“As a first time Rover users, we were not 100% sure about using the services. But Lisa and Myranda were simply great and super friendly since the beginning. Their quick responses to messages and scheduling meet n greet with them and their dogs made us decide to confirm the booking right away. Our 2 goldendoodles had a wonderful time with them. Thank you.”

“This place is everything a dog owner wants for their pet while they’re away. The secure location that’s super pet friendly and where your dog will be treated like one of their own. My dog has stayed multiple times at this location. It’s a place that I feel secure, leaving my fur baby long periods of time. Highly recommended, I will continue to use these two gentlemen who work is a great team, providing the best care for my doggy. If you’re looking for a piece of mine at a perfect price for your fur baby, they have you covered! The whole yard is configured to be a sort of miniature Dog Park with the dogs needs as a priority!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of my boy Coco! He looked super happy and relaxed when I got back, which says a lot. I could tell he was well-fed, walked, and given lots of attention. I really appreciated the updates and pictures—it made being away from him so much easier. You clearly treated him like one of your own. Would absolutely recommend and would love to book again!”

“Sam, thank you and your family for taking such good care of Ivy and Diva last weekend. They were in a “home away from home”. I sure appreciate the photos and the check/ins too. I am so relieved to have found you. Looking forward to next time!”

“We can’t recommend Cristy enough as a dog sitter! From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, and showed such care for our two pups. During our recent holiday trip, we had an unexpected 7-hour flight delay, and Cristy went above and beyond to help us out. She kept us updated the entire time, which gave us peace of mind knowing our dogs were in good hands. Even though we’ve now moved 30 minutes away, Cristy will always be our go-to sitter. Her consistency and kindness really set her apart. Thank you, Cristy, for always being so reliable and caring — we truly appreciate everything you do for us and our pups!”

“Chomski literally sniffed at the door and cried after Xena dropped him off the next morning! He had an awesome time at her place. She kept me informed with videos and communicated anything that I needed to know. Will FOR SURE be bringing my pups back to Xena.”
“Wow! What a great experience for my four dogs and very stress free for us as pet owners. Kathy is amazing and kept us updated with texts and photos. We now have a family friendly place for our dogs during our future trips.”

“It was our first time having a dog sitter for daisy, and I couldn’t recommend Susann highly enough. Susann and her family took wonderful care of our anxious furbaby. She was understanding and calmed her anxiety as soon as we left daisy in their care. Susann went above and beyond to ensure daisy was comfortable and happy, providing daily updates with pictures. She walked daisy everyday twice along the trails and daisy had a wonderful time! Lots of cuddles and playtime. It was such a comfort knowing she was loved and taken care of. Thankyou for your incredible care and for giving us peace of mind while we were away. We are so grateful!”

About: I work from home so your pup will receive continuous attention and playtime. Personal pet owner of up to 4 dogs at a time. As a RN I have no problem administering your dogs medications, including injections. Daycare/boarding includes walking your pet and possible doggie park on the weekends if you are comfortable with that. After recently losing 2 members of my pack, I decided to spoil and love on other peoples pets. Most of my best friends are dog owners! I prefer a meet and greet before boarding your pet. My greys are friendly and once they do some sniffy sniffs they are good. If your dog likes to mark I do have belly bands to use while in the house.
“This was my first time booking with Jim. I had a great experience. Jim had a meet and greet before the stay which made me feel comfortable to meet him and see where Finley would be staying. Jim watched Finley for three nights and took great care of him. He was very responsive and sent photo updates. I'll be booking with Jim again and would highly recommend him.”

“We cannot say enough nice things about Caroline and they way she and her family interacted with our puppy during his stay. She was great at keeping us posted as to how he was doing and she sent many pictures every day which put us at ease being away from him. Will not hesitate to leave Beau with her again in the future.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Orange City
It was our first time leaving our cats, so we were naturally a little nervous. Laurie was absolutely wonderful! She kept us updated throughout their stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear they were well cared for, and they came home happy and relaxed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely book with Laurie again. Highly recommend!

Asking you to watch Nami is the biggest compliment I can give you, because I only trust Nami with the best".It’s clear she loved staying with you so I could enjoy my trip without worrying & I didn't worry for a second". Thank you for all the pictures as well... Be prepared for my next trip 😆 because she's staying with her "other" mommie & papa!

Abigail was awesome! When we first met, she knew all the right questions to ask and we felt confident that our dog, Taylor, would be safe and happy in her care. We dropped her off and upon pickup she gave us a detailed summary of how everything went and how well behaved Taylor was. She told us a few stories of the interaction between Taylor and others and we were completely satisfied with the entire process. Great job, Abigail!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
