About: I am skilled in basic pet care, including exercising, sensory enrichment play time, feeding/watering, bathing/cleanliness, and administering medication. I have taken care of animals my entire life, including cats, dogs, and several types of exotic animals. I am currently working part time in Hospitality, so my availability is subject to inquiry. Most days and nights, I am available to board several animals. I am very flexible and receptive to your pets’ individual needs, and can accommodate most requests (bathroom break at a certain time, feeding schedule, med schedule, etc.) Please let me know if there is a special request and I will do my best to honor it. Your pet will be cared for like my own Mr. Winston! I treat pets like family members. I am a loving caregiver, as evidenced by my own care of my dog, Winston. Your animal will be cared for as if they were mine. If anything, they may even be spoiled a little during their stay!
“Jennifer was excellent - she connected with all 3 of our dogs and kept us constantly updated with photos and videos! As a first time Rover client , I was definitely apprehensive but can honestly say that I am more the comfortable now and would definitely use Jennifer again !”

About: I am well versed on various training, dog sitting, boarding and walking methods for our canine family members. Gained hands on experience of training and handling with my 11 year old GSD. I personally researched for years and only then successfully trained my current 10 month old GSD, using my other 11 year old GSD as a control. I will offer free consults to clients in need of repeat services in order to determine the tailored needs for your dog. Always willing to go above and beyond for my love of dogs. Excel with all dogs and utilize communication with the client in order to fully understand the specific qualities, needs and wants of the dog in order to organize and manage effective walks/boarding/training. I have been living in the area for over 20 years and know all of the dog-friendly parks or areas that provide a clean and safe environment offering an array of enrichment. Knowledgeable in training and recognizing animal body language used to establish positive communication with the dogs. I can not only improve the lives of the dog, but also clearly communicate and empower the owner with training tips to continue effective conditioning for a well-trained dog. My remote position of over 5 years as a Sr Mortgage Underwriter was recently moved into the office (Tampa) and decided to take time off. Therefore, I am available 24/7 and mainly focusing on the transition into the Dog Walking/Boarding/Training business. *HOUSE SITTING SERVICE: Active as a less expensive alternative to booking numerous Drop-In visits with multiple dogs. “Brittany is an amazing dog sitter!! She’s so sweet and put my mind at ease right away. Brittany loves animals, she took great care of my pup and my house. She also took pics and videos so I could see what my baby was up to. Don’t hesitate, you can trust her with your fur baby! My vaca was stress free knowing my dog was in great hands with Brittany.”

About: Hi! My name is Brandy! I have a certificate for zoo and domestic animal care from yavapai college in Arizona. I am also a dog owner of 11 years. I have certified both my dogs through the petsmart training courses. I have learned a lot through school and owning dogs of my own and have always had a passion for animals. Thanks so much for considering me for your furry babies! I am a server working part time and am looking for a way to make a little extra money on the side doing something I love! I am available for dog walking Monday-Sunday anytime before 2:30 and available Monday-Wednesday for overnights or whatever you may need as those are my days off. I will not be able to board any animals as I have a bit of a reactive border collie at my house but am available to come to your house for your needs

“This was our first booking with Jordan and she was great! She stayed at our house for 5 days with the dogs. Was on time and was with the dogs the majority of the time we were gone. Sent photo updates as well. House was nice and in order when we returned. Would recommend.”

“Samantha watched our dog Dexter for a week. While we were out-of-state at a wedding, she did a great job with him. The house looked great when we came back and Dexter had a great time, we do a lot of weekend trips and are looking forward to booking her again”

“Rebecca is a wonderful pet sitter! She provided the best care to our fur babies. They can be a little skittish with strangers but she won them over quickly. I was so happy to see the photos of happy and calm pups! It helped us enjoy our time away.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dogsitter than Colten. He provided excellent care for both of our very different dogs -- one large and anxious, one small and elderly. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our pups were in such good hands!”
“Eden was able to help out last minute and completely saved the day! She took such wonderful care my baby! I would highly recommend her services to anyone wanting someone they cannot only trust in their home, but also with their furry loved ones! 10/10!”

About: Love animals. Currently going to school for a biology degree and have 5 years of experience with exotic animals. I have years of experience taking care of friends and families animals. I work a 9-5 but have the ability to care for dogs or cats in the morning and after work. If I need to spend extra time after work or house sit then I am fine with that as well. I have great communication skills so if I notice anything off or wrong then I will not be afraid to let you know immediately. I also like to keep my clients pretty updated on their furry babies.
“Hailey was great and I’ll definitely use her again. Daily pictures showed Lucy was happy and comfortable with us being gone. Upon leaving Hailey left a detailed message of what Lucy’s day had been like up to that point and we came home to a clean house!”

About: I’ve been petting sitting since I was 13 from walking my neighbors dog while they were away for the day to feeding my best friends snake when she went on a 2 week vacation. There aren’t many animals I dislike and always open to taking care of new animals. I currently work in retail with a varying schedule but always off by 6 pm and every other weekend off. Most days I am in a 9-5 role but there are a few days that I open at 6 am. I am open to dog walking, house sitting at home or dropping in multiple times a day. I have multiple cats. I feed them a both wet food and dry food, scoop their litter boxes at least once a day with a once a week clean. I live in a small place, while I am not able to board I will check on your animal multiples times if needed, make sure they get plenty of enrichment and loves.
“Katie was great with Angel! Katie and Angel quickly became friends which we were happy to see since Angel does not normally warm up to new people. Katie was also very prompt and polite. We would definitely recommend her!”

About: My love for animals started when i was a little girl. I grew up on a farm that had multiple dogs, cats, bunnies, you name it. I am open to any kind of dogs or cats, no matter the age or size. I am willing to work around my schedule to accommodate you in any way possible. My care for pets grows more and more each day. Their needs will be tended to if i’m given the opportunity to do so.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - DeBary
Kelly is so great with all of my animals. She takes wonderful care of them and always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m able to relax while I’m away from my babies. 🙂 She is proactive about confirming bookings and special instructions, sends me lots of pictures, and even washed my pets’ dishes this past time! I truly don’t have to worry about anything when she’s on duty. We’ve had Kelly sit for us for a couple of years now. Two of our three pups have passed away over the years, so she is especially meaningful to us because she has that long-term knowledge, care, and reliability. Thank you so much, Kelly!

I couldn’t be happier with the care my dogs received! She was loving, patient, and very attentive to their needs. I got regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear she truly cares about animals and treats them like her own. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog sitter! 🐾💛

Absolutely the BEST!! I cannot recommend Andrew more! He was so knowledgeable, loving and caring for our two high energy German shepherds! He went above and beyond in every way! He did in home visits for our babies and the peace of mind he gave us through pictures and videos every time he dropped in were everything to us! DEFINITELY keeping him on speed dial!

FAQs for House Sitting - DeBary
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in DeBary on Rover is $51.73 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 2,651 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across DeBary. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred DeBary walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in DeBary maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in DeBary choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in DeBary. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
