“Kristen did a fantastic job caring for Ollie. She updated us daily with a photo and let us know how he was doing and what he was up to. Our golden doodle is so high energy, and Kristen was great about ensuring he got plenty of walks and play time! When we needed to extend our booking due to a family emergency, Kristen was happy to accommodate. I highly recommend her!”

“I am so happy with the service provided. Stacy has done such an amazing job with keeping me updated and sending pictures which have been a huge comfort while away from home. I would definitely use Rover again and I can't express my appreciation enough in regards to the care Stacy provided for my cats. Thank you, Stacy!”

“As a first-time Rover user, I was naturally a bit nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Paul completely put my mind at ease from the start! He even explained how I would be able to see on the app where the walk happened and how it would notify me in real time. His communication was exceptional - he sent regular updates and pictures during the walks, which really helped calm my anxiety. It meant so much to see my dog happy and well cared for. Paul was also consistently punctual, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a reliable, communicative dog walker who truly cares about your pet (especially if you’re new to Rover), I can’t recommend Paul highly enough!”

“Our dog Murphy was able to stay at Giannas wonderful home for doggie day care fior 3 days in a row from 6/20-6/22/25. She was very accommodating to our last minute request to send Murphy to her Doggie Day Care. She was super accommodating to our pick up and drop off times. The Gianna family is very knowledgeable and receptive to our dogs needs . She sent me updates and pictures often. Murphy waa so happy and excited to run in her home . Murphy got walks and playtime with Nash , the most friendly dog in town. If we are back in the area, and need a day care for Murphy, Giannas home would be our first choice. We’ll seek her out for pet sitting the next time we’re in herb area.”

“We were so thankful to find Brian for a last minute daycare request. He worked with our schedule and we were completely comfortable leaving the dogs. About: I love dogs, I would want to leave my baby with someone who loved dogs, if I needed to leave him. My little guy loves other dogs and plays well, or sleeps through it all. I work from home and have all-day availability most days per week. I can break at any time to care for the pups, all day long. I have a fenced in yard; and always stay outside with the dogs while they are out. Mine requires this, and I'd do no less for yours.
“Victoria is wonderful. I have a very high anxiety dog that isn’t good in new situations and Victoria was so patient and understanding. She spend time trying to settle her in and gave her lots of attention ..and was so responsive to text messages. I am very happy I found her and plan to Victoria when I am down here.”

About: I’ve taken in many abandoned animals and have either kept them or found them loving homes. I once had a baby possum and pet goose that I raised. I am retired and would love to take care of your fur baby on a regular basis so that they can get to know me and trust me. I have fenced in yard and I am home throughout the day I will only take 1 fur baby a day unless they are siblings of the same household. I would prefer for them to stay at my home if you need overnight boarding but I can most certainly stay at yours if that is more comfortable for you and your pet family.
About: I have been pet sitting for friends and family for 7 years. I lives with a golden retriever for 6 months and took him on daily walks. I get along well with everyone and put safety first! I also worked for a company the last year that sells dog park equipment, there were about 5 dogs on the office daily and I would make sure they went out when they notified me they had to go, keeping their water bowl full. I run my own health and wellness business from my home and online. We are relocating soon so I am looking for any and all extra work where I can continue to work my business. Right now I’m flexible the whole day as I am working from my phone with a few in person visits. I like to give lots of love to the pets, I make sure they have water at all times in their bowl. I like to treat them with ice cubes as a treat on a hot summer day (if they are big enough!) I also like to make sure I know what their signs are that they need to go out. Reading their energy and needs is a quality trait I have.

About: Absolutely, let’s tweak that: Hello! I’m Rachel, and I’m passionate about providing excellent care for dogs! I enjoy running and walking with them. Having raised three border collies, I’ve developed a deep affection for all dogs. My goal is to relieve you of the worry about your dog needing a walk, a potty break, or a safe place to stay while you’re away. I'm here to help and would love to take that pressure off you. I have a fenced backyard with a pool for your pups to cool off, and I’m very active, ready to care for your dog as if it were my own! Feel free to reach out—I can’t wait to meet you and your adorable furry friends!

