I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals—growing up on a farm taught me responsibility, confidence, and how to truly understand different pets’ needs. I’ve worked hands-on with an animal rescue, giving me experience with all breeds, temperaments, behavioral issues, and health problems. I’m also a professional dog trainer and currently work in veterinary medicine, so your pet’s safety, behavior, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. McKenzie was great! She kept the dog busy and sent regular updates and pictures. Our pickup time depended on the speed of the DMV, and she was flexible and understanding.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate most booking times. I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, walks, and training throughout the week. I make sure your pet’s routine stays consistent with plenty of potty breaks, playtime, and attention.

In my home, your dog becomes part of the family. I keep a cozy and enriching environment where pets can relax, explore, and settle in at their own pace. I follow their normal routine—meals, potty breaks, walks, snuggles, crate time, and play—so everything feels familiar and comforting. I live on a retired golf course where there are plenty of trails to walk and explore. I have two of my own dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs. With my background in dog training and vet med, I’m confident handling and boarding all types of pups, whether they’re shy, silly, have behavioral concerns, or need a little extra reassurance. I pay close attention to their behavior and make sure they feel confident while keeping my clients updated throughout their stay. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat your space and your routine with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I stick to what your dog is used to, give lots of attention, and keep you updated every step of the way. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, they’ll get reliable and loving care.

A typical day
I love keeping pets mentally and physically engaged, so our days are always a mix of fun and enrichment. Depending on your pet’s personality and comfort level, we might go for relaxed neighborhood walks, enjoy outdoor play like fetch or tug, or practice some light training games to keep their minds sharp. For pups who love adventure, we can explore parks, the beach, nature trails, or have a fun sniffari to let them take in new scents.
