I match a routine as closely as possible to not stress out the pet anymore than they may be while you're on vacation. I also try to be at the home as much as possible for maximum cuddles and playtime!

It's important for me to know ahead of time if your pet has separation anxiety, with my schedule I won't be able to be around 24/7. I also want to make sure I know if they are currently on medication, feeding schedule, and how long they can be comfortably left alone.
A typical day
It varies on the pets themselves! I tend to work with a lot of senior dogs so typically I'm used to sunning in the yard with them. For more high energy pets it's walks, catch, or just running around. Really it's just matching what a normal day would be for them!

I've taken care of small animals, cats, and dogs since I was a teenager. I've had experience with large and small breeds as well as medicating sick animals. I'm currently working retail in the Lake Mary area, generally shifts are between 5 to 8 hours not including drive times. If you require constant care for your pet I can absolutely take off of work but I will charge hourly instead of a flat fee. I have reliable transportation. Frequent walks are my favorite way to make sure fido gets his energy out. Making sure they feel loved and cared for throughout the day with games, treats, and lots of pets. I try my best to match a normal routine for your pet!

Kelly is so great with all of my animals. She takes wonderful care of them and always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m able to relax while I’m away from my babies. 🙂 She is proactive about confirming bookings and special instructions, sends me lots of pictures, and even washed my pets’ dishes this past time! I truly don’t have to worry about anything when she’s on duty. We’ve had Kelly sit for us for a couple of years now.
