“Mckenzy took excellent care of Scout this past week! I was not worried a single moment while I was gone. Her communication is top notch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a professional sitter in the area!”

“Tracy and her family were fantastic watching our dog Cooper while we were out of the country. She constantly sent us updates and photos and let us know what Cooper was up to that day, which we really appreciated. It was a very open line of communication and also she was very flexible when it came to drop off and pick up time. We would definitely use Tracy and her family again and would 100% recommend them!”

“Sarah was great with our two dogs and was so nice! We will definitely use her again in the future. She sent lots of pictures throughout the stay and was flexible on drop off and pick up times.”

“We will definitely be booking with Carol again! She took fantastic care of our dogs, and she sent photo updates multiple times during their one night sleep over. She instantly made us feel comfortable, and we are thankful to have found our new dog sitter”

About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover and proud pitbull owner, so caring for dogs—especially big breeds—is something I genuinely love and feel very comfortable with. I have hands-on experience with larger, strong dogs and regularly care for a 70lb Cane Corso puppy, so I understand how to handle high-energy, powerful pups with patience and confidence. You can also expect lots of photo updates while you’re away—I know how important it is to feel connected and reassured that your dog is in good hands 🐾💛 I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, including afternoons and evenings. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, so your dog will get consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. My fiancé is also home most of the week while pursuing his bachelor’s degree, so there is usually someone home to provide extra supervision, care, and attention. I’m also open to last-minute bookings when available. I have a large, fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time, along with extra leashes, collars, and an extra-large crate for visiting dogs if needed. My home is a 3-bedroom space, which allows me to easily separate dogs when necessary to ensure everyone feels comfortable and stress-free. I also have additional crates available for safe rest time or if your dog is crate-trained. For exercise and enrichment, I love taking dogs on long walks at Reed Canal Park around the lake, and I have a reliable vehicle for safe transportation. I closely follow your dog’s routine, monitor behavior carefully, and provide regular photo updates so you always feel confident your dog is in great hands.
“Victoria is amazing with my dog. And my dog adores her! Last time Victoria watched my dog, my dog got so excited just to see her house. She loves staying there and Victoria provides excellent care. Highly recommend!”

About: I have always loved dogs. I have one of my own and he bring so much joy to me. I think when people own their own dog they realize they aren’t just pets they really are part of the family . I feel like I can add an extra set of care be able to make them feel like they’re at home and be personal. These are a part of your family so they should be treated like a family member. I’m currently in school but pretty much have an open schedule. I might have one or two shift shifts during the day, but I’m available after four every single day and then on the weekends all day. Like i mentioned prior i have 2 dogs at home so i am use to the playing making sure they are happy and keeping up with them. I also have realized they are very different from each other so it’s important to adjust to how they would want things and there own space
“Jennifer was absolutely perfect! I had a last minute change in plans and she was very accommodating in watching my pup last minute. Her communication was quick and she sent plenty of photos during my dogs stay with her. Plenty of walks and cuddle time, Clover came back very happy. If I'm back in the area, I'll be re-booking with her first!”
“She was great with Rocco. Very easy to communicate with and made sure we got pictures while we were away. She even let him keep a toy he enjoyed while with her which he hasn’t let go since we got home. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Ashley was wonderful taking care of my dog. She kept me up to date on how Bella was doing and sent me photos as well. She was a pleasure to deal with, my dog had a great time, and I will definitely utilize her again.”

“Gianna was amazing! She was very welcoming of Sadie and took great care of her. She treated Sadie like she was one of the family. I would highly recommend Gianna for your pet!”

