“Rebekah was incredible. So kind and professional. She took great care of our pups at our campsite so that we could enjoy a few hours in Key West without worrying about them being too hot in our RV. She took a lot of care and provided great updates. We highly recommend her. Thank you, Rebekah!”

“Mariah is amazing and so attentive to detail! My pup can be nervous and shy with unfamiliar people, but Mariah did a great job helping her warm up to her. She is very responsive and great to work with 💜”

About: Serving Lake Nona / East Orlando area / Downtown Orlando / Winter park / St. Cloud / Kissimmee Hello Dog/Cat Parents! My name is Elisa, and I’m a pre-vet biology student with a lifelong passion for animals and their care. Ever since I was younger, I’ve loved spending time with animals and began pet sitting and walking dogs for neighbors, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Over the years, caring for animals has become more than just a hobby for me, it’s something I truly love and hope to turn into my lifelong career. I also come from an equestrian background, where I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding animal behavior. Working around horses taught me how important trust and gentle care are, and I carry that same mindset into every pet I care for. A little bit about me, I have my own dog named Wrangler! He’s a very active, high-energy dog, so I’m very comfortable with energetic personalities, long walks, enrichment, and keeping dogs engaged both physically and mentally. We go on 3-mile walks and hikes daily, so whether your dog loves being active or prefers a slower, calmer pace, I’m happy to adjust to what makes them most comfortable. I also understand reactive dogs, as my own dog has had reactivity challenges in the past, so I always approach pets with patience, awareness, and compassion. As a future equine veterinarian, animal health and safety are extremely important to me. I’m comfortable administering medications and making sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is always to make your pet feel loved and at home, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and reliable hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets P.S: Expect TONS of fun photos! My Pet Care Schedule * I’m available most early mornings early-late afternoons, which works well for walks, drop-ins, and playtime. * I am not available on Sundays or Tuesdays due to religious commitments. * I avoid scheduling walks between 11 AM–12 PM, especially in hot weather, to keep dogs safe from peak heat. * I’m flexible outside of those times and happy to work with each pet’s routine and needs. For example : 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, play, mental enrichment and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy + and comfortable while you're away. How I Care for Pets During House Drop-Ins & Dog Walking * I treat your home with respect, keeping everything clean, organized, and just as you left it, while making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar space. * I follow your pet’s normal routine. walks, meals, potty breaks, and rest so they feel secure and relaxed while you’re away. * I love incorporating enrichment into my visits, so I often bring a sniff mat and tailor activities to what your dog enjoys most. I pay attention to their personality and preferences so each visit feels engaging and meaningful for them. * I make an effort to really get to know your dog what they like, what motivates them, and what helps them feel happiest so I can adjust my care to fit them, not just a routine. * Treats and rewards are always personalized based on what your dog enjoys (because every good pup has opinions, and I respect them). * I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s energy level, whether they prefer a calm sniff and stroll or a more active outing. * My goal is to make each visit feel positive, enriching, and comforting for your pet, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re genuinely cared for.

“Wilmarie was great. She came very last minute and stayed 3 nights with my dogs because the previous dog sitter went MIA. She sent plenty of pictures and was super responsive. Would definitely love to have her watch my dogs again!”

“George did a great job of house sitting and taking care of our small dog and old cat. He also left the house in great shape. He walked the dog, kept them company, and spent the nights. I recommend George.”

“Lindsey did an amazing job house sitting for our dog! She sent plenty of photos and updates throughout the weekend. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I am a dog lover. I enjoy every minute I spend with them. My house is always opened for my friend’s dogs and I practically beg them to let me take care of them while they are out. I have a little dog and a rescue cat. Two kids 15 and 16 and a 22 years old and they all love animals. We don’t smoke or drink and have a safe environment at home. I’m disabled so I work few hours and I come home early and my kids are home every day after 1 pm. I allow them to sleep with me but I respect every owner preference. Pets here are loved and cared by the whole family. Thank you for the opportunity. Natalia I work from home so im able to walk them several times during the day and play with them when they want to. They are so loved and very well taken care of I live in a town home so the dogs can’t leave the place unless I open the door. All dogs staying here have their leash and collar. During the day they can play or sleep as they prefer and they have access to beds (or to my bed lol) to fresh water and food or treats according to their parents instructions
“Jill and James were so good with our pups. they gave them so much attention, they were so active with them, and kept us up to date on everything! Jill and James are such nice people, very understanding, and very thoughtful of our home while they stayed here. We definitely will invite them back to spend more time with our fur babies in the future!”

