Emily does an amazing job with our cat. We’ve booked her repeatedly. Our cat loves her, which she is very picky about who she socializes with. We had such a wonderful experience with Emily our first-time dog sitter! She cared for all four of our dogs over the weekend and did an amazing job. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive and made us feel comfortable. We really appreciated that she took the time to do a meet-and-greet before the stay so everyone could get acquainted. Throughout the weekend, she kept us updated and sent pictures of the dogs, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she genuinely cared for our dogs and wanted to make sure they were happy and comfortable. When we got home, all four dogs were happy, relaxed, and worn out—which was the best sign that they had a great weekend! 🐾❤️ We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative sitter. Our pup, Daisy, seemed very happy when I picked her up. She got to explore outside and came home tired. We got several photos from her stay.

Emily truly knows dogs! We left our 8 month Beagle with her for 2 weeks. Emily sent pictures of our puppy every day. We could see she was having a blast playing with the other dogs everyday. I dog got the attention and exercise she needed everyday. We will use Emily in the future!
I love that I can bring Murphy to stay with Emily whenever I need it. He gets so excited when he sees her. That warms my heart. I feel so comfortable leaving him there. She's amazing.

Schedule
I’m a stay at home Mom on a small hobby farm, so pet care is part of our daily routine already. We do potty breaks multiple times per day, and offer lots of play and snuggles. We go on some family adventures locally, but rarely travel, so have lots of availability. Pets are, and always will be, a huge part of my life! They are family.

Safety, trust & environment
At our house: 2 fenced yards (one for big dogs, one for small dogs). We have 2 small dogs. Dogs who come to our house for services need to get along with other dogs, because we often have multiple dogs for daycare and/or boarding at once. We also have a 10 year old daughter, so your pets need to get along with older kids. Special needs pets can be kept separated as needed. All of our pets are current on vaccines/flea and tick prevention/deworming. Lots of room for play time in the yard and snuggles on the couch. We also have chickens, snakes, a raised pond and a couple of horses, so lots of fun things to see and smell! Strongly recommend your pet is also current on vaccines and parasite prevention. Current proof of rabies vaccination is required. At your house: whatever care you want, we will make it happen! I cannot offer any services to medium, large or giant breed dogs with human or dog aggression/reactivity. Angry little chihuahuas (and other little grumpy dogs) are fine, though. We have one, too! 😉

A typical day
Running, sniffing and barking around the farm! Long games of fetch and zoomies in the yards. Cozy couch snuggles. There’s always something interesting to do here. We often take our own dogs down the block to Barkley Square dog park for social visits.
