“We had such a great experiences! They took amazing care of our dogs and treated them like they were there own. We got updates, pictures, and could tell they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable!”

“Maricel is the absolute best! She is such a great communicator and makes sure to provide very detailed cards for each visit. I feel so much better knowing Maricel is taking care of my sweet baby while I’m away. I would highly recommend her to care for their babies!”

“Andrew was a great fit right from the beginning. He has a great nature with animals and and our (not friendly at first) dog warmed right up to him. He was diligent about making sure our baby was taken care of and went above and beyond what we asked of him. We could not have been more at ease leaving for the weekend knowing our family member was taken care of and loved on. Andrew is exceptional and I will definitely use his services above anyone else.”

About: Hi there! I’m Hailey — a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter based in Sanford, Florida. I’ve grown up with dogs of all kinds, from energetic Boxers and Labradors to gentle Shih Tzus, Golden Doodles, and even Pitbulls. I also have a sweet cat of my own who’s been part of my life for nine years, so I understand how much love and attention our pets need to feel safe and happy. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, and drop-in visits, always prioritizing your pet’s comfort and routine. I prefer to care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in a familiar environment. I’m also experienced in administering medications: topical, oral, and even injectable. You can count on me to make sure your pet’s health needs are handled with care. While you’re away, I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own: watering plants, cleaning floors, doing light laundry, and keeping everything neat and cozy for your return. You can count on me for reliable communication, regular photo updates, and genuine love for your furry family members. I’d love to meet you and your pets soon! 🐾 I am not currently working. I do drop in visits 4 times a day or I am able to spend the night with the pups. When I usually stay at the owners house I will have them write out instructions on how they want their animal taken care of and I will do just that as well as send pictures to make the owner feel more comfortable.
“Sabrina did such an amazing job with my 2 cats! I will definitely be using her again in the future!! It was my first experience with rover, I was very nervous at first but I’m so glad I chose this service and Sabrina.”

“Laurie stepped in for us last minute and was both prompt and efficient. She kept us updated throughout and sent plenty of photos of our pups while we were out of town, which we really appreciated.”

“We have been having Amber puppy sit for us for a few weeks now and every time Marlowe has such a fun time with her and her kids. She plays with her and takes wonderful care of her. Never any issues when we get home and she is very reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend her!”

“Since this was my first time using Rover, I was a little bit nervous, but Kacie was very responsive and professional and helpful! She did an excellent job taking care of our two dogs, and I could tell from the pictures that she sent at each of the drop in visits that our dogs loved her, too! It made it so easy to not have to worry that they were being well taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely use her services again!”

“Courtney is helping us out on a weekly basis. She lets our dogs out to potty during the day and spends some time with them. She plays with them and does some stimulation activities. She has been such an amazing help. I was very stressed about finding someone who is trustworthy to help us. She put all my fears at ease from the day she came to meet the dogs I knew she was going to be a great fit. She really does love animals. I would highly recommend her ☺️🐶”

About: I grew up with large dog breeds my whole life. The first pet of my own as an adult was a 1.5 year old German shepherd/siberian husky mix with a lot of resource guarding tendencies. He has taught me so much about communicating with dogs and working around their comfort. I am used to walking a large, reactive dog with no trouble. I am also a new cat mom in the recent year and have a new love for felines too! :) I lost my job of 3.5 years and struggling to find something that fits into my life with my wife’s recent cancer diagnosis and treatment regimen. I can make myself available any day or any time and appreciate the flexibility pet sitting and walking will provide me. Proper equipment is necessary to ensure safety of your dogs on walks. I won’t utilize any equipment I’m not familiar with and properly trained in
About: I’ve had different kinds of animals growing up and volunteered as an animal enrichment coordinator for two years where I handled the training, nourishment, and cleanliness of several animals. Currently I have a hybrid job and wfh Tuesday, Thursday, Friday allowing pets 3-5 walks a day depending on their schedule. On weekends I am free all day! I have a comfy suv for transportation as needed and am very respectful of clients rules and regulations of how they choose to care for and love their fur babies

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