“Christa was PHENOMENAL! She took such great care of our puppies. She was flexible to all of their unique needs and puppy behaviors while sticking to their routine. Christa was also very communicative, professional, and kind. She made it feel natural to not worry about the pups because we knew they were in good hands.”

About: I've had the privilege of not only helping care for my family’s previous and current dog but also the pets of others. When I lived with my family and we would occasionally watch over our friend's dog in our home so I would help care for a dog then! I've also done in home dog sits with a variety of dogs. I love many animals including dogs. Growing up I personally had a fish and a guinea pig who lived a long life, then our family dog! I currently live in a home with no pets and will be the sole caregiver of your dog. Though, I would love to have my own dog some day!🐶 I currently have a flexible schedule which will allow me to care for your dogs when you need. I try to keep the weekends free especially to rest on Sunday! I will gladly drop by to give your dog a walk or a just some love and attention if that's what it needs and you want!

About: I have five dogs myself. They’re all well trained and friendly with other animals! I live on a large farm with plenty of space for dogs to run. I trained two of my dogs a few tricks each as well as potty trained them I work about four hours a day outside of my home. I always take care of my dogs before and after work. I have family let them out to pee and eat while I’m at work. I spend the evenings playing indoor with them My dogs have a large kennel inside that they sleep in at night. I have hosted dogs before and they sleep in my garage. It’s a warm area year round and if not then they will sleep inside in a separate kennel. I have orchards next to my house so your dogs will be taken on walks throughout them! Two of my dogs spend most of the day outside (depending on the weather).

“Delayna provided excellent care for my dog and cat over the weekend while I was away. My dog can be intimidating for some people to handle since he is big and dog reactive. She handled him well and I came home to a clean home and happy pets. Would highly recommend her to care for your pets.”

“We're new to the area and had to find a new sitter for our fur babies. We are so fortunate we came across Amber! She made the whole process and experience from the meet and greet to housesitting so effortless. I was really at ease knowing the boys were in great hands and the house was taken care of while we were away. When we returned, the house was in order and the boys were in good shape and so happy. Amber went above and beyond and is a true gem! We are so grateful and know we can count on her when we book with her again in the near future!”

She was absolutely amazing with Tobby! We are so grateful for how caring, attentive, and accommodating she was. She treated him with so much love and made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of. She always sent us pictures and kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy to care for your pets and stay in your home, she is truly the best choice. We would absolutely trust her with Tobby again and highly recommend her! ❤️🐾

We couldn’t recommend Jean more highly. She consistently goes above and beyond in every way, and it gives us complete peace of mind knowing our sweet beagle—and our home—are in her care. She’s incredibly professional and reliable, always communicating proactively and keeping us updated with thoughtful check-ins and photos. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does—her passion for caring for animals shines through in every interaction. Beyond just meeting expectations, she anticipates needs, handles every situation with care and attention to detail, and treats our home with the utmost respect. Trusting someone with both your pet and your home is no small thing, and she has earned that trust completely. We feel so lucky to have found her and can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional, compassionate, and dependable pet care.

Kimberley and Josh were amazing and I would highly recommend them! I have a very shy dog that is very nervous around new people and they were extremely patient with him and they gained his trust. I rarely leave him and was nervous but I felt confident and at ease knowing that he was in great hands! I'm so grateful to have found them.

As of September 2026, there are 2,994 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Narcoossee. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Narcoossee walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Narcoossee maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Narcoossee choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Narcoossee. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
