About: As someone who moved away from home, I really miss spending time with my family's dogs. That's one of the reasons I enjoy dog walking so much. I love getting outside, staying active, and giving dogs the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I'm dependable, active, and committed to following your dog's routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and happy on every walk. I have a flexible schedule throughout the summer, including work-from-home days on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me to accommodate walks and pet care at a variety of times during the day. My hours are generally very flexible, so I'm happy to work around your pet's routine and needs. From August through December, my schedule becomes a more traditional 9–5, but I'm still available for mornings, evenings, and most weekends. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, pay close attention during walks and visits, and make sure pets stay comfortable in their familiar routine and environment. I’m dependable, respectful of clients’ homes, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Kenzie went above and beyond! She took care of our pup like she was her own. She was even kind enough to add on my mom’s dog last minute for the check ins. She spent so much time caring and loving on them. We came home to happier dogs then when we had left.”

“Michelle is amazing! She is very reliable, responsible, and incredibly kind. She took great care of my cat and gave me peace of mind while I was away. It’s obvious that she truly cares about animals. I would happily trust her with my cat again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. 🐱💕”

About: My wife and I do pet sitting together. We love all animals. we treat them as our own. We have 4 dogs and 3 cats. We have watching animals since 2015 and have over 200 clients. We have someone home all day to care for the babies in our home. We do work full time but different shifts to accommodate our fur babies having someone home all day. I like to think that while in my care the cat / dog is my own personal pet. I think a pet is part of our family.
“Emily was amazing! Honestly, I think Le'lah misses Emily right now 😂😂😂 she took such good care of our baby while we were out of state! She's the only Pup sitter for us!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, currently owning a border collie. I have been taking my border collie on bike rides every weekend for around 10 miles for over a year! If you have a dog that has a lot of energy but can not seem to work with walking them daily, I can start bike riding with them if wanted! I can also take them walking and to a place with a big grassy area and play ball or any other activity that they prefer. Ive mainly had more medium sized dogs, though I have been around all kinds and are open to them all. I am currently available weekday mornings and weekends all day. My availability may change as I work from home and will update my schedule accordingly. I follow the client's instructions for their pets and if treats are allowed I would give the pets their needed walk and bathroom breaks as well as affection!

“Laurie stepped in for us last minute and was both prompt and efficient. She kept us updated throughout and sent plenty of photos of our pups while we were out of town, which we really appreciated.”

About: I’ve cared for animals of all kinds my entire life and understand the love and care necessary for them to feel safe and supported. I am honored to care for your pets while you care for you. I am currently working part time and typically have morning and evening availability daily. I am most available Fridays through Mondays though my schedule can wax and wane. About: I've been an animal lover my whole life, from watching Steve Irwin on Animal Planet to raising my own furr babies. I love getting outdoors and spending time with my animals whether it be on a simple walk or taking the dogs swimming. My wife and I are avid travelers and I know what its like to wonder how your pet is doing at home. I want to give that reassurance to pet owners that their animal is being loved and in good, responsible hands so they can travel with peace of mind and enjoy their own adventure away from home. Feel free to ask about your reptile pets too! Currently no full time obligations, I have no set schedule typically allowing a lot of time freedom and flexibility with proper notice. I am able to work with most schedules. Every animal is most comfortable in their own home and I like to extend that comfortability with my presence. I try to spend my time with the animals doing what they enjoy most, whether it be fetch or just cuddling on the couch to make them feel safe. Every pet is different and that's why verbal guidance from the owner is so vital in making a perfect atmosphere for an animal while its owner is away.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a De Leon Springs stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in De Leon Springs. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
