About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s needs, whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, giving medication, or simply keeping them company. I understand how important pets are to families, so I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I’m also dependable, communicative, and willing to follow any special routines or instructions to keep your pet happy. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My daughter attends daycare during the day, which gives me plenty of time to focus on caring for pets, including walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and keeping them comfortable and happy throughout the day. I always make sure pets are cared for in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I’m patient, responsible, and understand that every pet has different needs and personalities. My goal is to make pets feel secure, loved, and stress-free while in my care.
About: I have experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors, and I can even administer medications, if needed. To me this won't just be another job or a check-in, I want to get to know your dog, cuddle them, and have playtime with them for enrichment. Puppies each have their own personalities and I have taken care of pups with challenging and sassy personalities, including my own 6 month old coonhound who is super independent. I can train puppies, so if you are working long hours and need help with potty training, crate training, or mastering basic commands such as sit, I would love to help you with that while I'm there! My schedule is currently open for the entire summer, Monday through Sunday. If I am needed early morning hours or late evening hours, I am also open to discussing this. During in-home check-ins for dogs, only with your approval, I will give your pup treats for training purposes. Typically I will use single pieces of your dog's kibble to motivate them in learning commands. When it comes to cats, if you are hiring me to take care of your cat while you are gone for work or a trip, I will treat them as an indoor-only cat, no exceptions.

“Maricel was quick to reply on my questions and also did a quick meet and greet to go over my pet's needs. She did a great job checking-in with summer while I was at work ?. Summer can't wait to see you next time Maricel. We appreciate you!”

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life and love caring for them like they’re my own. I’ve watched pets for family and friends from dogs, cats, and even a full house of 10! Whether it’s playtime, walks, or snuggles, they’re in good hands with me! I'm currently in school, but I have plenty of time after classes and on weekends to care for and walk pets. Spending time with animals is the best part of my day! When caring for your pet, I’ll treat them like family—making sure they’re safe, happy, and loved. I’ll stick to their routine, give them plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I’ll also keep your home tidy and respectful, just as you left it. You can count on me to send updates so you know your pet is in good hands!
“Absolutely wonderful! She took great care of my dog and made sure my 6-week-old kitten was fed and cared for while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pets were in such loving and reliable hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs , (many) cats , even several hamsters since I was a child . I’ve always had a deep love for all animals for as long as I can remember . I’m also a mom and I feel like my maternal instincts also extend to animals as if they’re my little fur babies . I currently live with 4 cats and I babysit my sisters puppy regularly . I’ve raised kittens and puppies as well as taken care of senior pets as well! I currently work from home and homeschool my daughter a few days a week which gives me the flexibility to provide pet care as a seamless part of my day. Whether it’s walks and check ins or making sure your pet is safe and cared for while you’re away , I have the time and flexibility to provide that . When it comes to watching your fur baby in your home , I will follow your lead and whatever instructions you leave for me on how to best care for your pet , I will adhere to! As always, I will treat your pet and your home with the upmost love and respect .
“Andrew was a great fit right from the beginning. He has a great nature with animals and and our (not friendly at first) dog warmed right up to him. He was diligent about making sure our baby was taken care of and went above and beyond what we asked of him. We could not have been more at ease leaving for the weekend knowing our family member was taken care of and loved on. Andrew is exceptional and I will definitely use his services above anyone else.”

“Megan is amazing! She went above and beyond for Remi and I. I appreciate her so much. Remi got super comfortable with her immediately and is happy to see her when he does. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Brittany took great care of our two cats and we felt so reassured that both warmed up to her so quickly. Her communication was fantastic and we look forward to using her next time we travel!”

“Joy is such a wonderful soul. She will be my go to person when available. She is accommodating and professional. I only wanted my fur baby to be fed and she did that and also cleaned his litter box and showed him love. Joy went above and beyond. Thank you”

About: If I could own 20 dogs, I would! We have a Boston and Aussie mix of our own and an American Bully puppy. Dogs bring such joy to me with their unique personalities. I'm available full time Sunday to Saturday to watch your furbaby. I'm an active runner and walker so if you'd like I'd be happy to take your pup on a walk with me at appropriate times of the day. We have a partially fenced in backyard and private gate around the pool. We can walk your dog on a leash or let them loose in the backyard. We have 2 large crates that can be provided. Sibling fur buddies can stay in crate together or separate per your request. Our pets are part of our family.
“Lori was awesome! She went above and beyond. She stayed with our little dog during a thunderstorm and made sure he made it out to do his business before the storm started. We will definitely use her again!”

“Laurie was great with our puppy even though she was a little extra than she normally is. But she took care of everything and more. Would definitely book again!”

About: I have taken care of my parents dogs since I was 8, I have been asked to dog sit my aunts dogs multiple times, and have taken care of friends dogs (they had three) during days they were at work for a month. I also have a pet tortoise that I have been taking care of for 6.5 years. I work full time so I would have the availability to do pet care before and after work. On the weekends I would be able to spend more time taking pets on longer walks or playing with them more. I care for my pets in my home as they are my kid, I make sure they’re fed and live in a clean environment and I give the best life to them as possible.
“Caitlin is wonderful. We were stranded out of town for 48 extra hours on our trip and she stepped right up, taking great care of our dog on those unexpected days. We always have a little anxiety leaving our elder dog and then to have extra days on top - but Caitlin communicates with each visit and provides photos so we can see our old girl is doing just fine. Thank you!!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Benson Junction. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
