About: Ever since I was a kid, my family always owned a dog or two. When I moved on my own and had my kids, I became a dog owner myself. We were blessed with 2 wonderful dogs that I have potty trained and more. Through the years, my family members have had dogs and I have helped train them and take care of them sitting for them when on vacations. Our kids are dog lovers and huggers. We have a small loving dog. She loves all the new friends that visit. Always waiting to play. Your furry loved one will be treated as part of our family during their stay since we have lots of love to give. There’s always someone home with our furry friends. Everyone in the family plays a part. We have plenty of time to care for our furry friends needs. Weekdays and weekends are no problem, they will be part of our every day routines. At our home, your furry family member will be treated as part of our family. We have a spacious fenced in back yard where your dog can run and play with or without the kids. Our neighborhood is a quiet and wonderful area for walks.

About: Hi, my name is Kelly! I grew up on a horse farm. We had 6 dogs as well as horses, cats, and more so I am very comfortable with dogs as well as other pets. I got my start as a professional dogsitter because my friends and coworkers would ask me if I could watch their pups while they were out of town. They know I love animals. My home is your dog's home if you choose me. I have a fenced backyard. I make sure to be available as much as I can while I have dog guests and give them lots of attention. My dog, Appa, is very social and easy going. She has been known to help comfort dogs who get anxious. I hope you consider me for your pet care needs! I try to make sure I am home when I have pet guests so they are not left I attended though I do work as well. Safety is my top priority. I always feed dogs in separate rooms and if I have to leave, I will typically isolate in different rooms just to make sure everyone is ok while I am away.
“Caleb was so sweet to my little Bean and Grumpo. About: I’ve worked with many dogs over the years and enjoy helping them become well-behaved and reliable. I focus on obedience, leash training, and potty training, using consistency and patience to build good habits. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable while also learning skills they can carry back home. With a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide consistent, hands-on care throughout the day. Your dog will get regular exercise, structured routines, and plenty of attention—not long periods alone. I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks, and I keep a reliable schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime so your dog feels comfortable and settled. As a former firefighter, safety, awareness, and quick response are second nature to me. I live on 2 acres surrounded by 50 acres, giving dogs plenty of space to safely explore while still being fully supervised. I have three dogs of my own and understand pack dynamics, behavior, and structure. Whether your dog needs crate training, obedience reinforcement, or just a calm, secure environment, I tailor care to fit their needs and keep them safe, exercised, and stress-free.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
