs she cares for. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver for their beloved pet. 🐶

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Pine Lakes

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 1,665 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Pine Lakes. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Pine Lakes commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,665 sitters in Pine Lakes, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
