“As a first time Rover users, we were not 100% sure about using the services. But Lisa and Myranda were simply great and super friendly since the beginning. Their quick responses to messages and scheduling meet n greet with them and their dogs made us decide to confirm the booking right away. Our 2 goldendoodles had a wonderful time with them. Thank you.”

“Emilie took such great care of Salem! She was there for four nights and we got multiple updates each day with plenty of pictures. They have a beautiful fenced in yard that Salem loved getting to zoom around in with the other dogs! Salem kept wanting to go back inside to play when I picked her up so I know she had the best time. We will most definitely be bringing Salem back to board. We knew she was in the best care and was treated like one of their own! Salem rates them a 10/10 and can’t wait to come back!”

“Patrick was able to take in my 70+ lb wild child on short notice over the TG holiday. My usual sitter broke her arm/ wrist days before we were set to leave on a cruise!! Our dog has never been in a kennel and of course they were all booked even so. I feel like we won the boarding lottery with Patrick and Caren. The house and backyard were perfect! You can tell they LOVE all doggos!! We were 100% at peace leaving Mischka in their care. While on the cruise they sent a message and pic everyday. When we picked her up she was all fat and happy!! You know your dog is loving life when they are eating every meal when you are away. My only concern she is missing Patrick and her new dog friends she met while we were away!! And that is a wonderful feeling! :) We will request them every time we need a sitter from now on.... and maybe even a weekend playdate here and there! Your dog will LOVE you for leaving them here!!!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid and throughout my adult life. I currently have 2 medium Goldendoodles who are super friendly and love to play with other dogs. I don’t always update my availability over summer so please feel free to reach out to me as this time of year is busy for me, but it doesn’t mean I’m not available. I’m a stay at home wife so I have the availability to keep the type of routine your pets have for feedings, walking or just drop in visits. I’m here to learn what works best for you and your pet. My house is pet friendly and clean, especially with having 2 dogs myself. I also have a nice sized fenced yard. For boarding in my home I would have a meet and greet with my 2 dogs to make sure it’s a good fit before you leave them. I do require that your pet is clean, has no ticks or fleas. I do not feel comfortable with any type of bully breed dogs.
“Diamond provided excellent care for Rex! It seemed he enjoyed his stay. She was very knowledgeable of dogs and has a great space for the dogs when they stay. I would use her again in the future if it would work out.”

“Jennifer took such good care of Lynyrd for me!! They went for walks, car rides and had lots of play time. I know he had a good time and that means a lot to me!”

“Lauren was amazing. Kept me updated with how my dog Danny was doing and sent pictures as well. Answered any questions I had. Very much recommend her. She was very friendly and my Danny had a great time with her. I will definitely be rebooking.”

“Very nice and caring person. My buddy had a blast staying with her. Very punctual with the pick up and drop off. Sends pics and updates. Our Falkor was in great hands. We will be using her again.”

“Linda took care of Charlie and Gus for 12 days. When we picked them up they were healthy and happy! She kept us informed and sent pictures and we will definitely book again. Thanks Linda! Great job!”

“My English Setter Chase was so well.looked after. He was happy and having so much fun that I am not sure he wanted to leave.!! Will definately go back again!”

“Emma absolutely LOVED her time with MJ and MJ's sweetbpup Buddy. She had a great time playing with Buddy, running around the yard, and swimming in the pool. The proof is that this normally crazy, almost 1 year old puppy was exhausted for 2 whole days after pick up! MJ provided regular updates, was thorough with safety questions before drop off, and is super sweet. We felt at ease having our baby with MJ.”

“Tim, Crystal and the girls are fantastic with our dachshund. When we pull into their neighborhood, he gets so excited because he gets to see his girls. They are always very accommodating and send lots of pictures. They took him to see Christmas lights this past week.”

“I can’t recommend her highly enough! She took wonderful care of my baby (my fur-child ❤️) and went way above and beyond what I expected. From day one, she sent me adorable pictures multiple times a day so I never felt out of the loop. She kept me updated. It truly gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My pet came back happy, healthy, and clearly very loved. She’s the best I’ve ever used—hands down. I will 100% be booking her again and recommending her to everyone I know! Thank you so much for being amazing! 🌟🐾”

“She was amazing for it being short notice. She sent us plenty of pictures and even bathed Colt while she had him. I would definitely recommend her, and most definitely will use her as our go-to sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Oak Hill
Rachel was an awesome sitter! She sent daily pictures of Bentley playing with her friends and being silly. I am grateful that Rachel was able to board Bentley on short notice after my scheduled sitter had to cancel. Bentley had so much fun running in the yard and playing with the other furry kids, and snuggling on the couch at the end of the day.
I can't thank Rachel enough for taking such incredible care of my pup, Rooster! From the moment I met Rachel, I could tell she was truly passionate about animals, and my dog instantly warmed up to her. This was my first time having to leave my dog and I was extremely nervous. Throughout the entire stay, I received regular updates, cute photos, and short video clips of my dog enjoying playtime and just relaxing. When I came to pick up Rooster he was happy, healthy, and clearly had a blast during his stay. I will definitely be booking again the next time I need a sitter. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable dog sitter. Thank you again for being so amazing!!

Rachel is simply the BEST! This was the 2nd time to leave my 2 small dogs with her. I received constant communication from Rachel with pictures, which made our vacation enjoyable and worry free. Rachels’s dogs are so playful and kept mine busy the entire time playing. Anytime we go to NSB, Rachel will ALWAYS be our go to person!! THANK YOU Rachel!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
