About: Hey, my name's Jess and I'm pumped to be on Rover! Here's a quick bit about me. I've been an animal lover forever. I've had dogs my entire life, so I have some substantial experience there and I've had cats nearly just as long. I have experience walking dogs and dog sitting in peoples' homes and my clients, so far, have always become repeat clients (which I love because I love the chance to see the furbabies again and again). I currently have a cat named Gordito, and he is my life. He’s 17 now and requires a lot of extra care, so I’m used to anything your pet may need. Also, I have a calm aura that pets seem to really appreciate. I have no doubt that your pet and I would get along fantastic. I'm not a dog or a cat person, I'm a dog AND cat person. Seriously, they're both such amazing animals in their own ways. I'm just an animal person in general. My schedule is extremely flexible as I work from home. I'm open to any breeds and have experience with young, old, low-energy, and high-energy dogs. I have the energy to keep up with whatever level your pet is at! About: I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. In my house i’ve never had less than 4 animals in my household including dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters and fish. I’ve been dog sitting and cat sitting since around 14. I’ve stayed in homes for multiple days at a time and I can check in every hour if needed. I love spending my time with animals and making them feel as comfortable as possible while their owner is away. I’m currently home for the summer just taking online summer classes. I will be available every day of the week and at any time during the day. I can take ur dogs on short or longs walks depending on preference as well as the dog park if they like. I can crate your animals at your house. I can clean any messes the animals may make including potty accidents, water spills or knocked over plants. I offer check in’s however many times you would like throughout the day. I offer sleep-in services if your animals needs company the entire time you’re away. I can clean cat litter.

About: I have grown up taking care of my Rottweiler/Doberman since she was 10 weeks old and is now 13 years old. Big dogs are not a problem as I am not scared of them since I have grown up with one. I know how much dogs love walking and running and I love to do it with them. I have a love for all dogs big and small and enjoy even the hardest dogs to handle. With being young I can be very active with the dogs and playing with them to ensure full enjoyment. I hope to walk your dog very soon! I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible when it comes to caring for your pet! Just ask and I will see how I can help! I lived in a gated community and have extra space for a dog inside. About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life! I am currently a cat mom to a long-haired tuxie with a big personality. I have helped my family raise two high-energy Australian shepherds, given insulin shots to diabetic cats and dogs, walked big dogs who like to pull hard, and taken time with senior dogs who are slow and stubborn. I have cared for my own kittens and puppies from baby to senior adults. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and love spending my time with furry friends. I just graduated with my PhD and am currently job hunting, so I have lots of availability to care for your sweet pets! I am happy to stop by throughout the day, go for walks, and sit with your animals so they're not alone. My goal is to be very thorough with your pets routine. When possible, I would like to set up a meet and greet and learn where all food/treats/toys/medicine/litter/crate, etc is kept. I also will be sure to collect vet information, in case of emergency. I will make sure fences are shut or animals are properly leashed before going outside. I also want to make sure pets stay in their designated areas and follow your instructions for them. I am also used to cleaning up after pets, so that's not a problem either!

I understand the difficulty in choosing a pet sitter for when you are away and provide exceptional care for that reason. I have a small house with a fenced yard so your dog can run around outside. I have one male unneutered dog and a cat. Typically we go on a 40 minute walk in the evenings after the sun has set. Inside the house I have baby gates that can be put up if needed.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve had pets my entire life and currently have a senior dog, so I’m comfortable providing the extra patience, attention, and care that older pets need. I’ve also cared for kittens multiple times and understand how much supervision and gentle care they require. I’ve experienced caring for a dog with cancer as well, so I’m comfortable being attentive to pets with illnesses or special needs. I treat every pet like my own and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have classes 12-3pm tuesdays and thursdays at UCF! I am in a sorority so I do have events or similar obligations. I am available monday, wed, saturday and sunday DAYS! I prioritize safety, comfort, and keeping pets on their normal routine. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention and supervision. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific routines. I always make sure doors and gates are secure and that pets are never left in an unsafe situation. My goal is for every pet to feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while their owner is away.

About: Usually when people small talk, the topic of animals comes up. “What type of pets do you have??”. Nothing prepares them for the “Oh!! I have a bearded dragon, ball python, cockatiel, and toads…I also foster dogs and cats”, sentence. Their faces never get old 😅. You heard me right though! Not only have I owned cats/dogs, I also pride myself in having owned a vast variety of reptiles/amphibians/avian/small mammals over the years. I have been fostering both cats/dogs for the past year as well. Providing me with experience in grooming, bathing, administering meds, enrichment, and attention. I’ve dealt with many emergent situations, strengthening my knowledge and preparedness with any animal. Why stop at just cats and dogs when you could enjoy so much more? What separates me from other sitters are the platters I’ve already been dealt. Fostering, as well as owning non traditional animals, has thrown me for several loops that I would’ve never experienced by just owning a cat or dog. Pet care is the majority, if not all of my daily housework. When I foster animals, all of them need hourly upkeep on food, medicine, and play time. Easily translatable to your pet! My apartment is deep cleaned on a weekly basis; a necessity when caring for many animals. I value a organized, clean space for all my animals. I care for pets by providing basic necessities, plenty of toys, and a loving space for them to thrive in. My animals receive weekly, if not daily, wellness checks. I check for weight loss, dehydration, fleas/lice, nail length, and matting. When feeding, I make sure everyone gets proper nutrition (with a few treats ;)) and there are no signs of fatigue or unwillingness to eat. Proper behavioral signs are noted, and I can catch on to behavior that is abnormal and needs attention.
