About: I have been a life-long pet owner. I love hanging out with animals, getting to know their nature and offering them fun playtime and comfort. I am in freelance, so I make my own daily and weekly schedule most of the time. I am able to work around my other jobs to meet your pets when you need. After a calm greeting, I can easily follow any routine needed, whether that is taking a walk, playing with toys, or simply checking in on them. I always want to make sure they are receiving the care they need.

About: Raised around pets and passionate about animal care. Experienced pet sitter and dog walker dedicated to keeping pets happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away! I’m currently out of work for the summer (elementary teacher), so I have plenty of time to spare to care for, play with, and give loads of pets to your furry family member! For my drop-in service, the first thing that you can expect me to do is get to know the pup that I will be taking care of for you (sniffs, gentleness, and patience). Once your pet is comfortable, I will stick to the routine you give me. Morning walks before breakfast? Bathroom break after dinner? I will do exactly that! Of course, I will spend some time playing with them and petting them, if they want me to, before leaving. I will never push your dog outside their comfort zone, and I will always respect their homes too.

About: I've been living in a pet-filled household since I was born. I've seen 3 puppies grow into seniors, and I'm currently living in a 3 pet household: senior black lab, baby doodle, and a bossy tuxedo cat. I've learned the work of taking care of a pet since I was little, but more so in the last several years I've really taken on a lot more responsibility. I love caring for pets and learning their own unique habits and personalities. I'm currently a full-time college student and looking to use this as a way to make some money while in college. I have a car and no problem with transportation, my schedule varies but I'm almost always available to take care of any pets. In my own home, we have a big backyard as well as a fenced in patio if the pets want to sit outside. They have their own crates and food bowls as well, although sometimes they sneak into the crate together. I'm someone who follows directions to a T, and if I don't understand something I will always clarify.

About: With over 4 years of professional dog handling/training experience, I aim to keep your furry friend safe and happy! Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In high school, I completed over 100 volunteer hours at Doglando, where I helped care for and socialize stray puppies, assisted with basic training, and supported efforts to help them find loving homes. Through that experience, I learned how to work patiently with dogs who may be shy, energetic, or still learning good habits. I also started dog sitting for friends in high school! I got to watch these dogs grow up and create such great bonds with them. As a pet sitter, I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every dog like my own. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or extra patience and attention, I strive to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available for pet care throughout the week. I am dedicated to ensuring your pets receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. Coming into your home, I will follow any sort of routine your pups have and will make sure they do not feel as though a stranger is in their home! I love spending time just relaxing with dogs, taking dogs on walks, or even playing catch at a dog park. If your dog enjoys going on adventures, I have a car suitable for dogs and can take them to any spots they love!

About: I’m experienced in taking care of dogs that are very old or very young. I am a gentle and caring dog groomer as well. You can rely on me to be there for you and your pets. I try to pet sit whenever I am free. I have been in the pet industry for 4 years so I am quite familiar with what it takes to take care of our furry friends. As of right now I do not have my own place to offer boarding. I care for your pets by letting them outside every two hours, feeding them on their regular schedule. I will provide basic training if you wish to. I will keep an eye on your pet to make sure they don’t get into things.

About: Hi, i'm new to this app but not at all new to pet care and I promise you won't regret trusting me with your babies! I was raised with different animals (guinea pigs, rabbit, dogs, fish) and was given animal caretaking responsibilities from a young age. Family members and friends rely on me to watch their fur babies when necessary. I can administer medication, follow feeding and walking schedules, and provide endless affection. I have such a deep love for animals and I believe they should be treated just as humans are. I have almost 2 years of volunteer experience at the SPCA of Brevard as well in which I had to clean litter boxes, socialize cats, as well as walk and play with dogs among other duties. I recently returned home from college and I am unemployed. Therefore I have a mostly open schedule. I am currently unavailable Wednesday nights because I am participating in a 10 week church program that meets from 6 to 8 PM. Additionally, I have church service at 10:45 AM on Sundays, so I can provide services anytime before that or after 12 PM on Sundays. I am choosing to keep my schedule open as I want to spend as much time with fur babies as possible. While I cannot bring any more animals into my home, I would be happy to visit animals in theirs! I refrain from bringing animals into my home because I have a free-roam rabbit, a cat, and a dog already roaming around in a small space. I spend my days rotating, loving on all three of them! I enjoy taking my dog for long walks for fresh air and exercise. I sometimes take my cat outside on a leash as well, so she too, can experience the outdoors. I would be happy to do whatever necessary to keep your pets fed, healthy, busy, and happy.

About: I have taken care of various types of animals since I was a child and this has allowed me to learn a level of personal attention and calm energy I bring to every pet I care for. I take time to understand each animal’s routine, quirks, and comfort needs, whether that’s a shy cat who needs space or an energetic dog who needs playtime and structure. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and treat every pet like they’re my own — with patience, consistency, and genuine care. I also give regular updates to pet parents so they can feel confident and relaxed while they’re away. I am currently available every day of the week, so that means I have plenty of time to tend to whatever needs your cat or dog requires! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their established routine as closely as possible to keep the pet comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, give plenty of attention and affection, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise and playtime based on their energy level

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 4,991 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Wewahotee. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wewahotee. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Wewahotee.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wewahotee. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
