“We had such a great experiences! They took amazing care of our dogs and treated them like they were there own. We got updates, pictures, and could tell they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable!”

“Katie was wonderful with my cats. One of them is very timid and scared of new people and Katie went out of her way to make him feel comfortable. She was very good with communication throughout the process and I will definitely be asking her to watch th again!”

“Avery was awesome as always! She dropped in on my 2 kitties, and made sure they were loved, had food and gave them lots of attention. We will always be using her when we need care 🐈⬛🐈⬛”

“Kenzie went above and beyond! She took care of our pup like she was her own. She was even kind enough to add on my mom’s dog last minute for the check ins. She spent so much time caring and loving on them. We came home to happier dogs then when we had left.”

“Maricel is the absolute best! She is such a great communicator and makes sure to provide very detailed cards for each visit. I feel so much better knowing Maricel is taking care of my sweet baby while I’m away. I would highly recommend her to care for their babies!”

“Liz was amazing! I had to leave my little old lady kitty for an extended time and she required meds twice a day for her thyroid. Having Liz checking in and sending photos made my time away less stressful.”

When it comes to watching your fur baby in your home , I will follow your lead and whatever instructions you leave for me on how to best care for your pet , I will adhere to! “Laurie stepped in for us last minute and was both prompt and efficient. She kept us updated throughout and sent plenty of photos of our pups while we were out of town, which we really appreciated.”

“Andrew was a great fit right from the beginning. He has a great nature with animals and and our (not friendly at first) dog warmed right up to him. He was diligent about making sure our baby was taken care of and went above and beyond what we asked of him. We could not have been more at ease leaving for the weekend knowing our family member was taken care of and loved on. Andrew is exceptional and I will definitely use his services above anyone else.”

“Melanie is the absolute best with our Zeus and is an awesome person with the most beautiful spirit. What a blessing it is for God to have blessed us with her as an addition to our family. We will always be calling on her for Zeus from now on. Thanks Melanie awesome job.”

“Great job! Took care of my babies due to a family emergency and last minute notice. Stephanie was prompt and had great communication. Took pictures snd kept me informed. Will definitely recommend.”

“Couldn’t have asked for more out of a sitter! Kristi is super friendly and connected right away with Elliott during our meet and greet. Kristi kept me updated with how her visit was going with Elliott, what they were doing and sent pictures. I will definitely be utilizing her services again!!!”
“Since this was my first time using Rover, I was a little bit nervous, but Kacie was very responsive and professional and helpful! She did an excellent job taking care of our two dogs, and I could tell from the pictures that she sent at each of the drop in visits that our dogs loved her, too! It made it so easy to not have to worry that they were being well taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely use her services again!”

About: Hi, my name's Isabelle! I grew up with two huskies, one mix and one full-bred rescue. Walking two huskies at once is something I learned to do, and while it wasn't easy, it was definitely rewarding! I currently have one cat of my own and help care for my father-in-law's cat, too. I miss having dogs so much that I decided to get into the dog-walking business. I would like to emphasize that I do NOT have formal training, just some experience with owning large dogs. If you want someone that'll drop in for play-time with your pups, or to take them on a good, long walk, I'm here to help! Cats also welcome! I am interested in helping local pet-owners take care of their critters, and my schedule is wide open. Please contact me a week or so in advance and we can plan your pet's care. I can drop in to play with your pet, or I can walk them. When I first meet any animal, I give them space to greet me on their terms, get my smell, and get comfortable before I move forward with any playtime or putting on a leash. I am careful to study their body language to make sure they are comfortable with me in their space. Even the friendliest dogs need a second to make a friend!
“Justine D. did a super great job! We are so pleased and happy to have had her, she cared for our cats water, food, and litter and gave them extra love and attention, definitely will have her again. It's a good feeling when out of town to not worry about our pets, they were well taken care of with Justine.”

About: I have worked with dogs and horses for years and I believe every dog will remember me the rest of their lives because they will love me! I am retired and on a self love journey and I want to share that with animals and spend my days petting them and make them behave when needed. I will follow your instructions to the fullest extent possible while taking care of your pets. I can walk the tiny ones or the big ones. I love big dogs!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
