My name is Elisa, and I’m a pre-vet biology student with a lifelong passion for animals and their care. Ever since I was younger, I’ve loved spending time with animals and began pet sitting and walking dogs for neighbors, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have 2 birds that I’ve had since I was just 9 years old! Having two birds of my own has given me hands-on experience caring for pets with different personalities, needs, and boundaries. I understand that some birds can be bitey, nervous, or uncomfortable around new people, and I know how important it is to respect their space and build trust rather than forcing interaction. For shy or less social birds, I am comfortable stopping by to provide fresh food and water, clean their area, offer enrichment, and make sure they are safe and comfortable while respecting their boundaries. As a future equine veterinarian, animal health and safety are extremely important to me. I’m comfortable administering medications and making sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. So make sure to consult with me so we can work around my schedule. I am free early mornings and late afternoons during those days. * I avoid scheduling walks between 11 AM– 3PM, especially in hot weather, to keep dogs safe from peak heat. * I’m flexible outside of those times and happy to work with each pet’s routine and needs. For example : 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, play, mental enrichment and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy + and comfortable while you're away. How I Care for Pets During House Drop-Ins & Dog Walking * I treat your home with respect, keeping everything clean, organized, and just as you left it, while making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar space. * I follow your pet’s normal routine. walks, meals, potty breaks, and rest so they feel secure and relaxed while you’re away. * I love incorporating enrichment into my visits, so I often bring a sniff mat and tailor activities to what your dog enjoys most. I pay attention to their personality and preferences so each visit feels engaging and meaningful for them. * I make an effort to really get to know your dog what they like, what motivates them, and what helps them feel happiest so I can adjust my care to fit them, not just a routine. * Treats and rewards are always personalized based on what your dog enjoys (because every good pup has opinions, and I respect them). * I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s energy level, whether they prefer a calm sniff and stroll or a more active outing. * My goal is to make each visit feel positive, enriching, and comforting for your pet, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re genuinely cared for.

“Alicia is THE BEST! My doggie can be very picky and afraid and Alicia made this easy for me (1st time Rover user). If you are hesitant at all about trying Rover out- don’t be. The experience couldn’t have been better. Alicia made time to let us meet her before we left for the week, she took pictures of our doggie while we were away, gave her meds, and was so patient with not just Reefie- but her doggy mom, me! She also left a little gift bag and sanitized before we got home. Alicia, thank you so much for everything. ?????”

About: I have five dogs myself. They’re all well trained and friendly with other animals! I live on a large farm with plenty of space for dogs to run. I trained two of my dogs a few tricks each as well as potty trained them I work about four hours a day outside of my home. I always take care of my dogs before and after work. I have family let them out to pee and eat while I’m at work. I spend the evenings playing indoor with them My dogs have a large kennel inside that they sleep in at night. I have hosted dogs before and they sleep in my garage. It’s a warm area year round and if not then they will sleep inside in a separate kennel. I have orchards next to my house so your dogs will be taken on walks throughout them! Two of my dogs spend most of the day outside (depending on the weather).

About: Since little I’ve always been around animals. I have a pet bird and a small dog, I’ve trained my dog. I’ve also volunteered at the animal shelter, worked with both area cats and dogs. I am a certified vet assistant. I am also a job on trained Vet Technician. Still in college working towards my doctors degree to become a Vet. Everyday before I go to work I walk my dog, after coming home I walk her again and before bed time. Also in the morning I make sure to give her food and in the afternoon also. I walk my dog everyday, before going to work in the morning, when I come back and on my days off I take her to the park so she can run around. I feed her 2 times a day and I also have a bird at home. Every two weeks I shower my dog and every 2 months I take her to the grooming salon.
