“Tracy is awesome and provides a warm loving environment for Moose. He is always so excited when we arrive to her house! Knowing he is having fun too is such a relief when I travel!”

“Ajax had a wonderful time with Deborah and her family! He is always happy to have extra social interaction and another dog around to play with, and when I picked him up the next morning he was happy as can be. Deborah kept me updated throughout the day about how he was doing as well. I would absolutely trust Deborah with Ajax again!”

“It’s always tough at first leaving a precious member of your family with others, but thankfully Barbara put my mind at ease with her kindness and consistent updates about my dog Kit. I would highly recommend anyone to trust her ability to care for and spoil your pets!”

“Had our first boarding with Shannon and it was fabulous. My dog Mojo got along with her dogs so well and I could tell he had a blast! She is very responsive and definitely made my dog feel like he was right at home. Will rebook for next trip!”

“FIRST CLASS!!! We have used a few dog sitters over the last year since moving to Florida and tried Katlyn for the first time this week… My little Carebear ( 14 y/o Jack Russell - Corgi mix) has been attached to my hip for over ten years… Carebear absolutely did not want her to leave and her rates are very reasonable to boot! Thank You Katlyn! We definitely will be reaching out again following Memorial Day… Mark and Jen…”

“Awesome sitter. Made Biscuit and I feel comfortable with her very friendly dog, George, during the meet and greet. Has a nice yard for dogs to play & updated with picture during stay so I knew Biscuit was safe and sound. Extremely friendly family. A+ and would use again.”

“Kristen is outstanding! We left our senior dog who has mobility issues with her for 9 days and she was great with her! She sent us updates regularly with pictures! We will be using her again! I highly recommend her!”

“Tamara and her family are amazing! They took great care of our girls. Loved the photos they shared while we were away. Definitely book with her. You will be glad you did. We are already scheduled for a follow up stay in May!”

“Found Caren and Patrick after I was informed last minute by another sitter that they were no longer watching bigger dogs. Did a meet and greet with Caren and Patrick, and their dog Bruce and felt confident they would take good care of my baby while out of town visiting family. Cleo stayed for a week with them and I received photos throughout her stay. Caren and Patrick took excellent care of her throughout her stay with them and before the week was up, I booked another stay for an upcoming business trip. I am very very happy with their care and communication. They treated my dog as one of their own and I am grateful for them. Thank you!”

“Our pups were in great care with Jen! She had them for four days and then unexpectedly we had to ask for an extra day. She graciously accommodated our request. Marley and Beau were treated well and enjoyed their time at Camp Jen!!”
About: I have helped care for friends and families fur babies over the years. Bathing, babysitting, walking i have done it all for them. I’ve also 🥰 and care for my own dogs. Currently traveling the country in an RV. I would love to help our neighbors in campgrounds who need their pets let out or walked while out of their camper. Looking to work for neighbors in campgrounds who need assistance with letting dogs out to dog park, or go for walk, or just spending time with them.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid and throughout my adult life. I currently have 2 medium Goldendoodles who are super friendly and love to play with other dogs. I don’t always update my availability over summer so please feel free to reach out to me as this time of year is busy for me, but it doesn’t mean I’m not available. I’m a stay at home wife so I have the availability to keep the type of routine your pets have for feedings, walking or just drop in visits. I’m here to learn what works best for you and your pet. My house is pet friendly and clean, especially with having 2 dogs myself. I also have a nice sized fenced yard. For boarding in my home I would have a meet and greet with my 2 dogs to make sure it’s a good fit before you leave them. I do require that your pet is clean, has no ticks or fleas. I do not feel comfortable with any type of bully breed dogs.

“Steve provided excellent care to my sister’s dog, Buddy, while she was hospitalized. It was comforting to know that Buddy was having a great time with Steve and the other dogs under his care. Receiving twice daily notes and photos of Buddy that I shared with my sister cheered her immensely. I highly recommend Steve for your pet care needs!”

“Brian was fantastic! The second I walked through the door, I knew that he loves dogs. He took such great care of my Pepper and provided me with updates and videos while I was on my trip. He took Pepper for walks and timed them for the evening, when it wasn’t too hot out - I really appreciated that. Brian adhered to the care plan that I provided him with. When I picked Pepper up, I could tell that the two of them had formed a bond. I hope to have Brian as a sitter again!”

About: I love all animals, but dogs truly have my heart ❤️. My beloved miniature pinscher, my “Hopper Dog,” was my world. I raised him from a tiny puppy, and we shared 16 amazing years together filled with walks, talks, dancing, cuddles, and unconditional love. I miss him every day, and he is the reason I have such a deep appreciation for the special bond we share with our furry companions. I have years of experience caring for dogs with all types of needs, including special dietary requirements, medications, shots, treats, while giving lots of love, hugs, and attention. I enjoy being a trusted part of a dog’s life and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Over the years, I have cared for many friends’ furry babies through drop-in visits, potty breaks, walks, boarding, and in-home sitting. I am grateful to have wonderful clients who trust me with their furry loves! I truly enjoy spending time with each and every one of them and care for them as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and health challenges. I am dependable, honest, trustworthy, and committed to providing compassionate care and plenty of love. I would love the opportunity to welcome more furry clients into my life. I have so much love to give, and I can’t wait to meet your special companion! 💗🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I love providing walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and lots of love and attention. I am dependable and able to create a routine that fits each pet’s needs, whether that includes medications, special care, or extra cuddles. Caring for animals brings joy to my day, and I love making each furry friend feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. 🐾❤️ Whether your fur baby is staying with me or I’m visiting them in your home, my goal is to make them feel completely pampered, safe, and loved. All the Snuggles: Expect endless cuddles, belly rubs, and kisses. If they love sleeping in bed at night, they are more than welcome to snuggle up with me! Playtime & Fun: I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy with their favorite games and toys. Peace of Mind: You can travel stress-free knowing your pet is receiving dedicated, highly attentive care.
“Gianna was amazing! She was very welcoming of Sadie and took great care of her. She treated Sadie like she was one of the family. I would highly recommend Gianna for your pet!”

“Erin was fantastic. Our dog was a trial and due to extreme separation anxiety and other issues we had to cut the trip short and get the dog home to familiar surroundings. Erin did everything possible to acclimate our pet to her home. She followed our written instructions and then some. She's a fantastic pet sitter. We just apologize on behalf of our senior dog for being such a trial to Erin.”
“Jenni and her family treated Bear like he was their own! She was very responsive and sent lots of pics of my Bear for me. Bear was very happy when he left and settled in very nicely. She took him for long walks and gave him everything he needed and more! Thank you Jenni’”

“Reggie had a wonderful stay! Courtney sent me the cutest photos and did a lot of fun lil activities with my buddy. Her building has a dog park, which is so convenient! She kept me updated with lots of pics and she even got Reggie a couple Christmas gifts- so so thoughtful! Id definitely recommend her as a Rover!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Edgewater
Barbara and her husband were great! I had a work trip booked for 3 months (FWCCA annual convention in Orlando) and I couldn’t change plans. My wife was out of town due to family issues and I was in a bind. I found Barbara on Rover and she was a life saver. She treated my pups as if they were her own and provided excellent care. If I need a sitter in the future I will definitely use her again.

Jessica was so great with our dog and cat! My dog was very nervous when we left, but she was very good with him. She sent lots of pictures so I could see he was comfortable. She did drop in visits with our cat, too, and I could see she was spending good time with him so he was not lonely. Thank you, Jessica!!!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
