I am new to Rover as a dog walker and am looking for the opportunity to get started caring for dogs, cats, and other animals part-time. My schedule is rather flexible, so are my booking preferences. I look forward to hearing from you about your needs for your adorable pets! As you can see, there’s a furry friend in my profile photo that will be turning 16 years old this year! When beginning my pursuit of higher education, I sadly had to depart with my household dog and move far away from home. Throughout my time in college, I have provided care for many friends’ pets as the designated sitter and volunteered to walk dogs and engage with animals at local pet shelters. Due to recently completing graduate school and beginning a career, I do not have the proper resources to take care of a dog of my own full- time. However, I still have a great amount of unconditional love, belly rubs and snugs to give out to some four-legged friends! As a young professional, I consider myself to be efficient in time management and effective at communication. I understand that every pet is different and may require different needs. By nature I am attentive to detail and whatever your care needs are for your fur baby, I am confident that I will be able to adhere to their routines and be an efficient caretaker. I am currently workin a full-time job, but look forward to spending time with some furry friends on weeknights when available, or weekends where I’m most available. I am open to working with those that have long-term needs and immediate needs as my weekends are rather open to schedule changes. I am not able to board pets at my current home. However, I have access to a small dog park and am knowledgable about the public parks in the Metro-Orlando area and I am more than happy to take pets for a walk in a preferred safe location.
