About: I have loved animals since I was a baby, I’ve volunteered at shelters and fostered animals of all shapes and sizes. I have also worked at a vets office giving me knowledge about the safety and health of our pets! I am a full time college student but I have a very flexible schedule allowing me to be home and available everyday and I’m never gone for more then 3 hours! I live in a pet friendly apartment with a dog park located directly downstairs as well as lots of trails and fields to run in!

About: My husband Ryan and I have an extremely well-behaved blue healer mix, Jolene, who is seeking some new friends! We do have cats, but we have two floors and can separate the cats and our dogs quite easily. We live right next to a long trail, and we will wake up early or stay up late to walk our pups in good weather. We also have a garage we cool with fans and the door open to allow our pups to play for a bit with plenty of water! Otherwise, they are allowed on furniture and treated like family. We have all the love to give! At least one us of (Ryan or Alyssa) will be home at all times. Your baby will never be without affection, attention, and love. Alyssa sets her own schedule & pauses to focus on animals when they stay in our home. Jolene is a fantastic play with other dogs. She matches their pace and gives them space. She's incredibly well-behaved and submissive in play. In our home, we live to ensure our animals live a healthy, happy, and inclusive environment. We allow pets in bed, on the furniture, and follow all instructions provided by their owner. We understand that every owner has their own preferences, & we will take your guidance in feeding, vitamins, special needs, bathroom breaks, etc. When we have animals stay with us, it becomes a full-time job for us so our furry friends can't wait to come back again!

About: I’ve always had pets growing up. I used to volunteer at a dog shelter. I just personally love animals and are really good with animals I work part time but I have a very flexible schedule, I’d always make time to take care of pets when needed. About: I’ve taken care of family pets since I was a young teenager and have since taken care of my own fur babies for the past 8 years. I also have veterinary experience as I currently am a Veterinary Assistant with 3 years of experience. You can rest assured that your pets are safe with me and would be treated as my own. I understand from first hand experience with my own that each fur baby can be different and require additional needs, I am willing and capable of catering the service I provide to be as best as it can for your particular fur baby. Comfortable and experienced with Dogs, Cats, and some smaller exotics (Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, etc). I currently work full-time at a vet clinic, however, I am fully available Wednesdays and Sundays with 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month being available as well. Even with work, I am able to make early morning, afternoon, and evening trips during my work days as well, if needed, as I start at 8am, take lunch 12-1pm and then am off by 6pm. For boarding stays, your fur-baby will be in their own dedicated room that will contain their food, water, bedding, and any additional necessities you’d like them to have with them. Mondays and Saturdays are the only days they would be by themselves in their room, however, they would still be taken out in the morning (before 7:30am), during my lunch break (12-1pm), and after work (6pm). The rest of the week, my partner (who also has been in the veterinary field) works from home in the same room your fur-baby would stay in and will be assisting with monitoring them while I’m away for work. I have experience with strict and more relaxed feeding instructions and specifications. I also have experience giving medications as well as bathing. From fenced backyards to leashed potty-breaks, I have you covered. While I have my own fur-babies, you can rest assure that your own baby will be kept in their dedicated room while staying for boarding with us (unless specifically given approval to mingle with my fur-babies during potty-time/play-time)

Madison took excellent care of Minifeli. He is very shy and hides when someone arrives, but he came out every time Madison visited him. When we returned from our trip, Minifeli was calm and happy. She took great care of him. She also sent us photos of him every day. I will call her again next time.
Ella did an amazing job watching my dog, Oshie! She kept me well informed throughout the visits and sent regular updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. Melissa took such great care of my fur babies! She spent a lot of time with them during her check in and made sure they got a long walk and plenty of time in the backyard. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
