“Susann and her family took wonderful care of Gracie. She sent pictures of their adventures - including a 3 mile hike on a trail. Gracie slept quite a bit on the day I picked her up, so I know she had lots of fun and attention while at Susann's house.”

“Magnolia and her husband are a wonderful and delightful couple. I am sure that Corky enjoyed his stay. They have a nice big yard which was great for a dog to run or to be walked in. I left instructions, due to my dog having some issues. They seemed to follow them and hopefully he kept to his routine, which made it easier on them as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Don't be held back from not being invited into the house. In this day and age I would not want everyone I didn't know running in and out either. Like I said, I believe that Corky had a wonderful time and they enjoyed him. I would use them again if they wanted to do it. Thank you.”

“Confesora took care of Leelou so well and sent me photos everyday so I could see how she was doing! They have a perfect house and yard for boarding, she loved playing outside and Confesoras whole family is very welcoming of pups!”

“OMG! What can I say about this amazing woman. She quenched my fears and my kids fears the moment we walked through her doors. My 2 fur babies was extremely happy. Douglania sent daily updates and responded to my text messages quickly. I would never send my fur babies to a boarding kennel again. I would definitely use her again. Thank you Douglania, you are amazing ❤️❤️”

“This was my first time booking with Jim. I had a great experience. Jim had a meet and greet before the stay which made me feel comfortable to meet him and see where Finley would be staying. Jim watched Finley for three nights and took great care of him. He was very responsive and sent photo updates. I'll be booking with Jim again and would highly recommend him.”

About: I work from home so your pup will receive continuous attention and playtime. Personal pet owner of up to 4 dogs at a time. As a RN I have no problem administering your dogs medications, including injections. Daycare/boarding includes walking your pet and possible doggie park on the weekends if you are comfortable with that. After recently losing 2 members of my pack, I decided to spoil and love on other peoples pets. Most of my best friends are dog owners! I prefer a meet and greet before boarding your pet. My greys are friendly and once they do some sniffy sniffs they are good. If your dog likes to mark I do have belly bands to use while in the house.
“Thank you so much! 😊🐶This was Bono’s first time staying with her, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She took such great care of him and kept me updated throughout, which I really appreciated. Her communication was excellent, and it was clear that Bono was in great hands. I’m definitely planning to book with her again whenever I need someone. Highly recommend!”

“Katie was amazing!!! She handled everything perfectly she really knows how to sleep the pups language and my dogs were so comfortable with her. This was the first time my pups stayed over at another person's house that wasn't family and she communicated everyday and kept us in the loop! She will be out first call for our pet sitting needs!”

About: I've loved and lived with dogs most of my life and recently have been taking care of friends dogs when they are away. Your dog will receive lavish attention including as many walks as they want, play time, grooming time, and just hanging out together. Getting to know your dog's likes/dislikes and daily habits is important because I like to create a special place where your pet feels secure, happy and considers it a home-away-from-home. I'm sure your dog will be excited when they know they are coming to my house! I have a home with a large yard and even have a pool if your dog likes to swim! You can relax knowing your dog is in good hands and is being well taken care of. I'm currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to care for your dog. I'm available seven days a week and holidays. I would like to try to match your dog's current schedule to the best of my ability. That would involve number of walks, type of food and feeding time, play time, sleeping habits, etc.
“Luke was an incredible dog sitter for Kuma! He made Kuma feel very comfortable while he stayed. He constantly updated us with texts of his day along with cute pictures and videos! Kuma seemed sad to leave at the end of the stay as he enjoyed the time with Luke so much! We definitely recommend his service!!”

“Xena’s Pack was wonderful and Scout seemed to enjoy it and was happy. The videos and pictures I received during his stay reinforced that I made the right decision by choosing Xena.”

“Emily & her family are hands-down the right people to leave your pups with if you need an amazing dog sitter. They are incredibly welcoming & I think my dogs probably didn’t want to even come home after their vacation at Emily’s dog resort lol! Not only is she awesome, but she’s also a Licensed Vet Tech and was able to administer one of my dogs’ medication & give her the special medical care & attention she needed. I was a nervous wreck leaving my dog with the issues she was experiencing, but after we met Emily, I felt totally comfortable leaving her in her incredibly caring and capable hands. Emily has a huge fenced in back yard with several dog pools, which one of my dogs, in particular thoroughly enjoyed! She would send us tons of professional quality photos throughout the day of our dogs living their best lives. The photos are so great that we plan on printing & framing a few! Thank you so much to Emily & family for making our time away an amazing experience for our pups & for making us feel so at ease leaving our babies in your care! We will definitely be booking with Emily in the future when we need to go away again!”

“As a first time Rover users, we were not 100% sure about using the services. But Lisa and Myranda were simply great and super friendly since the beginning. Their quick responses to messages and scheduling meet n greet with them and their dogs made us decide to confirm the booking right away. Our 2 goldendoodles had a wonderful time with them. Thank you.”

Absolutely fantastic experience through and through! She is kind and loving to your fur baby. You can see it in all the photos and videos she sends! Multiple updates. She really helped calm my nerves since it was my dogs first sitter stay. We could not have picked a better person! We cant wait for her to watch him again 😊

Thank you for this opportunity to express how my dog was cared for while I was on vacation. She didn’t adjust well at first and was having a difficult time with her separation anxiety. They worked with her they were patient, loving and caring. This is the second time that I have boarded here and the only place we will go. Definitely, definitely recommend daycare or boarding here.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
