“It was my first time leaving my Irish Setter with Linda. I am new to the area and based on her rating reviews I felt she would be a great match. Needless to say I was not disappointed. It appears my Olivia got the best care. I received regular updates and pics. Linda shows genuine love and care for pets under her care. I intend to use her services again in the near future! Thank you! 🐕”

“Having Leon care for Captain during late hours so we can enjoy an outing and not worry about my special needs pet removes all my worries and allows me to relax into our activities without that little voice wondering if Captain is ok. Anyone who faces similar concerns can know that they can go enjoy life and their pet will be enjoying time with Leon with calm and love and attention until you arrive. Thank you, Leon!”

“First time puppy mom, first time Rover user with that said while puppies can’t talk i can tell based on how happy he was to see Laurie on each day he had a great time . Would definitely recommend and have already booked his next stay!”

“So glad I found Douglania! Just moved here and needed a new daycare for my dog and she has made my dog so happy and comfortable! And has eased my mind while I’m at work. She is now my weekly go to!”

“Looks like my Daisy Mae is very happy! When I picked her up she looked really relaxed and wagging her tail, but she was barking and I think she was telling me why does she need to go home now! Lol she met new friends and that’s exciting and was well behaved. I brought her for day care before her week long stay and I see she is going to be fine. Alexander was amazing with her, sent pictures, and provided details on her day. He is professional and friendly. It is much appreciated.”

“Carmin was a superb Doggy Day Care host. I can see why she's booked all the time! Aside from the dogs enjoying themselves, she's a great communicator—always prompt in returning messages, and sending lots of photos, as well. We hope to see her again—if she has an open date!”

About: We have had pets my entire life. Presently we have 2 dogs in our home. A senior dog (Walker hound/lab mix), Maximus, and a 5 year old beagle/lab mix, Luna. They love to have company! We have a large, fenced in yard for them to play in all day. Presently my home is available for overnight stays. As long as your dog is other pet friendly, they are welcome! We can accommodate crates also. The fenced in yard is available at all times. But your pet is also welcome in our house. We can use your dog beds or crates also.

“Highly recommended! Michael and his family took wonderful care of Mambo. His wife was especially great with him, and Mambo became very attached to her, which says a lot about how comfortable and loved he felt. Their children were also very sweet with him. They have a beautiful, spacious home with a nice yard, making it a great place for dogs. I was very happy with Mambo’s care and will definitely use My again. 100% recommended! 🐾❤️”

“Candace and Larry took wonderful care of my dog Roger during his daycare stay. They sent lots of updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated and made me feel very comfortable knowing he was in good hands. They were both very kind and friendly, and it was clear that Roger was well cared for and happy while he was there. I would highly recommend Candace and Larry to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

About: Hi! I’m Victoria, a local Sanford dog sitter and proud dog mom to Leo, my toy schnauzer. I provide a safe, loving home environment where dogs are treated like family—not just pets. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. I work remotely, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. Whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor breaks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized attention. I intentionally keep my boarding numbers low to create a calm, low-stress environment where every dog receives the care they deserve. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a walk and immediately after can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.
“Dennis has been great with my 3 month old Chocolate lab puppy. Romeo really seems to enjoy being with him. I greatly appreciate his patience when deal with a puppy and flexibility to accommodate my change in schedule as an educator. Thank so very much.”

“What can I say about Kim? She was accommodating of my last minute request for doggie daycare for a couple hours. Very responsive and quick about replying back. There's a certain ease and comfort for me and my dog, Emma when you get to know Kim. Rest assured that your beloved fur-member will find fulfillment (mentally and physically) when you book with her. We ♥️ you, Kim. Glad we finally found you.”

“Alexus was able to accommodate Sammy on short notice for a day stay. This was the first time I needed to leave him in awhile so it was the first time I met Alexus. I immediately liked her demeanor which is very calming. Her home is lovely and clean and she allows pets in home which is good especially in warmer humid weather. She took Sammy on several walks. I was very rushed that day, late dropping Sammy off and picking him up. I would like to spend more time with Alexus next time I book!”

“Kaitilin took great care of Nandor! She send plenty of pictures and videos throughout the day which I appreciated. She was also super responsive. I know Nandor was in great hand with her!”

“***** that's 5 more to make 10. Charli and her family-the human and furry kind-far exceeded my expectations! Several videos and updates. She worked hard to help my somewhat new rescue come out of her shell...and was beyond successful! She speaks our language! By the time I got back after 8hrs, Athena was conflicted about whether she wanted to stay or go. She has a gift to be cherished! Thank you!”

About: Hi, we’re Samantha & Joel, an experienced multi‑pet caregiver team based in De Leon Springs. We’ve been caring for pets on Rover since 2017, and what started as a side job has turned into work we feel genuinely honored to do. We know handing your keys and your animals to someone else can feel vulnerable. You’re not just paying for walks, litter scoops, or food bowls; you’re choosing who your pets will rely on when you’re not there, and that choice matters to us. Our approach stays consistent and straightforward: no rotating sitters, no rushed care, no random faces. Just familiarize people with your pets so they can get to know and trust them over time. We’re exceptionally comfortable in multi‑pet homes, mixed cat‑and‑dog households, and with anxious or sensitive animals. Between training experience and years of house sitting, we’ve cared for nervous rescues, seniors who need meds, cats who prefer slow, choice‑based interactions, and small or aquatic pets with precise routines. We meet each pet where they are, using structure, enrichment, and patience to reduce stress instead of forcing them to adapt to us. Our families tend to be easygoing, communicative people who want care that’s personal and predictable, not rushed or transactional. If that sounds like you, we’d love to set up a meet-and-greet and start building a routine for your pets. Most requested services: multi‑pet house sitting and cat‑heavy homes. We’re easygoing and communicative, and we’ll always be honest about what we can safely handle. Pet care isn’t a side job for us – it’s part of our weekly rhythm. We live in De Leon Springs and build our schedule around house sitting and drop-ins, especially for families and snowbirds who travel. When we’re caring for pets, they’re our primary focus: meals and meds on time, routines followed, and daily check-ins sent to you. This lets you enjoy your plans without wondering if anything is being rushed or forgotten. We provide a calm, training-informed environment where pets feel safe, understood, and respected. With dog-training experience, we read body language, reinforce routines, and prevent stress through structure, enrichment, and patient introductions. For cats and other species, we take a slower approach. We let them come to us, build confidence at their own pace, and feel secure through consistency. We often recommend multiple drop-ins before long trips, especially for shy or anxious pets, so we’re familiar faces before you leave. Whether we’re doing drop-ins or house sitting, we always do a final check to make sure pets are secure, litter boxes/yards are safe, and everyone has settled comfortably before bed. Safety is never rushed; it’s built through trust and repetition. 🐾 Safe, consistent care designed with training knowledge and emotional comfort in mind.