About: I LOVE ALL DOGS! I live in a community with a couple of private parks, one right across the street! My community also borders with a dog friendly state preserve where I walk every day and would love to take your dog as well. I've been helping family and friends with their dogs for years and had two myself, until recently when my very old dog passed. I now have one senior lab/rescue that is very well trained. It is very quiet where I live and we have no major streets close, if dogs are well behaved they can be unleashed in the park, I always pick up after the dogs. I give good treats and lots of loving! We also have nature trails in our community.
About: I come from a lifelong animal-loving household and have shared my life with cats, dogs, and many other animals my entire life. I’ve also been caring for animals professionally for over 20 years. While living in South Florida, I built a large pet-sitting clientele while working as a veterinary technician in a general practice. After relocating to Volusia County, I spent 16 years working in emergency veterinary medicine as both a technician and a manager. I’m now based in Palm Coast, new to Rover, and working toward making pet sitting my full-time career. I have a strong understanding of medical conditions and the specialized care some pets require. I know how stressful it can be to trust a stranger with your pet—especially one with medical or special needs. I’m experienced in administering medications, giving insulin injections, performing blood glucose checks for unregulated diabetics, and managing feeding tubes. I’m trained to safely handle pets with medical needs, behavioral quirks, anxiety, and specific routines. I’ve also had my own pets with conditions including heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes, urinary blockages, and seizures, so I truly understand the worry that can come with leaving a medically fragile pet in someone else’s care. My goal is for you to rest easy knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. When entering and exiting your home, I take extra precautions by ensuring your pet is safely away from doors to reduce any risk of accidental escapes. I also remove pet waste and dispose of empty food cans off-site, so you return home to a clean, odor-free space. I’m committed to providing safe and loving care while you’re away. If you need services on a day I currently have blocked off, please feel free to message me. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your needs as I continue growing my clientele. Because I’ve spent 20 years in veterinary medicine, caring for animals is second nature. I’m used to structured routines, time-sensitive tasks, and being fully attentive to each pet’s needs. I schedule my days to ensure I can provide dependable, high-quality care—whether it’s once-a-day check-ins, multiple walks, or pets that need extra support or monitoring. Pets in my home get treated like part of the family. I create a relaxed environment where they can settle in quickly, get lots of love, and feel comfortable. I keep routines consistent with what they’re used to—feeding schedules, walks, and quiet time. Whether they want snuggles on the couch or their own cozy spot to relax, I make sure they feel safe and cared for throughout their stay.
About: I have been taking care of pets through Rover since early 2024 and it is the best thing ever! I grew up with many dogs and even married a military K-9 handler once upon a time. In my journeys, I learned a thing or two. My elementary-aged children have learned so much about different breeds and temperaments, and helped me to share so much love! We have boarded mostly dogs- puppies to elderly, some with medication or disabilities/ behavioral issues; some 1:1 and some mixed packs 4 pups at a time. (Currently multi-boarding is limited.) We’ve had a few cats (all amazing- my daughter loves cats but my son is allergic). I take care into deciding whether or not to board animals together based on many factors, and always try to consult with pet parents ahead of time. I work a flexible schedule, mostly from my home office. Saturdays are usually spent at home and Sundays are for the beach and home. We adore having pet guests! I have been a nanny, personal assistant, housekeeper and pet sitter for multiple people over the last 30 years. Animals are my favorite and my children love them too!
“Tracy was fantastic! After about ten days on the road with my dogs, I made it to the Daytona Beach / New Smyrna Beach area and wanted to go surfing—but I couldn't bring the dogs with me. They're both high-maintenance, and up until that point, only trusted friends had ever watched them. Needless to say, I was nervous! I must have texted Tracy every 30 minutes that first morning, and she was incredibly understanding and reassuring. Once she realized how anxious I was, she started sending regular updates—probably every hour—along with photos, which really put my mind at ease. By the second day, I felt way more comfortable dropping them off. She lives in a nice house in a quiet area with very little traffic and has a fenced-in yard, which was perfect for the dogs. Highly recommend!”

Let's talk and see where we can find the best times to walk your furry family member. Currently I have an open and flexible schedule. I have always been active with my dogs. They were all in great shape and deeply loved. My oldest who passed away 3 years ago was 16. He was playing, taking long walks and energetic until his last week of life. I believe in learning your dogs personality and motivations to negotiate behavioral change, and training.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love caring for them. Almost everyone in my family has a dog, so I’m very comfortable around different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I currently have my own dog, who I’ve personally taught basic commands and tricks like sit, lay down, paw, wait, and more. Through that experience, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and making pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m attentive to each dog’s needs and enjoy spending quality time with them, whether that’s playing, going on walks, keeping them company, or sticking to their usual routines while their owners are away. As a house sitter, I aim to make pets feel as relaxed and cared for as possible in their own environment while also respecting and caring for your home responsibly. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I currently have a very flexible weekday schedule. I’m able to provide walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, and consistent attention throughout the day based on each pet’s needs and routine. I do maintain an active lifestyle and may occasionally be away for a short period during the day, but I always make sure pets are cared for, comfortable, and never left alone longer than agreed upon with the owner. Communication and consistency are very important to me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment while following the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, boundaries, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet and home in someone else’s care, so I always aim to be respectful, dependable, clean, and communicative. I also enjoy sending updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.
“Stacy came over on short notice and lived up to her “animal whisperer” nickname with our little grumpy old man (he’s really not old he just acts like he is :)).”

