I’ll soon be working toward my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My passion for helping others extends to animals, and I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I’ve been around dogs since I was 7 years old, when I got my first dog, and since then I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for pets in both professional and personal settings. I’ve worked at an exotic pet store and at two dog daycares, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I also have experience with basic training and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. Every pet has their own unique personality, and getting to know what makes them feel happy, safe, and loved is my favorite part of pet care. I live in a two story home with a fenced in back yard and a screened in porch. I currently have an almost 2 year old golden retriever that loves other dogs. While I do not provide boarding at this time, I am willing to bring my dog per clients' request if your dog needs a friend!

About: Hi, my name's Isabelle! I grew up with two huskies, one mix and one full-bred rescue. Walking two huskies at once is something I learned to do, and while it wasn't easy, it was definitely rewarding! I currently have one cat of my own and help care for my father-in-law's cat, too. I miss having dogs so much that I decided to get into the dog-walking business. I would like to emphasize that I do NOT have formal training, just some experience with owning large dogs. If you want someone that'll drop in for play-time with your pups, or to take them on a good, long walk, I'm here to help! Cats also welcome! I am interested in helping local pet-owners take care of their critters, and my schedule is wide open. Please contact me a week or so in advance and we can plan your pet's care. I can drop in to play with your pet, or I can walk them. When I first meet any animal, I give them space to greet me on their terms, get my smell, and get comfortable before I move forward with any playtime or putting on a leash. I am careful to study their body language to make sure they are comfortable with me in their space. Even the friendliest dogs need a second to make a friend!

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
