About: I've been caring for pets since I was 11 years old, and taking care of animals have always been a big part of my life. I have extensive experience with large and small dogs and am equally comfortable caring for cats. I also had the opportunity to care for pets belonging to U.S. State Department and Embassy families while living in Hanoi, Vietnam, which gave me experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and care routines. I make sure they stay hydrated, well-fed, and have plenty of attention and exercise based on their energy level and age. I monitor for signs of stress, illness, or discomfort, and I’ll notify the owner right away if anything seems off. I keep doors and gates closed and locked at all times to prevent escapes. For Cats: I respect their individual personalities giving shy cats space and attention when they’re ready, and playing with the more social ones. I keep litter boxes clean and ensure they have fresh water and food according to the owner’s instructions. I make sure indoor cats stay safely inside, and outdoor access (if allowed) is closely supervised. I give them cozy spots to relax and enrich their day with toys, brushing, or cuddles (if they enjoy it).