About: I have been pet sitting for friends and family for 7 years. I lives with a golden retriever for 6 months and took him on daily walks. I get along well with everyone and put safety first! I also worked for a company the last year that sells dog park equipment, there were about 5 dogs on the office daily and I would make sure they went out when they notified me they had to go, keeping their water bowl full. I run my own health and wellness business from my home and online. We are relocating soon so I am looking for any and all extra work where I can continue to work my business. Right now I’m flexible the whole day as I am working from my phone with a few in person visits. I like to give lots of love to the pets, I make sure they have water at all times in their bowl. I like to treat them with ice cubes as a treat on a hot summer day (if they are big enough!) I also like to make sure I know what their signs are that they need to go out. Reading their energy and needs is a quality trait I have.

“Barbara was great with our dog Zoey. Her communication was terrific with many updates and pictures. The total experience was wonderful and would not hesitate to use her again. Highly recommend.”

“Olivia was absolutely wonderful with my Teddy. She was incredibly loving, attentive, and flexible throughout the entire experience, which made everything so much easier and stress-free for me. You can truly tell she and her family genuinely care about the pets they watch and treat them like their own. One thing I especially appreciated was how consistently she kept me updated with pictures and videos of Teddy, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Seeing how happy and comfortable he was meant everything to me. Olivia was also extremely accommodating, as I needed to extend my booking an extra day because I was out of town and could not make it back at the originally scheduled pick up time: this was a lifesaver for me. I highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter. Teddy was clearly loved and well cared for the entire time.”

“Cheryl was amazing as usual! Teddy has the best time when he goes to stay with Cheryl. I’ve used her numerous times and Highly recommend her. She’ll love your fur baby.”

I had a couple of times where I had to book a last minute stay for Bowie and Steve always accommodates my requests. It is also reassuring how Steve updates me with a lot of pictures and knowing that Bowie is making so many doggy friends! Thank you again, Steve and Paula!

Our dog Max was very happy at Madelyn's place. Madelyn was very accommodating to help us pick Max up for short "day-trips" while we were on vacation (at a place that didn't allow pets). This arrangement let us have the best of both worlds! We would recommend her without reservation.

Kristen was able to accommodate our last minute request for a two night stay for Piper. Upon arriving at their home, PIper pulled us right to the door and was so excited to see Kristen and Mike, further assuring us that they are the perfect people to watch our dog. A short note and picture from Kristen arrives daily making us smile. This was Piper's second stay with Kristen and we couldn't be happier!
We left our small Chihuahua with Robin and could not have been more pleased with her stay there. Robin was attentive and communicative the entire time and our small dog felt right at home there. Robin gave us frequent updates on how the stay was going, and cared for our dog in every way that we asked. I would definitely book Robin again to watch our little dog!
Ashley is a Sweetheart! She was so good to our Rosie, she even let her sleep in bed with her! Rosie had a fun and relaxing time with Ashley's pups, Tipsy and Bandit. We had never left Rosie anywhere before, but I am happy to say it has been a very positive experience. Ashley's truly treated out Rosie like family.

Kim provided a perfect home away from home experience for my 2 pups. I can tell that they were well taken care of by their behavior after pickup; they were at ease, happy, and rested. Kim sent many pics which took all my worries away during our trip. She quickly responded during our interaction before and during this pet stay. I highly recommend and will definitely book with her again.

This was our first time using Rober and we hit the jackpot with Madison! We needed a sitter for our chihuahua while we were out of town for 7 days. Our dog doesn’t love being around children or other pets so it was really nice that it was just Madison and her boyfriend. They took such great care of our pup that I think she thought she was on vacation too! Madison had great communication and sent me updates and photos every day. Would definitely rebook!

Jae was excellent!!! She sent photos and videos of ms lulu throughout the day. When first interviewed she came to the house, and only after a few minutes we knew she was the one. She is family now!!!!!! Will keep using her if her schedule allows. Very freindly and out going answered every question we had, because this was the first time we used rover. Again Jae is the best and we love her. Again she is great with our dog and became a member of our family.

Andrew was amazing with Ace! He followed all care instructions and gave me lots of updates and cute pictures! This was my first time leaving Ace not with friends or family so I was a little anxious, but Andrew eased any worries I had had! Would definitely recommend and I will be booking again the next time I’m away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
