I’m a university student and I have classes 2 days during the week so I have plenty of time to take care of your babies! I also take care of the pets of my family and friends whenever they’re away and have boarded and does a home stay! I would approach the pet calmly using a calm voice and positive reinforcement to provide a loving relationship with them. I would also do everything I could to make them more comfortable, whether it be doing something silly that’s in their daily routine or give them extra special attention. I will always try my best to help them feel safe and taken care of!

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life! I am currently a cat mom to a long-haired tuxie with a big personality. I have helped my family raise two high-energy Australian shepherds, given insulin shots to my diabetic cats, and walked big dogs who like to pull hard. I have cared for my own kittens and puppies from baby to senior adults. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and love spending my time with furry friends. I just graduated with my PhD and am currently job hunting, so I have lots of availability to care for your sweet pets! I am happy to stop by throughout the day, go for walks, and sit with your animals so they're not alone. My goal is to be very thorough with your pets routine. When possible, I would like to set up a meet and greet and learn where all food/treats/toys/medicine/litter/crate, etc is kept. I also will be sure to collect vet information, in case of emergency. I will make sure fences are shut or animals are properly leashed before going outside. I also want to make sure pets stay in their designated areas and follow your instructions for them. I am also used to cleaning up after pets, so that's not a problem either!

About: Dog Care Experience I have been caring for dogs professionally for over five years, but my experience goes back even further—I started dog walking at 11, turning my passion for animals into a responsibility I take seriously. Through pet sitting and dog walking, I have worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I prioritize their individual needs, whether that means providing high-energy playtime, gentle walks for senior dogs, or extra patience with shy or reactive pups. My experience includes: • Daily Walks & Exercise: Ensuring dogs get the right amount of physical activity to keep them happy and healthy. • Feeding & Medication Administration: Following specific dietary needs and schedules, including giving oral medications when required. • Behavior & Training Reinforcement: Using positive reinforcement to encourage good manners and maintain consistency in training. • Comfort & Companionship: Providing plenty of affection and engagement to keep dogs relaxed and content while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I tailor my care to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. Since I’ve been around animals for most of my life, I’ve developed a schedule that ensures they receive the attention and care they need. • Daily: I set aside time for feeding, walks, playtime, and any necessary medication administration. Whether it’s a morning dog walk, checking in on a pet sitting client, or spending time socializing rescue cats, I make sure every pet gets the care they deserve. • Weekly: I balance multiple pet care responsibilities, including scheduled pet sitting visits, dog walks, and volunteer work with Catapolooza. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate both short-term and long-term care needs, ensuring that pets remain comfortable and stress-free in their environments. No matter the schedule, I prioritize reliability, consistency, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Safety, Trust & Environment Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my top priorities are their safety, comfort, and well-being. • Building Trust: I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, preferences, and routine to ensure a stress-free experience. I move at their pace, especially with shy or anxious pets, and use positive reinforcement to build trust. • Safe Environment: In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely, keeping pets on their regular schedule and ensuring their space remains secure and hazard-free. I check doors, gates, and leashes for safety, and I’m mindful of potential household dangers like toxic plants or small objects. • Comfort & Well-being: I provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and companionship to keep pets happy and engaged. Whether it’s a relaxing cuddle session with a cat, a stimulating walk for a dog, or following special feeding instructions, I prioritize their needs. • Emergency Preparedness: I stay alert for any signs of illness or distress and am prepared to follow emergency protocols if needed. I ensure I have vet contact information and know the nearest emergency clinic for each pet I care for. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own—providing them with the love, patience, and care they deserve.

About: From the time I was born, I was an animal lover. I feel that a home is incomplete without one (or several) furry friends. I am a college student currently pursuing my Master's, and have been pet-sitting for nearly half my life. Friends and family trust me to provide the best possible care to their (fur) children. I approach all animals with patience and kindness, no matter their comfort level with strangers. To me, your pets are family, and I will treat them like family. I am a full-time Master's student, but I only have one class per day! This means I have plenty of time to care for your furry friends and provide them with companionship. Whether you need someone to take your pooch on a walk or house-sit with your favorite couch potato for a few hours, I am here! I live in an apartment attached to a single-family home. The owners of the house have two big, friendly doodles who are happy to share their large, fenced-in yard with a new friend. Animals are free to roam my apartment or remain in a kennel if that is your preference, whatever makes you the most comfortable!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
