“Maya had a fantastic time at Jennifer’s. Great communication and we got lots of updates with photos and videos. We would definitely recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a sitter in the area.”

“Allyne was an amazing dog sitter! She accepted the booking last minute (literally within 20 minutes of me needing a last minute sitter). She sent me photos throughout the stay. And her dog Kip quickly became friends with my crew. Would highly recommend her and use her services again when I’m in the area.”

“Shelby was fantastic! Rocky took to both her and her son immediately, and was smiling when I picked him up the next day. They are clearly dog people (my favorite kind of people!). She was great about communication and updating me with pictures. I will 100% use Shelby again and highly recommend her”

“We are so happy we chose Samantha to watch our dog! She did a fantastic job keeping him happy and comfortable, giving us complete peace of mind. If you are looking for a responsible, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter, we highly recommend Samantha!”

“Had our first boarding with Shannon and it was fabulous. My dog Mojo got along with her dogs so well and I could tell he had a blast! She is very responsive and definitely made my dog feel like he was right at home. Will rebook for next trip!”

About: I come from a lifelong animal-loving household and have shared my life with cats, dogs, and many other animals my entire life. I’ve also been caring for animals professionally for over 20 years. While living in South Florida, I built a large pet-sitting clientele while working as a veterinary technician in a general practice. After relocating to Volusia County, I spent 16 years working in emergency veterinary medicine as both a technician and a manager. I’m now based in Palm Coast, new to Rover, and working toward making pet sitting my full-time career. I have a strong understanding of medical conditions and the specialized care some pets require. I know how stressful it can be to trust a stranger with your pet—especially one with medical or special needs. I’m experienced in administering medications, giving insulin injections, performing blood glucose checks for unregulated diabetics, and managing feeding tubes. I’m trained to safely handle pets with medical needs, behavioral quirks, anxiety, and specific routines. I’ve also had my own pets with conditions including heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes, urinary blockages, and seizures, so I truly understand the worry that can come with leaving a medically fragile pet in someone else’s care. My goal is for you to rest easy knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. When entering and exiting your home, I take extra precautions by ensuring your pet is safely away from doors to reduce any risk of accidental escapes. I also remove pet waste and dispose of empty food cans off-site, so you return home to a clean, odor-free space. I’m committed to providing safe and loving care while you’re away. If you need services on a day I currently have blocked off, please feel free to message me. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your needs as I continue growing my clientele. Because I’ve spent 20 years in veterinary medicine, caring for animals is second nature. I’m used to structured routines, time-sensitive tasks, and being fully attentive to each pet’s needs. I schedule my days to ensure I can provide dependable, high-quality care—whether it’s once-a-day check-ins, multiple walks, or pets that need extra support or monitoring. Pets in my home get treated like part of the family. I create a relaxed environment where they can settle in quickly, get lots of love, and feel comfortable. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and quiet time. Whether they want snuggles on the couch or their own cozy spot to relax, I make sure they feel safe and cared for throughout their stay.
“After three nights boarding with Kimberly my little girl came home happy. She didn't "punish" us nor did she act needy. This tells me she was happy and comfortable during our absence. That kind of relief is priceless thanks to Kimberly.”

“Joanna was very communicative throughout booking and boarding. She took time to call and talk a few days before they boarded about the care needed for our two dogs; one being diabetic. When something was of concern she contacted us and took care of also contacting the vet while we were on our cruise. Our dogs returned happy and healthy. We look forward to using Joanna in the future.”

About: I have been pet sitting for friends and family for 7 years. I lives with a golden retriever for 6 months and took him on daily walks. I get along well with everyone and put safety first! I also worked for a company the last year that sells dog park equipment, there were about 5 dogs on the office daily and I would make sure they went out when they notified me they had to go, keeping their water bowl full. I run my own health and wellness business from my home and online. We are relocating soon so I am looking for any and all extra work where I can continue to work my business. Right now I’m flexible the whole day as I am working from my phone with a few in person visits. I like to give lots of love to the pets, I make sure they have water at all times in their bowl. I like to treat them with ice cubes as a treat on a hot summer day (if they are big enough!) I also like to make sure I know what their signs are that they need to go out. Reading their energy and needs is a quality trait I have.
“Katlyn was very comfortable with both of my dogs from the time they got out of the car. She was very responsive and respectful to all my messages to her when I was checking on them. She sent plenty of happy photos.”

“Extremely satisfying experience!!! It was our first time we left the dog with someone for 3 nights)) And Megan make it less stressful ☺️ We received photo and video updates several times a day🥰 Thanks a lot again 🫶🏼”

“McKenzy is a truly wonderful dog sitter who provides exceptional care for both my Australian Kelpie and my Dalmatian. She communicates clearly and consistently, keeping me well informed throughout my time away, including sharing any potential concerns, which gives me great peace of mind. My dogs genuinely enjoy staying with her and are always happy, comfortable, and well cared for. McKenzy takes them on daily outings and ensures they receive plenty of exercise, and they return home pleasantly tired and relaxed, able to settle in easily for several days afterward. I highly recommend McKenzy and will continue to trust her with the care of my two dogs with complete confidence.”

“Thx Rachel. They both looked like they had fun. We are glad you enjoyed them. It’s always nice to know your pets are cared for when you go away ,we felt that way and enjoyed the pics shared!!”

Ponce Inlet pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kristen is absolutely the best sitter for my chihuahua. She took photos and texted me every day while I was away. My dog Rosa loved staying with her and was a little disappointed when I returned from my trip to pick her up from Kristen's house. I am so happy to have found Kristen and will definitely have her again to care for my dog. Rosa will be extremely happy, also! :)

Jami and her husband and their pup were very gracious in welcoming Hutch into their beautiful home while I worked nearby. They sent pictures and updates and Hutchinson clearly felt at home! In fact -he had such a great day -he didn’t want to leave ! I would highly recommend Jami!
