“Clara was wonderful! I met her beforehand to show the feeding for my cat (diff wet foods mixed together). It was a lot more work than just a single can and she was great about it! I told her she can just put the dirty dishes and empty cans in the sink. But she went out of her way to wash the dishes and dispose of the cans. I also have a weird litter system (pine pellets so it doesn’t clump) but she was great about cleaning it out and disposing of it properly. My cat was a rescue that gets really scared and lonely. But he did warm up to her and was so affectionate! It made me feel so relieved that he was well taken care of. He has separation anxiety and she made me feel at ease. Really appreciate everything she did!!”

They were very nice and easy going when we arrived and same when coming back to pick our babies up. I also care for dogs in my home when friends go on vacation. I take in only one at a time. I’m retired and work out five days a week. I go to the gym, and do Tai Chi. Standard Booking vs Constant Care: A standard booking differs from 24/7 constant care. I’m always mindful of the dogs in my care, and if I need to step out, I keep outings short, plan them around your pup’s routine, and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and settled. If your pup needs around-the-clock supervision (for example, due to separation anxiety, medical needs, or simply extra comfort), it is a separate service level that would fall under Rover’s constant care bookings, which I offer at a flat rate of $150 per day. This rate ensures I can block off my calendar and be fully prepared to provide 24 hour care. Please make sure to note this requirement in your booking request or at our meet and greet, as fees will need to be modified prior to confirming the dates requested. Start and End Times: To help me coordinate care smoothly, please keep your start and ends times within a 1-hour window. If a wider time frame is requested, I’ll adjust it before confirming your booking. Late arrivals may be subject to additional fees or cancellation, so please communicate with me as soon as possible if your plans change. I often have other pet guests scheduled immediately before and after each visit; accurate timing is essential, so I can provide every pet the attention they deserve. Confirming a Request: Per Rover’s policy, full payment is required before your booking can be confirmed. I’m unable to hold or block off dates until payment is completed. I often receive multiple requests for the same dates, therefore bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests may be archived if payment isn’t secured within 24 hours of our meet and greet, as pending requests temporarily remove my availability from other pet parents who are searching for care. Please note, I do not receive payment from Rover until services have been fully rendered. Cancellations: I do not offer refunds for any stay canceled less than 7 days of the confirmed booking or less than 14 days of a holiday booking. About: I have been a dog lover my entire life. We got our first dog when I was 5 years old and have had them ever since. I've volunteered with local shelters and fostered many dogs. We recently lost the last of our 4 fur babies and would love to welcome yours into our home. I have been fostering both cats/dogs for the past year as well. Providing me with experience in grooming, bathing, administering meds, enrichment, and attention. I’ve dealt with many emergent situations, strengthening my knowledge and preparedness with any animal. Why stop at just cats and dogs when you could enjoy so much more? What separates me from other sitters are the platters I’ve already been dealt. Fostering, as well as owning non traditional animals, has thrown me for several loops that I would’ve never experienced by just owning a cat or dog. Pet care is the majority, if not all of my daily housework. When I foster animals, all of them need hourly upkeep on food, medicine, and play time. Easily translatable to your pet! My apartment is deep cleaned on a weekly basis; a necessity when caring for many animals. I value a organized, clean space for all my animals. I care for pets by providing basic necessities, plenty of toys, and a loving space for them to thrive in. My animals receive weekly, if not daily, wellness checks. I check for weight loss, dehydration, fleas/lice, nail length, and matting. When feeding, I make sure everyone gets proper nutrition (with a few treats ;)) and there are no signs of fatigue or unwillingness to eat. Proper behavioral signs are noted, and I can catch on to behavior that is abnormal and needs attention.
About: I'm great with senior dogs and administer medication if needed. I walk, toilet, and spend time with the dogs under my care. I love dogs! :) I have always had a dog growing up in our family. I, myself, do not own a dog. But having one growing up made me familiar with including the pet in my daily schedule. Letting the dog out to use the bathroom, feeding, walking, and play time! I follow the dogs normal routine best as I can. I am there for the pets and I provide the best care possible for them.

About: I’ve had at least one pet my whole life and have helped my family care for theirs for years. I love both deeply and have a solid understanding of their needs and wants. I can handle most sizes and breeds as I’ve cared for various kinds of dogs and cats. I currently work part-time and have primarily online classes through UCF, so I’ll have plenty of time for little furry friends on my days off, before/after class, or before work! I’m always alert to body language and communication from the pet, so they’ll always be attended to. I’m also big on making sure I don’t leave the pet needing exercise or love! I get so much joy from being near pets and will give them as much love and attention as they want!