“Steve is absolutely fantastic. We are a little bit out of his way but he happily took our beagle Pixel for a walk while we were out of town. We have also chosen to board Pixel with him over the Christmas holiday for 9 days. As far as we are concerned, and since Pixel likes him, he is our go to guy! He even fed her for us!”

I truly believe that pets are our babies and such an important part of the family. As far as coming into your home, everything will be treated with respect as well as keeping everything tidy as we play. As far as caring for pets in my own home, I have a medium sized fenced in yard so lots of room to run and play, as well as a single floor house so no worries about stairs.

About: I have always had a dog in every phase of my life. I currently have a small black mutt who is 5, loves other dogs, and is very social. I have adopted a 13 year old chihuahua and kept her for a wonderful 5 years before she passed over the rainbow bridge. My fiancé has always had dogs as well and loves them all, more than most humans. We thoroughly enjoy meeting new dogs and learning their personalities! I pride myself in being trustworthy and consistent. I am currently home full time and have a ton of flexibility. I have plenty of time for stop ins, walks, and boarding. I know how grateful I am as a pet owner when I have help, and I’m excited to offer that to you all! I live in a two bedroom apartment with a specious living area. Plenty of room to get on the floor and play tug of war! I live near paved trails and love to take advantage of them frequently throughout the day with my dog. There’s also fenced in grass fields within walking distance for dogs that need extra room to roam. I love getting my steps in and also can easily stop in to let your dog out during a long work day!

“Deborah was very nice and communicated well with us. This was our first time using Rover and she walked me through all the steps. Deborah kept us updated and sent photos every day. She was very clear and flexible with the hours she was available for drop off and pick up and seemed very comfortable with dogs, especially our two big ones. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Tamara and her family are amazing! They took great care of our girls. Loved the photos they shared while we were away. Definitely book with her. You will be glad you did. We are already scheduled for a follow up stay in May!”

“We have entrusted Ryan with our girl, Riley several times. She has kept her happy and entertained while we have gone on trips up to two weeks in length and I know she is in good hands while we are gone. I highly recommend Ryan, her and her family make my girl feel right at home!!”

“Tracy and her whole family were amazing for Thor’s very last minute stay. He has so much fun time in the yard that he was a sleepy pup for the next two days! Would highly recommend.”

“Thank you Mary and family! I was nervous to leave my 14 year old Golden Retriever for the first time in a while, but they took great care of my 3 dogs and sent me updates and pictures while I was gone. Easy and seamless drop off and pick up. Highly recommend!”

“I don’t even want to say how AMAZING Jenni is because selfishly I want her to always be available to babysit our dog!lol I have never felt so comfortable, so quickly with a dog sitter. She and her kids truly love your animals like their own!”

“Amazing couple who take care of your pups fabulously. I’m an overprotective dachshund mom and they did everything right and beyond making them feel safe. I recommend this couple to take care of your pups especially if they want to play with theirs. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Madelyn and her family were so sweet and loved Apollo! We only had a small miscommunication about his harness which he chewed off but she bought him a new one right away and apologized!”

“Brian was fantastic! The second I walked through the door, I knew that he loves dogs. He took such great care of my Pepper and provided me with updates and videos while I was on my trip. He took Pepper for walks and timed them for the evening, when it wasn’t too hot out - I really appreciated that. Brian adhered to the care plan that I provided him with. When I picked Pepper up, I could tell that the two of them had formed a bond. I hope to have Brian as a sitter again!”

“Shelby was great with Remy. Remy's pretty needy these days based on her age and medical stuff but that was no problem for Shelby. I would definitely recommend Shelby and use her again!”

“They're not enough words to describe how happy I am with the way Bonnie and Chris took care of my baby girls. I got pictures daily, they communicated well on how the girls were doing and any questions that they had about things the girls like. Both of my girls felt comfortable enough to snuggle up with them and give them love and that's enough happiness for me to know that my girls trusted them. They are the best kind of people and if my girls ever need someone to watch them, Bonnie and Chris will be the first ones that I contact. Thank you so much for taking such good care of them.”

“Allyne was an amazing dog sitter! She accepted the booking last minute (literally within 20 minutes of me needing a last minute sitter). She sent me photos throughout the stay. And her dog Kip quickly became friends with my crew. Would highly recommend her and use her services again when I’m in the area.”

“Maya had a fantastic time at Jennifer’s. Great communication and we got lots of updates with photos and videos. We would definitely recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a sitter in the area.”

“Ollie had such a great time during his stay with Daymee. She was so warm and welcoming and send videos while I was away. Will absolutely be using her sitting services again!”

“Had our first boarding with Shannon and it was fabulous. My dog Mojo got along with her dogs so well and I could tell he had a blast! She is very responsive and definitely made my dog feel like he was right at home. Will rebook for next trip!”
