“Rose did an excellent job caring for our dog. She kept us updated with great communication throughout our vacation, which gave us so much peace of mind. We felt completely comfortable knowing our dog was in her care. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I've been around animals my entire life and have grown up with nine family dogs of all different sizes, breeds, and personalities. My experience includes German Shepherds, Shih Tzus, Labradors, and many rescue dogs with mixes including Pit Bull, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, Jack Russell Terrier, and more. Caring for dogs with different temperaments has taught me that every pet has unique needs, and I enjoy getting to know each one's personality. I also volunteered at Second Chance Animal Rescue near Orlando, where I walked and fed dogs, cared for cats, and even looked after the occasional peacock! Although I can't currently have pets of my own because I'm renting, I spend as much time with animals as I can by caring for my sister's dogs, my aunt's Labrador, and pets belonging to friends and family. I'm happy to provide long or short walks and drop-in visits. I love sending photo updates and keeping owners informed throughout every visit, including when I arrive, when I leave, and if I notice anything that should be communicated. I also welcome detailed care instructions because I want to make sure your pet's routine stays as consistent and comfortable as possible. Having cared for dogs with anxiety and PTSD, I understand the importance of patience, staying calm, and earning a pet's trust at their own pace. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower, quieter approach, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. As a graduate student with two part-time jobs, spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to recharge during the week. Going for walks, getting outside, and giving pets my full attention is a refreshing break from studying and work, so pet care naturally fits into my routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to walks and drop-in visits without feeling rushed. Whether it's a quick potty break, a long walk, or simply keeping your pet company, I make sure every visit gets my full attention. Caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to, and I love building relationships with both pets and their owners through dependable care, clear communication, and plenty of photo updates. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I understand how much trust it takes to invite someone into your home and care for a beloved family member, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll follow your instructions closely, respect your home, and make sure your pet receives attentive, dependable care every visit. Whether your dog loves long walks, prefers a slow sniff around the neighborhood, or needs extra patience and reassurance, I'll tailor each visit to their individual needs. You'll also receive plenty of photos and updates, so you can relax knowing exactly how your pet is doing while you're away.
About: Hello dear pet parents – and a big hello to your furry friend! My name is Anna, and animals—especially dogs—have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. When I was just six years old, I wanted a dog so badly that I persistently convinced my parents until they finally agreed. Having my very own dog instead of only our neighbors’ dogs was a dream come true. My first dog was a Golden Retriever. We attended dog training classes together, and she—along with a few more dogs later on (yes, there were more, lol)—accompanied me throughout my childhood and teenage years. From that early age on, I felt a deep and special connection with dogs / pets. Today, pets are still a central part of my life. We currently share our home with our two wonderful dogs, Zazou and Simba, as well as our sweet cats Chiara and Mogli. I’ve spent many years volunteering at animal shelters. When working with dogs, I use only positive reinforcement. Kindness, patience, and respect are the foundation of everything I do. During my drop-in visits or walking sessions, I tail-or the time exactly to your dog's needs: we can go for nice, structured walks through your neighborhood or nearby parks, have fun playtime, or simply do a quick potty break in your yard followed by lots of cuddles and mental stimulation. Your routine is my priority. Big or small, young or old—every animal is welcome and will be treated with the love, care, and respect they truly deserve. I’m extremely reliable, organized, and respectful of your home. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved companion! With love and lots of tail wags, Anna I’m currently a SAHM, which allows me to organize my day in a way that works well for both my family and the pets I care for. We have a nice, fenced backyard where the dogs can play freely, relax in the sun, or cool off in our doggy pool during the hot summer days—it’s a safe, happy space for them to enjoy.
“Jenna was prompt, communicative and very quick to make friends with our pup. She asked lots of great questions about our pup’s habits and needs. We have already booked several more appointments and know that our pup will be well cared for!”

“We have booked with Christian now for a few months and have had a stellar experience time and time again! He is quick to respond and always takes great care of our dogs. We are so grateful for Christian and would recommend him to everyone!”

“Jackie took such good care of our dogs, she listening to all the details of the care instructions, and took great care and consideration of our home. She truly went above and beyond and made us feel totally at ease that our pups and home were in good hands!! Thanks you Jackie!”

“Rachel is a joy to work with, and caters her services in a way that puts your mind at ease regarding your pet. I recently had something come up last minute, and was quickly able to schedule Rachel last minute. She is very knowledgeable about different needs and requirements of any situation, and is very flexible with working with you and your pet. Will definitely be rebooking consistently, and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for someone who’s level of professionalism matches the incredible level of care for your pet.”

“I’m so grateful! I sent a last-minute request early in the morning for same-day walks, and they were able to accommodate both times without any issues. They arrived promptly and clearly care about the dogs they work with. They even brought treats along. Highly recommend!”

“Roman always provides great service, very good communication, always on time, and best of all our fur babies love him. They get so excited when they hear him at the door ! I highly recommend Roman.”

“Carolina was friendly, clearly loves dogs, and followed through with all my requests for the dog walk. She took very good care of our four-legged family member. I will be using her again.”
“Cristina is amazing. She comes through for me always and helps me out a lot. There have been several times at the last minute she has been able to bail me out with emergency coverage and is just the best.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and recently discovered a love for cats, thanks to my girlfriend, an animal lover who shares my passion and helps care for the pets we sit. Together, we bring a calm, caring, and experienced presence to every pet we meet. I’ve cared for animals as young as 1 week old and as senior as 19 years. I offer basic training for both dogs and cats (sit, lay, paw) and have experience administering pills and liquid medication when needed. Whether it’s a playful pup, a shy cat, or a senior pet with special needs, I provide trustworthy, loving care tailored to each animal’s age and personality. I’m a full-time Computer Science student, so I’m home pretty much all the time, working on school. My girlfriend is also home a lot, so your pet will always have someone around to keep them company. Whether it's playtime, cuddles, or just chilling together, your furry friend will get all the attention they need! I understand how important it is to have someone reliable looking after your pets while you're away. I live in a cozy 2 bedroom apartment, and I’m home most of the time, so your pets will always be under supervision in a safe, clean, and loving environment. Whether you prefer care in my home, yours, or a mix of both, I offer flexible options to fit your needs. I can stay at your house to keep your pets comfortable in their familiar surroundings, or if you'd like them to have a change of scenery, they’re welcome to come to my home for a stay. If you're looking for something more short-term, I can also do drop-in visits to feed, play, and check in on them. Rest assured, your pet will receive plenty of attention, love, and care, just like they would at home.
“Sam is the sweetest and has taken such great care of our lab/pit mix while we’ve been out of town. I can tell our pup loves his new friend and is so happy after each walk with her. Thank you, Sam! 💜 🐾”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Slavia
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Cassandra taking care of our dog, Hiro. From the very first visit, she was incredibly attentive, responsible, and thoughtful. She was detailed and reassuring. She carefully monitored Hiro’s leash behavior, bathroom habits, eating, and water intake, and always kept us informed of anything out of the ordinary. She went above and beyond to make sure Hiro was comfortable and hydrated, even hand-holding his water bowl when he wasn’t drinking enough. She also made sure he was fed properly, got plenty of pets, and even playtime. It was very clear how much she genuinely cared about Hiro’s well-being. On top of being an excellent caregiver, she was flexible, easy to communicate with, and honestly a joy to work with. Her updates were not only thorough but also funny and lighthearted, such as the bonus cat photos always made us smile. We trust her diligence taking care of our dog. We couldn’t recommend her more highly and would absolutely book her again without hesitation!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
