“Maricela saved me at the last minute when my pet sitter plans fell through. She kept me updated with pictures and letting me know how the puppies were doing. I definitely plan on using her services again. Thank you!!!”

“Shea was so awesome and such a lifesaver for us for our dog when we went on vacation this summer! I really wanted her to stay home since she's 8 and is more comfortable in her own environment. Shea was exactly who we needed! She was great with our dog and relayed images and check-ins with us regularly which I appreciated. She took the time to schedule in affection every day with our dog which is huge for our boxer mix. Such a nice sitter; she even helped me with some vegetables that were fruiting while we were gone which was so thoughtful! We will definitely be using Shea for all of our future dogsitting needs.”

“We had such a great experiences! They took amazing care of our dogs and treated them like they were there own. We got updates, pictures, and could tell they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable!”

“Kristina did amazing as always with my Cain! He had a hurt knee so he can’t do much right now, so it’s nice to have someone who can drop by and spend time with him when I’m not home. He LOVES it when Kristina comes over, and she sends me the cutest photos of him! She usually cares for him and his brother and they’re a handful, but today we took his brother to the vet and needed her help with Cain.”

“This was our first time using Rover and having a sitter outside of friends/family. All the reviews were true - Brittany is/was fantastic. Everything from the initial meet and greet to the report card and photos made this a great experience for us and our boys. We will definitely be reaching out to Brittany when we need a sitter in the future.”

“Joy is amazing. She’s very communicative, responsible, and the kitties took to her very well. She even cleaned up after the youngest decided to unlearn the litter box while we were away, which we appreciate very much. 10/10 sitter ❤️”

“Morgan did a great job taking care of our outdoor neighborhood cats. She even managed to get pictures of them nearly every day. I can tell Morgan loves animals and genuinely cared about taking care of Vader and our sometimes porch cat Alexander.”

“Stephanie has done an amazing and wonderful job sitting for our cat. She is an excellent communicator and so very helpful in every way. We will continue to hire her for all our cat sitting so long as she will have us! A great experience overall!”

“Haley stopped in to check on our cats for a few days, and we are so grateful! She played and took care of our kitties and sent great notes/pictures each day. We are always missing our cats when we travel, so knowing they were in good hands made us feel so much better. Thank you Haley!”

About: I have had a strong care for animals ever since I was young, whether they were my own or not. I have had pets since I was 5 and have animal sat for 4+ years now before getting onto rover. I love animals and wanted to push my services further now that I am older and more experienced! animals with medication needs, young babies, or even senior pups, are all welcome by me and are never seen as a hassle :) I am also very comfortable with watching chickens, bunnies, pigs, and goats! My goal is to build trust with you and your pet and love them as my own. I understand that a safe comfortable environment is a must for your fur baby! I am an upcoming college student who just graduated from high school. I plan on attending school in the fall, so my summer will be free! i’m available for drop ins, house sitting, walks, and doggy baths! Following instructions that accommodate the owners pet has never been an issue for me. I have dog and cat sat many times and know everyone has their own parenting preferences; whether that be crating a dog at night, timely feedings, or medications needed. I strive to care for your animals as if they are my own :)
About: Hi! My name is Brandy! I have a certificate for zoo and domestic animal care from yavapai college in Arizona. I am also a dog owner of 11 years. I have certified both my dogs through the petsmart training courses. I have learned a lot through school and owning dogs of my own and have always had a passion for animals. Thanks so much for considering me for your furry babies! I am a server working part time and am looking for a way to make a little extra money on the side doing something I love! I am available for dog walking Monday-Sunday anytime before 2:30 and available Monday-Wednesday for overnights or whatever you may need as those are my days off. I will not be able to board any animals as I have a bit of a reactive border collie at my house but am available to come to your house for your needs

“This is our 3rd time using Jordan as our dog sitter. We love her and trust her. She is very patient with our girl, onyx. I love that she spends quality time with both of our dogs while we’re away.”

“Emilie was great! We booked her for drop-in visits on short notice, and she responded very quickly and communicated very well. During the visits, she took lots of photos, and even offered to clean up a couple messes that the pups made in the house. I’d highly recommend her again for drop in service!”
“Since this was my first time using Rover, I was a little bit nervous, but Kacie was very responsive and professional and helpful! She did an excellent job taking care of our two dogs, and I could tell from the pictures that she sent at each of the drop in visits that our dogs loved her, too! It made it so easy to not have to worry that they were being well taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely use her services again!”

“Laurie stepped in for us last minute and was both prompt and efficient. She kept us updated throughout and sent plenty of photos of our pups while we were out of town, which we really appreciated.”

“Saily has been accommodating in making any last minute changes to my schedule. She has been wonderful woth my past cats and now currently with my boy luca. She always leaves photos and checks in and communicates very well with me on every visit. Always a pleasure to have her around my kitties.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
