About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life! I taught both of my late dogs how to sit, give paw, and wait until I say yes to eat their food. I love animals more than humans and I know I’d treat your pets like they’re my own! I am currently only working 1 day out of the week (Sunday’s) I work in a beautiful nursery at my local church. Monday through Saturday I am completely free all day and night. I have set feeding times for my two cats, I feed them both their own bowls of wet food in the morning, and a scoop of dry around lunch time, that they can then snack on throughout the day. Whenever I’m out I always leave on a video of birds for them to watch so they don’t get bored (they love it)!! They have their own water fountain that is cleaned every week. When I had dogs I would take them out to use the bathroom every 2-3 hours and I would feed them one scoop of dry mix in the morning and one right before I eat my own dinner. I always cuddled my companions and gave them all the love they could ever ask for!

About: I adopted my first dog with my then future husband while I was in grad school: a beautiful 7-month-old cinnamon colored pit-mix, Merrell. She had been returned to the shelter twice. The paperwork said she was "unsocializable," which was absolutely not true. She just needed time and patience. The first thing Merrell learned was how to behave around our cats. We went to training classes together and earned our AKC Good Canine Citizen Award. We even did some agility training to keep things interesting! Also, I have never not had cats.
