“Lee-Ann is a very caring person. She really cares about my baby. She asks me about his well-being. I really love and appreciate the videos and pictures she takes of him. It's been a blessing to our lives!! Thank you!”

About: I ran a local pet sitting business for six years until moving to UCF where I am pursuing a business degree to eventually run my own equestrian business. I have grown up caring for lots of my own animals as well as working as others pets. I have experience with horses, dogs, and cats and basic obedience training. This summer I will be working four days a week in Tampa and will be in Orlando Fridays-Sundays with an open schedule. I would love to fill my time with pet sitting and want to make money to help take care of my senior horse. I always do everything I can to make the animals I’m caring for feel safe and comfortable. I think it’s important to always be patient with animals and give them love.

About: Part time stay at home mom with a lot of love to give! Able to care for your dogs as if they were my own. Walks are only done during the early morning and evening hours, to avoid the heat of the day. I feed according to the instructions provided by the owners to keep up the dogs routines. I can provide lots of pets, cuddles, walks, engagement with toys, and can do misc things like comb their fur out. I have a fenced yard and my cats are indoor. We do let them go outside supervised on occasion. I own a crate just in case I ever needed one but I don't personally crate my pets. Wouldn't mind doing it if that is what's being asked of me. I would honestly just do whatever is being requested by the owners as to not break any routines or habits the dog(s) may have.

“The care of my dogs is so important to me. Jin made my dogs so comfortable in her presence. She sent detailed pictures and reports of their day! I am very grateful that she was with my dogs for the weekend!!!”

“Clara has been such a bright light in our Taco’s life! Everyday, he waits for her by the door because he wants to see his Clara! It’s soo cute. We even just say her name and he tilts his head like “you’re saying one of my favorite words”. Clara is dependable, caring, and so amazing to our boy. She treats him like one of her own. She also brings her Lukas sometimes to give Taco company because we cannot have another dog right now. She stimulates Taco’s brain and gets him moving and running around like crazy during their walk which helps me sooooo much as a work from home dog mother who has back to back meetings all day. When he comes home, he’s relaxed and sleeps until my lunch break when we can go out again! It’s been such a help for our family because Taco knows his schedule! I found the best person ever with Clara and I would recommend her to ANYONE who needs a kind, loving friend for their puppy. Thank you so much, Claraaaa! We love you!”

About: Dog Care Experience I have been caring for dogs professionally for over five years, but my experience goes back even further—I started dog walking at 11, turning my passion for animals into a responsibility I take seriously. Through pet sitting and dog walking, I have worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I prioritize their individual needs, whether that means providing high-energy playtime, gentle walks for senior dogs, or extra patience with shy or reactive pups. My experience includes: • Daily Walks & Exercise: Ensuring dogs get the right amount of physical activity to keep them happy and healthy. • Feeding & Medication Administration: Following specific dietary needs and schedules, including giving oral medications when required. • Behavior & Training Reinforcement: Using positive reinforcement to encourage good manners and maintain consistency in training. • Comfort & Companionship: Providing plenty of affection and engagement to keep dogs relaxed and content while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I tailor my care to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. Since I’ve been around animals for most of my life, I’ve developed a schedule that ensures they receive the attention and care they need. • Daily: I set aside time for feeding, walks, playtime, and any necessary medication administration. Whether it’s a morning dog walk, checking in on a pet sitting client, or spending time socializing rescue cats, I make sure every pet gets the care they deserve. • Weekly: I balance multiple pet care responsibilities, including scheduled pet sitting visits, dog walks, and volunteer work with Catapolooza. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate both short-term and long-term care needs, ensuring that pets remain comfortable and stress-free in their environments. No matter the schedule, I prioritize reliability, consistency, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Safety, Trust & Environment Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my top priorities are their safety, comfort, and well-being. • Building Trust: I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, preferences, and routine to ensure a stress-free experience. I move at their pace, especially with shy or anxious pets, and use positive reinforcement to build trust. • Safe Environment: In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely, keeping pets on their regular schedule and ensuring their space remains secure and hazard-free. I check doors, gates, and leashes for safety, and I’m mindful of potential household dangers like toxic plants or small objects. • Comfort & Well-being: I provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and companionship to keep pets happy and engaged. Whether it’s a relaxing cuddle session with a cat, a stimulating walk for a dog, or following special feeding instructions, I prioritize their needs. • Emergency Preparedness: I stay alert for any signs of illness or distress and am prepared to follow emergency protocols if needed. I ensure I have vet contact information and know the nearest emergency clinic for each pet I care for. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own—providing them with the love, patience, and care they deserve.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve had pets my entire life and currently have a senior dog, so I’m comfortable providing the extra patience, attention, and care that older pets need. I’ve also cared for kittens multiple times and understand how much supervision and gentle care they require. I’ve experienced caring for a dog with cancer as well, so I’m comfortable being attentive to pets with illnesses or special needs. I treat every pet like my own and want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have classes 12-3pm tuesdays and thursdays at UCF! I am in a sorority so I do have events or similar obligations. I am available monday, wed, saturday and sunday DAYS! I prioritize safety, comfort, and keeping pets on their normal routine. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention and supervision. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any specific routines. I always make sure doors and gates are secure and that pets are never left in an unsafe situation. My goal is for every pet to feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while their owner is away.
“Dayanne is my go to sitter. She does a wonderful job and is always professional. Phenomenal communication skills. My dog loves her and she always provides me with tons of photos! I would 💯 recommend booking her and will continue to rebook her services. 🐩”

