“I can't believe how lucky we were to find Tamara! We just moved here from Alaska and had to find a dog sitter. We couldn't be happier. She loves dogs and it shows. Our dog, Rip loved being at Tamara's house. She is calm and cool around the dogs. She sent us pictures and videos every day. She even make a picture of Rip with Alaska scene in the background. You can't go wrong with Tamara. We will be back. Thank you Tamara you are the best.”

“Very pleased with our booking. Nico came back to us very happy. He had plenty of play time and exercise in their backyard. We received plenty of updates to let us know how he was doing and if he was making friends. They even bought Nico a bone that they sent home with us as well as a bag of dog treats. I highly recommend Steve as a dog sitter. We will definitely be making another booking in the future!”

“Lili goes above and beyond for my dog Hank he has so much fun there and meets other dogs she definitely knows how to handle the dogs and gives them so much attention I highly recommend her!!”

“Thank you Joana and family for taking such great care of Gypsy! She had a great weekend with you guys! Joana was so easy and responsive and sent pictures. I was able to enjoy the wedding without worrying about Daisy!”

“We brought our dogs by before their stay, and they loved having the large backyard to run and play in. Although there was a small language barrier, communication was still easy. She also sent us pictures to keep us updated, which we really appreciated. Such a nice couple to trust with your dogs while you’re away!”

“Our dog Max was very happy at Madelyn's place. Madelyn was very accommodating to help us pick Max up for short "day-trips" while we were on vacation (at a place that didn't allow pets). This arrangement let us have the best of both worlds! We would recommend her without reservation.”

“Susana is always reliable, especially when you need a sitter last minute. Whether for one day or a week she is my preferred goto sitter. My Sparky has bonded well with her which shows how kind and caring she is. Thank you!”

“Lisa was great to my Teddy and kept me informed of his progress with videos and pictures. She gave him lots of love and attention. I will definitely book with her again.”

“This was our first time utilizing Sherry and she was absolutely wonderful for our Ollie. Excellent communication, pictures, and effort to ensure Ollie was happy and healthy while we were gone. We cannot recommend her enough.”

“This girl was amazing with our little guy!! She even let him sleep in her bed. I’m sure that was so comforting for him instead of having to sleep in a crate. She sent pictures several times a day so that we would be reassured that he was in good hands. We will definitely be using her services again if we return to Daytona!♥️”

About: Hi, I'm Lorraine! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I'm currently a proud pet mom to Winston, my loyal 8-year-old Chocolate Labrador; Bear, his mischievous 8-month-old Mini Dachshund brother; Sam, our curious 9-month-old cat; Theodore, our sweet 6-year-old bunny; and Tito, our 9-year-old feisty Green-Cheek Conure. Over the years, I've been fortunate to love many wonderful pets. I raised our beloved mastiff mix Bruno, from puppyhood through his senior years until he crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 16 years old. I've also cared for our two cats, Dolly and Mowgli, from kittens into adulthood. Beyond cats and dogs, I have hands-on experience caring for bunnies, hamsters, lizards, and birds, including my beautiful Blue Quaker Parrot, Mr. Grumbles. Most recently, I enjoyed running a small homestead where I cared for 25 chickens and 2 roosters, along with 22 hand-raised cheeky ducks. When you entrust your pets to my care, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they'll be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own family pets. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Communication is important to me, so you'll receive regular updates and plenty of photos to help you feel connected to your furry (or feathered!) family members. Before any booking, I'd love to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can get to know each other, discuss your pet's routine and individual needs, and ensure their vacation is just as enjoyable as yours! The Kindred Pet Company LLC is fully licensed and insured. Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine because I care for my own pets every day. My mornings begin with feeding, walks, fresh water, cleaning litter trays and cages, and making sure everyone gets the attention they need before I start my day. Throughout the day, I make time for potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection, with usually an hour-long evening walks, feeding, and bedtime routines to finish the day. When I'm caring for your pet, I make them part of my routine too. I carefully follow their normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and secure while you're away, ensuring they receive the same love, patience, and attentive care that I give my own pets When dogs stay in my home, they'll be welcomed into a safe, loving environment alongside my two friendly, well-mannered dogs. I have a securely fenced backyard where they can enjoy supervised playtime, explore, and relax on the shaded porch. Daily exercise is an important part of our routine, so I walk my dogs twice a day through my gated community, always on a leash for their safety. For puppies and younger dogs who are still learning, I'm happy to reinforce basic commands and good manners using positive, consistent encouragement. I always follow your preferred routines and training methods to help maintain consistency. For drop-in visits, I like to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand so I can get to know you, your pet, and their normal routine. This gives us an opportunity to discuss feeding schedules, walks, medications, favorite activities, and any special instructions, ensuring your pet receives personalized care while you're away. Throughout each visit, I'll provide plenty of love, attention, and regular photo updates so you can have complete peace of mind.
“She treated our boy like family from the first moment she met him. She sent us pictures every day with positive notes about how he was doing. Since she has experience with medical issues and senior dogs, I felt confident and comfortable that he was in good hands. Will absolutely be using her again the next time we can't take our boy with us.”

“Juan and his family did an excellent job taking care of my 3 frenchies. They provided plenty of pics and updates. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent dog sitter.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Eldora
Rachel was an awesome sitter! She sent daily pictures of Bentley playing with her friends and being silly. I am grateful that Rachel was able to board Bentley on short notice after my scheduled sitter had to cancel. Bentley had so much fun running in the yard and playing with the other furry kids, and snuggling on the couch at the end of the day.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Eldora home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Eldora.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Eldora sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
