I had booked Jennifer to walk my dog Daisy, twice a day for 5 days. On the first day, Daisy wouldn't come near her. She then spent the whole time coaxing her and on the second day she was able to put the leash around her. She is very gentle and a sweetheart. Little did she knew I was watching her on camera ? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER

Joella was great! She did a meet & greet with us, showed up on time each day, kept in communication with us and took her time with our fur baby who can be skittish until he gets to know a new person. Would recommend and use her again.

About: I've been living in a pet-filled household since I was born. I've seen 3 puppies grow into seniors, and I'm currently living in a 3 pet household: senior black lab, baby doodle, and a bossy tuxedo cat. I've learned the work of taking care of a pet since I was little, but more so in the last several years I've really taken on a lot more responsibility. I love caring for pets and learning their own unique habits and personalities. I'm currently a full-time college student and looking to use this as a way to make some money while in college. I have a car and no problem with transportation, my schedule varies but I'm almost always available to take care of any pets. In my own home, we have a big backyard as well as a fenced in patio if the pets want to sit outside. They have their own crates and food bowls as well, although sometimes they sneak into the crate together. I'm someone who follows directions to a T, and if I don't understand something I will always clarify.

About: I understand your pets are your babies and they need to be treated as such! I’m ready to do any task so matter how small or silly it may seem with my full heart and I can’t wait to meet everyone’s fur babies!! I also have extensive training and research in animal behavior and how to react to it and occasionally work at a doggy daycare. And I have grown up around animals and know how to handle reptiles, birds, rabbits, and other common pets. Pets are always welcome in my weekly routine! I’m a university student and I have classes 2 days during the week so I have plenty of time to take care of your babies! I also take care of the pets of my family and friends whenever they’re away and have boarded and does a home stay! I would approach the pet calmly using a calm voice and positive reinforcement to provide a loving relationship with them. I would also do everything I could to make them more comfortable, whether it be doing something silly that’s in their daily routine or give them extra special attention. I will always try my best to help them feel safe and taken care of!

About: NEW TO ROVER SPECIALS OFFERED! -Great value and pricing for dog walking and house visits/stays offered for a limited time I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I grew up in a multi-dog household and have cared for dogs both personally and for others throughout my life. My first dog was a diabetic Labrador, so I’m very comfortable administering medications, including injections, and caring for senior or special-needs dogs. I currently have a friendly, well-trained female German Shepherd who completed a K-9 obedience course as a puppy, giving me strong experience handling and training large dogs. I’ve also cared for smaller breeds, including Shih Tzus, Pomsky, Spaniels, etc. I have full availability and reliable transportation. I enjoy long walks, outdoor time, and making sure dogs get the exercise, attention, and enrichment they need. Whether your pup prefers playtime, walks, or calm companionship, I tailor care to their individual needs. Your dog will receive plenty of love, attention, and dependable care while you’re away. I follow all instructions closely and always go the extra mile to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable. I have a flexible schedule and wide availability, which allows me to accommodate last-minute bookings as well as recurring visits. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and provide dependable, consistent care. I provide attentive, reliable care in your home or mine, following all instructions exactly as requested. I prioritize safety, routines, and comfort, and I’m experienced with administering medications, senior dogs, and special-needs care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel secure, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for most of my life. Since 2010, my Pomeranian Bella has been by my side, and we’ve truly grown up together. She turns 16 this October, so I have extensive experience caring for a senior dog and understanding their changing needs. I also have a 2.6-year-old cat, Coco, who has had three litters, giving me hands-on experience caring for mother cats and raising young kittens. I grew up with cats as well, so I’m very comfortable understanding feline behavior, personalities, and needs. I’m especially confident with cats and small to medium-sized dogs. I genuinely love walking, and taking dogs for walks makes me happy because I get to keep them active, engaged, and happy while enjoying the outdoors myself. I’ll treat your pet with patience, love, and the same care I would give my own. I have a flexible schedule that allows me plenty of time to care for your pets and give them the attention they deserve. I’m available during weekdays and weekends and can accommodate feeding, playtime, check-ins, and other care based on your pet’s normal routine Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I carefully follow all feeding instructions, routines, and special requests. I keep their environment clean and secure, provide plenty of attention and playtime, and always respect each pet’s individual personality and boundaries. I’ll treat your pet with the same love and patience I give my own.

About: With over 4 years of professional dog handling/training experience, I aim to keep your furry friend safe and happy! Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!

As of September 2026, there are 4,952 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Wewahotee. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wewahotee. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Wewahotee.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wewahotee. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
