“Very punctual, responsible, caring, and respectful of our schedule and instructions. My dogs absolutely loved them, and even though my cat is usually not very sociable, he at least came out to check on things, which let me know he felt comfortable too. Thank you so much, ladies, for your help and for taking such great care of my pets!”

“Kianys did a great job taking care of Chloe! She was very communicative and let me know quickly when any issues arise. She was also able to quickly extend her visit window when an emergency popped up. I appreciate her willingness to do so and would definitely recommend!”

“Kimberley was wonderful with my 2 cats, Lilly and Lola. I was worried about Lilly because of our experience with our last pet sitter but all went well and Lilly was happy and greeted me when I got home ❤️❤️ I will definitely be calling her again and recommend her highly!!! ?❤️”

“She was super helpful and easy to work with which helped me feel at ease and comfortable when I was away. If I wasn’t leaving I would absolutely continue working with her”

“This was our first time with George and he'll be our go-to guy whenever his schedule permits. Excellent, regular communition both before and during his coverage. Our little terriers Rocky and Apollo are rascals and as an experienced dog handler and trainer, they were butter in his hands. Sent us dozens of pics- many worthy of framing-and timely, specific information on their activities. Thank you George!”

“Anna was excellent! She was responsive and flexible to a last minute change. She also paid special attention to our pup by asking if her house socks were for medical reasons (traction for an older dog on slippery floors) or if she could take them off when Dottie went outside. I would not hesitate to trust Anna with our pup again.”

“Kimberly was very caring and kind to my pup. She was always on time and flexible with her schedule. She ensured that she checked in and gave lots of love to my pup before leaving. Thanks for being there when we were away.”

“Lindsey is reliable and on time which is so important to us in our pets and keeping them on schedule when we are away. We really appreciate the photo updates and the good communication. Thank you for taking good care of our pets Lindsey!!”

“Leah is wonderful! She came and checked on our 2 cats. I loved that she stopped by before the appointment to meet our furry babies. She is responsive and punctual. Thank you Leah!”
“Jean was wonderful with my kitty Kozmo! She arrived on time, stayed with him a bit longer than required, and sent pictures of my boy at the end of her stay. We set up a "meet n greet" before the sitting and the communication on what was needed to be done was perfect. I highly recommend Jean and her superb service.”

“She is amazing with my cats. Very patient, loving, understanding, and playful. I will definitely book her in the future. She has kept me up to date every step that she takes. I feel completely at ease being away from my cats with Emily taking care of them.”

About: With over 4 years of professional dog handling/training experience, I aim to keep your furry friend safe and happy! Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Narcoossee
Tara did an amazing job caring for my two kitties while I was away for a week. She was very attentive and although they’re both usually very shy towards new people, they both warmed up to her and became pals. I am very grateful to have found her through Rover and would recommend her to anyone that has cats with FLUTD and are hesitant to leave them while away. She monitored their litter without me really telling her so and demonstrated her knowledge and love for animals throughout the entire week she watched them. Thank you Tara!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Narcoossee. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
