About: Reliable and outgoing, I love animals of all sizes and shapes. From volunteering at shelters, to helping friends walk their dogs or caring for cats. I currently have a full time job, although I am available during the week days after 6pm and all weekend to play and care for your loved pets! About: I've had pets since I was born, there has almost always been at least one cat and dog in the house, and taking care of them became my job as soon as I was old enough to do chores. I've been pet sitting professionally since I was 12. I have a family I work with consistently, staying at their house for weeks at a time to care for their two dogs (one young, one senior), bearded dragons, and fish of all sizes. I've also volunteered at farms working with all kinds of animals. I have real experience with high-anxiety and reactive dogs. I lived with two rescued Rhodesian Ridgeback mixes who were majorly reactive and anxious from their previous situation. Since they loved running in the heat, I'd bike alongside one of them on-leash for miles so he could burn off all his energy. I'm a college student with in-person classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which leaves the rest of the week open for pet care. I can offer morning, afternoon, and evening visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and I'm also available for longer stays when needed. Since I only care for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible, sticking to their usual feeding schedule, walk times, and any specific instructions from their owner. I always make sure doors and gates are securely closed before and after walks, keep an eye out for hazards around the house, and never leave a pet unsupervised in a way that could put them at risk. Mya is a WONDERFUL dog sitter! She stayed with our girls at our house and virtually never left them alone! She played their favorite games with them and just gave them good loving attention. She is one of the few who have been able to follow our complicated feeding process. She sent us lots of pictures, left the house perfect and is just a really sweet person. I highly recommend her!
