“Ryan was awesome. Firstly her house and yard couldn’t be more perfect for a dog to enjoy a stay. She was also very nice and accommodating to our dogs needs. It felt like Tillie was with family and cared for as if she was Ryan’s own dog. We were also provided with many updates and pictures during her stay. I would highly recommend booking with Ryan and I won’t hesitate to book with her again next time we need someone to watch Tillie.”

“Muy amables y atentos con nuestras mascotas. Responsables. Respondían los mensajes en un tiempo considerable y envían updates con fotos. Definitivamente recomendables.”

“I will never be able to tell you how much appreciation and gratitude I have for Michael. I was worried at first, being that I have two pit-mix dogs, one high energy and the other high anxiety. He was assuring and knowledgeable about being able to care for both of my babies. He also showed this through pictures and quick responses. Can you believe he is actually a licensed dog trainer? He reassured me and calmed my worries of using the boarding services for the first time. I will be contacting him again and 100% recommend him for all services on Rover! Michael, Thank you again for treating Tito and Canela like your own 🙏🏼🩵 Sincerely, Lorena & Liz”

“I don’t even want to say how AMAZING Jenni is because selfishly I want her to always be available to babysit our dog!lol I have never felt so comfortable, so quickly with a dog sitter. She and her kids truly love your animals like their own!”

“I loved the care my dogs received. They were constantly sending me photos, videos, and updates. The dogs went on walks and ran around in their yard. I truly plan to leave them with them every time I need pet care. I loved the service. Thank yo”

“Kristen is absolutely the best sitter for my chihuahua. She took photos and texted me every day while I was away. My dog Rosa loved staying with her and was a little disappointed when I returned from my trip to pick her up from Kristen's house. I am so happy to have found Kristen and will definitely have her again to care for my dog. Rosa will be extremely happy, also! :)”

“Very nice and caring person. My buddy had a blast staying with her. Very punctual with the pick up and drop off. Sends pics and updates. Our Falkor was in great hands. We will be using her again.”

“We brought our dogs by before their stay, and they loved having the large backyard to run and play in. Although there was a small language barrier, communication was still easy. She also sent us pictures to keep us updated, which we really appreciated. Such a nice couple to trust with your dogs while you’re away!”

“Greatest sitters for my very scared of new experiences chihuahua. This couple was so responsive and kind. I don’t travel much, so I’m always hesitant about leaving her with strangers. This couple made me feel like Abby and I are family. Such a load off my mind and I was able to enjoy my trip.”

“Christie is awesome! Loved the open line of communication that was established from the start and also being updated with how Missy was doing thoughtout her stay. Will definitely be a repeat client!”

About: I work from home so your pup will receive continuous attention and playtime. Personal pet owner of up to 4 dogs at a time. As a RN I have no problem administering your dogs medications, including injections. Daycare/boarding includes walking your pet and possible doggie park on the weekends if you are comfortable with that. After recently losing 2 members of my pack, I decided to spoil and love on other peoples pets. Most of my best friends are dog owners! I prefer a meet and greet before boarding your pet. My greys are friendly and once they do some sniffy sniffs they are good. If your dog likes to mark I do have belly bands to use while in the house.

“I would definitely recommend Robin! She took great care of Lulu and made sure she was comfortable during her stay! She sent updates everyday and was very responsive.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Tracy! This was my first time boarding my dog & I was nervous. But She made the process from start to finish wonderful! She took the time to get to know my pup! She was very professional and thorough, taking time to answer all my questions. Even doing an advance meet n greet! Her communication was great, as she gave updates throughout our vacation. When our dog got home he was so tired from all the love, snuggles and play time! We give her 5 stars all the way!!”

“My puppy absolutely enjoyed her boarding, she cried on her way home when I picked her up. Susan and her kids took great care of my puppy. She sent pictures and updates multiple times daily. I will absolutely be using her again.”

“Austin and his family were absolutely wonderful with Baxter! They took amazing care of him, and the children were so incredibly kind, they even built Baxter a fort to keep him comfortable and safe during the stormy days. I loved getting regular updates and photos, and it was clear Baxter thoroughly enjoyed his stay.”

“Caroline kept Koda for a week and sent pictures and videos at least once a day. Koda takes a little while to adjust to a new environment, which means he didn’t eat at first. Caroline went to the store and bought him chicken to add to his food, which got him eating. Not only did Koda have a fenced in yard to run around, but they also went on walks. I would recommend Caroline and will book her in the future knowing Koda will be well taken care of.”

“Sarah was absolutely amazing with our 2-year-old dog! We were away on a long vacation, and she kept us updated regularly with messages and pictures, which gave us peace of mind. She was very accommodating to our dog’s needs, and when we returned, our dog was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. You could tell she had been in great hands. I would definitely trust Sarah again and highly recommend her!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - De Leon Springs
Dennis did such a wonderful job with Daisy. I completed the reservation for a friend who needed care for his ESA cat while he was at work. Both of us were shocked at how loved and safe Daisy felt. She warmed right up to Dennis and she's normally afraid of other people. He was flexible, professional, and an all-around good guy. I know that we'll book Dennis again with CONFIDENCE if we need a place for Daisy to stay!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