About: Hey, my name's Jess and I'm pumped to be on Rover! Here's a quick bit about me. I've been an animal lover forever. I've had dogs my entire life, so I have some substantial experience there and I've had cats nearly just as long. I have experience walking dogs and dog sitting in peoples' homes and my clients, so far, have always become repeat clients (which I love because I love the chance to see the furbabies again and again). I currently have a cat named Gordito, and he is my life. He’s 17 now and requires a lot of extra care, so I’m used to anything your pet may need. Also, I have a calm aura that pets seem to really appreciate. I have no doubt that your pet and I would get along fantastic. I'm not a dog or a cat person, I'm a dog AND cat person. Seriously, they're both such amazing animals in their own ways. I'm just an animal person in general. My schedule is extremely flexible as I work from home. I'm open to any breeds and have experience with young, old, low-energy, and high-energy dogs. I have the energy to keep up with whatever level your pet is at! They'll always get plenty of love, playtime, and exercise while I'm around. I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies! Feel free to message me with any questions you may have.

“I can’t recommend Shirel enough! My regular dog walker wasn’t available, and Shirel stepped in and helped me out - even though she had never met my dog before. From the very first walk, everything felt so easy and reassuring. My dog absolutely loves her, and I can truly see it through the many adorable photos she sends from their walks. On top of that, the detailed walk cards are something I really adore—they give me such peace of mind and show how much care and attention she puts into every walk. It’s clear Shirel genuinely cares about the dogs she walks. I’m so grateful I found her and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with my dog again!”

“Kevin is so sweet, calm and accommodating. I have a very energetic standard poodle that tends to get over excited on walk but with Kevin she's so chill and is able to get her wiggles out with out acting crazy. We will definitely keep using Kevin whenever he's available!”

About: I've grown up around dogs of all sizes and breeds, from a pitbull to german shepherds, chihuahuas, pomeranians, etc. I also love cats. I grew up on a farm out in the country so I've dealt with all types of animals and how to care for them. I am a single mother of 2. Both are girls. I'm searching for a job that I will enjoy doing. I prefer to be around animals. They are such free spirited creatures that just love you if you love them. My favorite dogs are the mean ones. They just need a little extra love than the easy going dogs. I've never been actually bit by a dog either. Overall I'm an easy going person who loves animals alot.

About: I have grown up taking care of my Rottweiler/Doberman since she was 10 weeks old and is now 13 years old. Big dogs are not a problem as I am not scared of them since I have grown up with one. I know how much dogs love walking and running and I love to do it with them. I have a love for all dogs big and small and enjoy even the hardest dogs to handle. With being young I can be very active with the dogs and playing with them to ensure full enjoyment. I hope to walk your dog very soon! I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible when it comes to caring for your pet! Just ask and I will see how I can help! I lived in a gated community and have extra space for a dog inside. I do not have a yard for them to roam in.
“Kristine is reliable and trustworthy. I appreciate her flexibility. It was nice having peace of mind that my fur baby was in good hands and that there weren’t any issues picking him up from my home while I was at work. I highly recommend Kristine!”

Kayce did an amazing job at walking both of my two senior dogs while I was away. Trusting someone with your pets can sometimes be nerve wracking but I didn’t have to worry about them at all with her. She came to meet them before hand and to go over their needs, showed up on time, was flexible, and highly communicative. I will definitely be using Kayce again in the future and will gladly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care.

Absolutely amazing! So attentive, great communication, and the additional attention given to my dog, gave me the biggest piece of mind. My dog gets nervous usually with new people, I was worried that she would not eat when I was away, but with Colin, she felt right at home. Will definitely book again. Made my trip so much better knowing my dog winter was well taken care of.

Luana is amazing!! My pup loves her so much and we are so grateful for all of her help. Yuki is still little and growing so much week to week. She loves going on walks and running around with Luana and she gets so excited to see her and play every time. We 100% recommend her, 5 stars every time ❤️

Jessica watched my two dogs over a long weekend and it went great. My dogs immediately loved her when she came by for the meet and greet before my trip, which made me feel a lot better. Jessica sent lots of pictures and she even got my dogs to go outside and use the bathroom during a rain storm! This was my first time having someone come by and watch the dogs instead of boarding them and it went great, I will definitely book Jessica again when I need to go out of town.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
