We just used Jennifer to drop in & check on our cats while we had a weekend getaway. Everything seemed to go well & we were very comfortable with Jennifer’s care of our fur babies.

About: I have been a life-long pet owner. I love hanging out with animals, getting to know their nature and offering them fun playtime and comfort. I am in freelance, so I make my own daily and weekly schedule most of the time. I am able to work around my other jobs to meet your pets when you need. After a calm greeting, I can easily follow any routine needed, whether that is taking a walk, playing with toys, or simply checking in on them. I always want to make sure they are receiving the care they need.

About: I work as an Assistant Dog Trainer and Kennel Tech at a dog training facility! I’m in school to get my Bachelors Degree in Animal Science, I also previously volunteered at my county shelter, as well as with a local nonprofit rescue. I’ve owned and taken care many different species of animals since I was 14! I currently own 2 dogs, 2 birds and some reptiles! I work part time at the training facility and do school work and my personal clients in between. Feel free to contact me and see if I am available for your fur babies needs! Ask me what’s included in my drop-in visits, or about setting up a meet and greet to see if I’m a good fit for your pet. 😊 At work, I treat every clients dog like they’re my own! I have built bonds with our regular pups. I intend to do the same in any clients home! Walk, exercise, play, feed and even administer medication if needed! Whatever routine your pet is on, I can follow!

I have 5+ years of pet sitting and babysitting experience and am known for being reliable, trustworthy, and responsible. I enjoy staying active, going on walks, playing with pets, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m also clean, respectful, and committed to caring for your home and pets as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾💕 I’m home from college with a very flexible schedule and full availability throughout the week. About: With over 4 years of professional dog handling/training experience, I aim to keep your furry friend safe and happy! Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!

About: I have been a dedicated pet lover and caregiver throughout my entire life. My experience goes beyond just a love for animals; I have lived with and cared for pets of all kinds for over 10 years. Currently, I am a proud parent to four rescue cats (Belle, Blu, Jax, and Baby) and my Boston terrier (Max) which has given me extensive hands-on experience with diverse personalities, quirks, and needs. I am well-versed in essential care routines, including administering medications such as topical ointments and eye/ear drops. I believe in peace of mind for owners. I provide regular updates with photos and videos so you can see exactly how well your pet is doing. I am highly flexible with locations and am available to provide consistent care during holidays. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a senior cat who needs their space respected, I focus on building a genuine bond with every animal I sit for, ensuring they feel safe and loved while you are away. I am very flexible and not picky about location! Pet care is my primary focus, allowing me to provide plenty of dedicated time, attention, and love to your pets while you are away. I am also fully available during holidays to ensure your furry friends are never alone. I prioritize safety by maintaining strict routines and respecting each pet's personal space. I provide frequent check-ins with photos and videos so you stay updated. Whether it’s administering medication or just giving extra cuddles, I treat every home and pet with the utmost honesty, care, and respect.

About: I’m experienced in taking care of dogs that are very old or very young. I am a gentle and caring dog groomer as well. You can rely on me to be there for you and your pets. I try to pet sit whenever I am free. I have been in the pet industry for 4 years so I am quite familiar with what it takes to take care of our furry friends. As of right now I do not have my own place to offer boarding. I care for your pets by letting them outside every two hours, feeding them on their regular schedule. I will provide basic training if you wish to. I will keep an eye on your pet to make sure they don’t get into things.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and my own dog is a beloved member of the family who is definitely spoiled with love and attention. Caring for him has given me experience with daily walks, playtime, feeding, and understanding a dog’s individual needs and personality. I have experience around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, and I would care for your dog with the same level of attention, patience, and affection that I give my own. I’am a full-time student but I only have classes 2 days a week only till 12pm so I have plenty of time in my schedule to care for your pets! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and any special requirements. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, enrichment, and supervision while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I strive to create a safe, stress-free environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and loved.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals since I was a little kid, I grew up horse back riding and thus I have a lot of experience being around animals. I have experience with small, medium and large dogs, I grew up with a Doberman pincher and a Great Dane, so big dogs don’t scare me. I do not have a job currently, I’m full time enrolled in school but I do my work online so I’m always home during the week. On the weekend I spend time out of the house but I’m never out for more than a few hours. I have a fenced in yard and I love going for walks around the neighborhood. I have a two story house but if necessary there is a room downstairs I can sleep in if a dog/cat cannot make it up the stairs and prefers I sleep in the room with them.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 2,230 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Wewahotee. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wewahotee. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
