About: I've been caring for pets since I was 11 years old, and taking care of animals have always been a big part of my life. I have extensive experience with large and small dogs and am equally comfortable caring for cats. I also had the opportunity to care for pets belonging to U.S. State Department and Embassy families while living in Hanoi, Vietnam, which gave me experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and care routines. I am experienced in giving medication to dogs, dogs with special needs and extensive needs and older dogs who sometimes might have medical issues! I'm happy to help with bathing, walks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I've been bathing my own dogs and cats for years, so I'm comfortable keeping pets clean and comfortable. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks, visiting dog parks (when appropriate), and making sure they get the exercise and enrichment they need. My goal is to build a career in animal care, so I treat every pet as if they were my own. I look forward to providing a safe, caring, and fun experience for your furry family members! PS. My reviews are on the same day because my account is new so I had my clients do testimonials :) My college classes are online so it doesn’t interfere. I can do part time full time any time. My dog walking care is part or full time as well! I prioritize pet safety and make sure to follow all owner instructions carefully, ensuring pets are happy, healthy, and well cared for in my hands.

“Rachel was amazing! I was so nervous about leaving my kitties for a few days as they've been so used to having us home during COVID & we have a new kitten who we have never left before. Rachel sent me several photos each day and included updates on my 2 babies, making me feel comfortable and relaxed! She made a stressful situation easy and I will definitely be using her again”

“Jaci has let out my dog more than once now and has been absolutely fantastic! Even with a last-minute booking, she was able to make it work. She’s reliable, caring, and great with my pup. I will continue using her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker.”

About: I have worked with dogs and all types of animals my whole life my last job I was a doggie daycare attendant and had up to 10 dogs in one group making sure they were happy and safe and was also a dog bather working with all breeds and sizes from Saint Bernard to chihuahuas. I also have been dog sitting for family and friends for a long time now. I'm currently not working at the moment so I'm available any day or time to dog or cat sit and can stay the night with them How I Keep Pets Safe and Take Care of Them As a dedicated and caring pet sitter, the safety, comfort, and happiness of the animals in my care are always my top priorities. Whether I’m watching over dogs, cats, or both, I treat each pet as if they were my own. For Dogs I follow their regular routine closely including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, and play. I use secure leashes and harnesses on walks and keep a close eye on surroundings to avoid any dangers like aggressive dogs or busy streets. I make sure they stay hydrated, well-fed, and have plenty of attention and exercise based on their energy level and age. I monitor for signs of stress, illness, or discomfort, and I’ll notify the owner right away if anything seems off. I keep doors and gates closed and locked at all times to prevent escapes. For Cats: I respect their individual personalities giving shy cats space and attention when they’re ready, and playing with the more social ones. I keep litter boxes clean and ensure they have fresh water and food according to the owner’s instructions. I make sure indoor cats stay safely inside, and outdoor access (if allowed) is closely supervised. I give them cozy spots to relax and enrich their day with toys, brushing, or cuddles (if they enjoy it). For all pets, I maintain a calm, loving environment and stick to their normal schedule as much as possible to reduce stress while their owners are away. I also send regular updates and pictures so you know your pets are safe and happy.
About: I have struggled personally while trying to find reliable care for my kitties on rover once we moved to FL - I am happy to be able to help out other cat families in the area! I have three cats, from a 14 year old senior to a 7 month old kitten. I am familiar and comfortable administering medications (our 7 month old has twice daily oral medication) and treatments (our 14 year old girl has feline asthma). I know how to be patient with cats and respect their space, while still ensuring they are getting the care and attention they need while their pet parents are away. I can house sit or do drop ins and am happy to come by prior to booking to ensure it's a good fit for everyone! I can't wait to meet your cat! I am working at the moment but average about 20 days off a month or more that I would love to get to know you and your pets by caring for them! I have a very flexible schedule and am very reliable. I have a fenced in yard and will be able to give your pet all the attention and care they need! I am able to crate, walk, wash, feed, administer medications etc however you need.

I’m able to take care of your animals any time of the day. I’m available to spend the night during the week and the weekends. I don’t have any pets at this time. About: Hi All! Anyone who knows me knows how much I love animals, especially dogs (don't worry I love and adore kitties too)! We always had dogs growing up, from golden retrievers, to labs to hounds. I now have my own hound-mix who is 4 years old and 80 lbs. His name is Keeper and he is a very sweet and friendly dog. I often watch and sit for my boyfriend's 2 year old female German Shepherd. I will treat your pets like my own, and love and care for them while you are away. I have plenty of time to take your pups on long walks and allow them to sniff all the smells.

“Anna was amazing! My dog ended up getting sick right after I left and Anna did an amazing job taking care of him and never hesitated to step up to the job. Super grateful for her amazing communication as I was in the Dominican Republic and didn't have great service. Really great to see pictures of him and getting updates as I was super nervous and not there.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Edgewater
We had a last-minute trip come up and needed a sitter on very short notice for our two dogs. Erin was wonderful. She was able to accommodate us right away and even fit in a meet and greet beforehand. It was immediately clear how much she loves dogs. She was warm, professional, attentive, and sent regular updates throughout our time away. We felt completely comfortable and at ease knowing our dogs were in such caring hands. Highly recommend Erin!

My dog is a challenge to deal with. Emily was able to provide exactly the service I needed, and as a result my pet(s) were alive and well when I returned from a 10 day family trip out of state. Emily communicated well, and was always in touch. I would recommend her and will use her in the future.

Paige was FANTASTIC! She was very communicative, reliable and took excellent care of our fur baby, Ranger, while we were gone. Select truly cares about animals and if shows in how she cares for the pets she watches. We will definitely be using Paige again when we need a sitter for Ranger!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
