Pet care experience

My heart belongs to the animals.

Hello, my name is Anne, but you can call me Annie! I’m 24 years old and recently earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. I’ll soon be working toward my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My passion for helping others extends to animals, and I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I’ve been around dogs since I was 7 years old, when I got my first dog, and since then I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for pets in both professional and personal settings. I’ve worked at an exotic pet store and at two dog daycares, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I also have experience with basic training and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. Every pet has their own unique personality, and getting to know what makes them feel happy, safe, and loved is my favorite part of pet care. Whether your pet loves to play, explore, cuddle, or simply relax with a calm companion, I’ll care for them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I’d want for my own.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a two story home with a fenced in back yard and a screened in porch. I currently have an almost 2 year old golden retriever that loves other dogs. While I do not provide boarding at this time, I am willing to bring my dog per clients' request if your dog needs a friend!

House Sitting • Jul 20, 2026

Anne was able to help me out while I was in a pinch, had a sitter bail out on day 2 of 6 of my vacation and she was able to take care of the dog with no headache for me. She sent picture updates of the dog and also took great care of him. I highly recommend this sitter! Thank you!
