“Sarah was great with our two dogs and was so nice! We will definitely use her again in the future. She sent lots of pictures throughout the stay and was flexible on drop off and pick up times.”

“This was my first time using Rover, I was a little nervous leaving our 1 year old pup with a stranger. After meeting Joshua I felt more at ease, the daily texts with updates along with photos & videos really made us feel at ease knowing he was taking great care of our baby dog. We have trips coming up soon, I will rebook with him for sure! Thanks again Joshua for a excellent job with our Mater ?”

“I had the absolute best experience with Madelyn! She really goes above and beyond for my babies! I have 2 big dogs and I’m always nervous on who can watch them. She always kept me updated and sent pictures every time I asked how they are doing! I highly recommend Madelyn to watch your babies! They are in good hands 🥰”

“Repeat customer! First time leaving my pup overnight, and Kristi’s service is solid. I know my guy is loved and taken care of while I’m gone, given his medicine, and I received plenty of photo updates!”

“Amber is such a great person sitter. She kept me updated with texts, pics, and videos. She followed instructions and went beyond that. Shakira was a happy puppy. She looked great when I picked her up. I recommend Amber and will book her again and again.”

“Robin was so loving caring and protective of my blind and deaf 16 yr old mini poodle, Weezie. I highly recommend her for any of ur doggie stays. I could enjoy my vaca without constantly worrying was my beloved pup ok. Robin sent several photos almost everyday She is a gem.”

“They're not enough words to describe how happy I am with the way Bonnie and Chris took care of my baby girls. I got pictures daily, they communicated well on how the girls were doing and any questions that they had about things the girls like. Both of my girls felt comfortable enough to snuggle up with them and give them love and that's enough happiness for me to know that my girls trusted them. They are the best kind of people and if my girls ever need someone to watch them, Bonnie and Chris will be the first ones that I contact. Thank you so much for taking such good care of them.”

“We are so happy we chose Samantha to watch our dog! She did a fantastic job keeping him happy and comfortable, giving us complete peace of mind. If you are looking for a responsible, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter, we highly recommend Samantha!”

“Extremely satisfying experience!!! It was our first time we left the dog with someone for 3 nights)) And Megan make it less stressful ☺️ We received photo and video updates several times a day🥰 Thanks a lot again 🫶🏼”

About: I come from a lifelong animal-loving household and have shared my life with cats, dogs, and many other animals my entire life. I’ve also been caring for animals professionally for over 20 years. While living in South Florida, I built a large pet-sitting clientele while working as a veterinary technician in a general practice. After relocating to Volusia County, I spent 16 years working in emergency veterinary medicine as both a technician and a manager. I’m now based in Palm Coast, new to Rover, and working toward making pet sitting my full-time career. I have a strong understanding of medical conditions and the specialized care some pets require. I know how stressful it can be to trust a stranger with your pet—especially one with medical or special needs. I’m experienced in administering medications, giving insulin injections, performing blood glucose checks for unregulated diabetics, and managing feeding tubes. I’m trained to safely handle pets with medical needs, behavioral quirks, anxiety, and specific routines. I’ve also had my own pets with conditions including heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes, urinary blockages, and seizures, so I truly understand the worry that can come with leaving a medically fragile pet in someone else’s care. My goal is for you to rest easy knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. When entering and exiting your home, I take extra precautions by ensuring your pet is safely away from doors to reduce any risk of accidental escapes. I also remove pet waste and dispose of empty food cans off-site, so you return home to a clean, odor-free space. I’m committed to providing safe and loving care while you’re away. If you need services on a day I currently have blocked off, please feel free to message me. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your needs as I continue growing my clientele. Because I’ve spent 20 years in veterinary medicine, caring for animals is second nature. I’m used to structured routines, time-sensitive tasks, and being fully attentive to each pet’s needs. I schedule my days to ensure I can provide dependable, high-quality care—whether it’s once-a-day check-ins, multiple walks, or pets that need extra support or monitoring. Pets in my home get treated like part of the family. I create a relaxed environment where they can settle in quickly, get lots of love, and feel comfortable. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and quiet time. Whether they want snuggles on the couch or their own cozy spot to relax, I make sure they feel safe and cared for throughout their stay.
“This was our first time leaving our 10 month old puppy with someone we didn’t know. Brittany was awesome and sent tons of videos and pictures so we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our little fluffy baby was happy and well cared for!”

“Diamond was absolutely amazing! She was super responsive and so accommodating. She went out of her way to make things easier for us as we traveled in. I absolutely would recommend her to anyone and book her anytime we are in town. I can’t thank her enough!”

About: Hi! My name is Jaci! I have spent my whole life around animals and have always loved caring and being around them, and I would LOVE to take care of yours! I am great with all types of dogs, puppy’s and seniors. I have an 8 year yellow lab who is kind, very low energy and loves being around other animals. I work Monday through Thursday, so I am most available for weekends only. Love going on walks, and can accommodate what ever schedule your pup may need! Have a very large unfenced yard, screened in pool area for those that like outside time, and live in a gated community. My main goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for you and your pet!
“Confessora was great! My Kenzie was very well taken care of and we received daily updates from her. Kenzie received sooo much love, which helped me feel at ease and content. Would definitely recommend!!!”

“Nancy was so amazing! Very communicative and accommodating. So sweet to us and out doggie. It felt like we were leaving our Emma with family. Can't wait to see her again ❣️”

“As a first time Rover users, we were not 100% sure about using the services. But Lisa and Myranda were simply great and super friendly since the beginning. Their quick responses to messages and scheduling meet n greet with them and their dogs made us decide to confirm the booking right away. Our 2 goldendoodles had a wonderful time with them. Thank you.”

It’s always tough at first leaving a precious member of your family with others, but thankfully Barbara put my mind at ease with her kindness and consistent updates about my dog Kit. I would highly recommend anyone to trust her ability to care for and spoil your pets!

Jessica was so great with our dog and cat! My dog was very nervous when we left, but she was very good with him. She sent lots of pictures so I could see he was comfortable. She did drop in visits with our cat, too, and I could see she was spending good time with him so he was not lonely. Thank you, Jessica!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
