About: I did full time pet sitting for 4 years and currently work part time at an animal shelter. I’ve been cpr and first aid certified for dogs and cats. Cared for a wide range of dogs from puppy’s to senior pups with various health conditions, including seizures, anxiety, cancer. Having cared for many dogs and cats throughout the years having new fur babies to care for comes very easy to our daily routine. I will always go over your specific routine first to see if we are a good match to make sure both parents and fur babies are comfortable. I have a fenced in back patio and multiple parks around my area with a dog and cat of my own to keep your pets entertained with company. I will also send daily picture/video updates so you know how your precious babies are doing!

Kimberly was fantastic and incredibly understanding with my cat, Scar. Her home is well-equipped with plenty of toys that he absolutely loved, and I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care for 11 days. She was also very accommodating when my flight was delayed and kept me updated regularly on his well-being with lots of pictures and messages on how he was doing. I would absolutely book with her again.

About: Ive grown up around dogs, cats, and a variety of other pets my whole life. Born and raised in Daytona it has given me a laid back attitude and calm presence when it comes to handling animals of any personality, size, and shape. I work for the City during weekdays from 7am to 3:30pm. With a lunch break at 11am. I can easily let out, feed, and clean before work. Check in at lunch, and be ready for dinner with no problems. I make sure my pets are fed, walked, and loved at least twice a day. With so much time after work ends it is very easily within my ability to walk, feed, and clean up after any pets that need my service.

About: I have always loved dogs. I have one of my own and he bring so much joy to me. I think when people own their own dog they realize they aren’t just pets they really are part of the family . I feel like I can add an extra set of care be able to make them feel like they’re at home and be personal. These are a part of your family so they should be treated like a family member. I’m currently in school but pretty much have an open schedule. I might have one or two shift shifts during the day, but I’m available after four every single day and then on the weekends all day. Like i mentioned prior i have 2 dogs at home so i am use to the playing making sure they are happy and keeping up with them. I also have realized they are very different from each other so it’s important to adjust to how they would want things and there own space

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other small animals in both short-term and extended pet sitting arrangements. My responsibilities have included feeding, daily walks, playtime, litter box and yard clean-up, and maintaining pets’ normal routines to reduce stress while their owners are away.I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, so I prioritize patience, consistency, and lots of affection. I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication to ensure owners feel confident and at ease. My goal is always to create a safe, loving, and comfortable environment so pets feel cared for and secure in their own home. My Daily Routine Morning (Pre-Work): I start my day with early morning "potty breaks" and breakfast feedings for boarding guests before I head to work. Afternoon (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM): This is my peak activity time! Once I’m off, I focus on long walks, backyard play, and park visits to help pups burn off their midday energy. Evening: I’m available for dinner feedings, evening strolls, and plenty of couch cuddles. This is also when I provide detailed photo updates to owners. Caring for a pet is about more than just checking boxes; it’s about providing emotional security and physical safety, whether they are on "vacation" at my place or staying in their own kingdom. My approach centers on high-engagement care and clear communication with you.

About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover and proud pitbull owner, so caring for dogs—especially big breeds—is something I genuinely love and feel very comfortable with. I have hands-on experience with larger, strong dogs and regularly care for a 70lb Cane Corso puppy, so I understand how to handle high-energy, powerful pups with patience and confidence. You can also expect lots of photo updates while you’re away—I know how important it is to feel connected and reassured that your dog is in good hands 🐾💛 I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, including afternoons and evenings. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, so your dog will get consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. My fiancé is also home most of the week while pursuing his bachelor’s degree, so there is usually someone home to provide extra supervision, care, and attention. I’m also open to last-minute bookings when available. I have a large, fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time, along with extra leashes, collars, and an extra-large crate for visiting dogs if needed. My home is a 3-bedroom space, which allows me to easily separate dogs when necessary to ensure everyone feels comfortable and stress-free. I also have additional crates available for safe rest time or if your dog is crate-trained. For exercise and enrichment, I love taking dogs on long walks at Reed Canal Park around the lake, and I have a reliable vehicle for safe transportation. I closely follow your dog’s routine, monitor behavior carefully, and provide regular photo updates so you always feel confident your dog is in great hands.

About: I have had 2 dogs and a cat for the past 13 years and they are an extension of my family. Since college I’ve cared for my friend’s animals while they’ve gone on vacation or out of town. I’ve dropped into their home every few hours and have hosted them at my place. While caring for your animals, their physical safety is a top priority. Whether it be while they’re interacting with other animals at the dog park, or we bump into another pup while on a walk, I will always make sure they are well and no harm comes their way. I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your furry babies. Taking a long walk outdoors is a part of my daily routine. I love to care for animal’s needs from walking them, feeding them, petting them, or giving animals time to interact with other animals at a local park.

Babz is absolutely amazing with my dogs and I was immediately at ease when I met her. It was my first time dropping them off with her and my older dog is on meds due to a healing limp so I had to ask her to let my 2 dogs out separately the entire time which isn't ideal but she was more than happy to accommodate. Will absolutely be back - so glad I found her. Thank you!

Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
