I’m in school to get my Bachelors Degree in Animal Science, I also previously volunteered at my county shelter, as well as with a local nonprofit rescue. Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!

Jenna was an absolute joy to have as my pet sitter for Emma. She is patient, a clear communicator and pays attention to detail.
