“Kristen is absolutely the best sitter for my chihuahua. She took photos and texted me every day while I was away. My dog Rosa loved staying with her and was a little disappointed when I returned from my trip to pick her up from Kristen's house. I am so happy to have found Kristen and will definitely have her again to care for my dog. Rosa will be extremely happy, also! :)”

“I recently had the pleasure of having Madelyn take care of my two dogs, Sunny and NuNu, and I couldn’t be happier with her services. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that she genuinely loves and understands dogs. Both Sunny and NuNu immediately warmed up to her, and it was evident they felt comfortable and happy in her care. Madelyn went above and beyond to ensure my dogs were well taken care of, providing them with plenty of attention, playtime, and love. She followed all of my instructions meticulously and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. When I returned, Sunny and NuNu were their happy, energetic selves, a clear sign that they had been well looked after. Thank you, Madelyn, for making Sunny and NuNu’s time without me so enjoyable!”

About: I have helped care for friends and families fur babies over the years. Bathing, babysitting, walking i have done it all for them. I’ve also 🥰 and care for my own dogs. Currently traveling the country in an RV. I would love to help our neighbors in campgrounds who need their pets let out or walked while out of their camper. “Bonnie was so great! She sent atleast 2-3 updates with videos and pictures, which made me feel so much better while I was away on a trip. Definitely recommend!”

“We were on a month long trip with camping for 5 nights at Daytona Speedway for an event. No dogs allowed. Friends recommended using Rover to find a place for my pup. Joanna and her family were amazing - my dog had a second home. They allowed my to pick her up daily for a long walk. There are several dog parks close to their home. Coordinating times was easy. My dog was always happy to see me for our daily walk but also happily went back to their home.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
